The government responds to the request of North Timeria. The Nation of Modeno has aquired a casus belli against pologne but King Charles I prefers the Diplomatic route to do this. The Polognese are not responsible for the Assassination. The Charred Remains of King Umberto I, Queen Antoinette I and Princess Anna were buried in Modeno Royal Mausoleum. King Charles I is acting fast towards this cituation.

The Abolishment of the Currency

A post-scarcity economy. An economic model that is currently being imposed on the Iravian society. According to current president Justin T. Donovan and his cabinet post-scarcity is the first step on the path of creating a true utopian society. In such an economic system most of if not all industrially produced goods can be manufactured in great abundance and can be provided to all Iravian nationals with relative ease. Thereby eradicating the need for the central government to maintain any real currency.

This is the economic system that has seen widespread support throughout the Iravian Federation in both its government and the general public. Because it is currently enjoying widespread support the bill passed in both the House of Representatives and the Iravian Senate without much opposition.

Today a rather enormous ceremony was organized to signal the beginning of a new economic era, one not dominated by large businesses and money but one dominated by citizens and the mutual understanding that together mankind can accomplish much, much more in terms of scientific advancements, etc. In a speech president Justin T. Donovan expressed his beliefs that the abolishment of the Iravian Guilder (Gulden) would not only benefit the central government, but that it would also benefit the Iravian public most of whom have been strong supporters of the 'New World Economy'. After Donovan had finished his speech he began the introduction of the so called 'New World Economy' by decommissioning the first Guilder.

And so the centralized government has began the lenghty process of collecting and decommissioning all Iravian Guilders currently in circulation in the world economy. It has been estimated that this process would take a minimum of at least ten years, though it could be completed long before that deadline. The Minister of Finances has taken this opportunity to clearify the confusion that arroused around the foreign debts that Irav currently holds. The minister had this to say.

''Since the Iravian Federation is officially abolishing its currency in favour of the New World Economy, a system that thrives in the absence of money. The Iravian government has agreed on a plan to exchange the foreign debts that the Iravian Federation has created abroad for temporary access to certain Iravian production lines, or if prefered in exchange for gold or other natural resources. However since the New World Economy ask for the abolishment of our currency we are forced to deal with our foreign debts as fast as we can.''

Currency Abolished!

Our King, Charles I has issued Royal Proclaimation No.3 earlier this morning. It is about the Abolishment of the Ducat. Modeno is going to be circulating a new currency. The Denarii. The Denarii's goal is to hopefully unite the Italian Penninsula into one single currency. The Ducat is allowed to be exchanged in Royal Banks into the Denarii Until Dec. 31, 2061. Then after Dec.31 The Ducat will be devalued. King Charles I is announcing a Scaled down version of Irav's New World Economy.

I'l Alto Comando Modeno has ordered ten Bombers to sneak into Polognian territory and to bomb the Capital of Polognian Lombardy. The mission was carried out six hours ago. Ten Bombers took off with 50 napalm bombs each. It is armed with flares to counter enemy SAMs in the Area. Radio Silence was ordered.

CIVIL WAR!

After a Viceroy was appointed to oversee Modeno, People have gone into a rebellious rage. 3 Million Modenians are furious about the recent events and is now supporting King Charles I to be reinstated to his nation again. In the Evening of May 2, 2061, 2000 rebels have took control of Former Modenian Military bases in the East. They took all Military Equipment in the bases. On May 3, 2061, In an event which 400,000 Modenians attended. The Council of the People was established and hereby Declare Modenian Independence.

Meanwhile, 2,000,000 Modenians still support the Loyalist Government. Clashes erupted in May 4th around the Province of Central Modeno. The Rebels are getting close to New Treviso. In May 6th only the City of Christophen, A city dedicated to King-Emperor Christopher of Derita stands in the way. May 7th, The City is under siege. Stay tuned until further updates.

President Asentumov was admitted into Gersgav Helentac St. Escheles Hospital today, though for reasons unknown. There has been an air of nervousness of the President's suddenly appearing illness. President Asentumov, first elected in 2032 and again in 2046 serving as the nation's longest serving president has been said to be having a declining health over the last two years, though there has been no effect on his position as a leader. Until now.

There is now rumors of the Presudent having cancer, though which type is unknown and the President's Chief of Staff and Secretary of Press have both responded with no comment over if the President does in fact have cancer. One concern is that if the president dies the exiled royal family the Saxe-Coburg Gotha's. After the brief restoration of Tsar Simeon II (2016-2021), his descendants have continued to try and regain the throne. In 2058 is great grandson Simeon III tried to overthrow the country, failing and then dying last year in Russlande. Now his son, the self proclaimed Tsar Simeon IV in Kiev moves forward in attempting to bring the monarchy back.

From his sick bed in the hospital, President Asentumov has promised that as long as he is alive that the nation will never fall again back into the hands of oppressive and autocratic monarchs that care only for their own power.

The nation was thrown into chaos as Rumelian Separatist leader Kristiyan Korachov seized control of the city of Burgas, claiming it as the new capital of the indepedent Confederacy of Rumelia, with former Bulgarian-Rumelian four star General Nikolas Christov as Supreme Commander and President. In response, Vice President Churbiv Henestain sent in troops to beat down the rebellious people, meeting with mercenaries from Germany attacking them. Six people were critically injured and hundreds harmed, but none have died.

The Rumelian Senate had issue a declaration of war against the "Republic of Bulgarie", noting that Rumelia is no longer apart of the Union. Madame Svilena Ratchev, sister-in-law of President Christov and former Secretary of State (2057-2059), has gone to the Kingdom of Greece , supposedly requesting aid in Rumelia's favor. As civil war will soon spread out across the nation, one wonders what will happen to the people living in it.

Anna Charlotte, the Empress of the Dutch made history today as she became the first reigning sovereign to fly into Outer Space. The Empress, preparing since November of last year was with a team of astronauts as well as trained news reporters and camera when they reached lift off and headed into space. The shuttle carrying them, the Oranje, is planned to make a five day tour around the planet and visiting four Space Stations, two of them Dutch, one of the Iravian and one IU Space Station. The Empress, shortly before launch, expressed that she was honored to be allowed on such a journey and be able to show to the people the new Dutch and Iravian Tourist Space establishments that bring us all ever closer to the future.

The 50 foot tall pillar with the life size statue of the late Prince Consort Leopold was blessed by Her Majesty the Queen and a moment of silence was given in his honor. The Prince had been killed in the terrorist attack in April of this year. Queen Caroline hopes that no one forgets of his needless death.

Princess Louise of the Netherlands, Grand Duchess of Nassau-Mainz and wife of Prince Louis-Raphael gave birth to a son today, Prince Léandre of Belgium and Nassau-Mainz. The Princess, cousin of the late King Wilem-Alexander II and older sister of the Duchess of Wied, was able to deliver her third child and first with her husband (Princess Louise previously had two children with Carl Ludwig van Kajne of which only a single daughter remains alive. With the birth of Prince Léandre, Princess Aura of Belgium celebrates yet another grandchild.
