As this upcoming election comes closer and closer amidst the Empress's command of a snap election, many new faces but old names have been showing up amongst the election of the Senate, the Regional State Council, and the House of Representatives. The Dutch political situation has for decades been dominated by political families, with only a few breaks, and the trend appears to be continuing as the newest generation takes to politics.

At the forefront of the rise of the next generation of the political aristocracy is a member of the House of Representatives, Annabeth Asbury. Asbury, of the famous Asbury Family, has a pedigree to rival the likes of royal dynasties. The eldest daughter of George Asbury Sr. and Angelina Rutte, she is the daughter, niece, and granddaughter, and grandniece of former prime ministers George Asbury, Charles Watson-Rotanne, Mary Asbury, Wieste Rutte, and Andries de Oude. And Annabeth seems well on her way to following in her relatives footsteps.

A graduate from Utrecht University, Asbury dove into politics, following in her father and grandparents footsteps, becoming a community organizer in Amsterdam as a member of the centrist Reginten Party, marrying soap opera star Louw Giskes, joining the Amsterdam City Council in 2090, and having her first child, Jona Asbury-Giskes while wing a seat in the House of Representatives in 2092. Asbury has been seen by many as her father's natural successor, praising her intellect and moderate nature, with critics saying that she refused to change her last name, because that was the only way she'd win elections. Asbury intends to being re-elected to the House.

Annabeth isn't the only daughter of George Asbury making a splash in politics. Right behind her is her younger sister, Cathelijne Asbury, graduate from the University of Surabaya, fluent in five languages and member of the Surabaya Municipal Council, Cathelijne has announced her bid for the Mayoral position in Surabaya in 2095. As their sisters follow the political path, George Jr. and Matthew Asbury have taking different routes, with George Jr. having recently made his debut as a professional tennis player as he studies medicine at Saint Martinus University and young Matthew has gone into study law at Utrecht University.

Jumping over a branch in the Asbury Family tree, former Ambassador Henry Asbury, founder of the environmentalist non-profit Sergreenity, which repairs reefs, raises recycling awareness and lobbies the protection of natural habitats across the empire, has announced his bid to take his brother, West Asbury's vacant seat in the Senate. Meanwhile, the Directorship of Sergreenity has been handed over to Henry's daughter, a fellow environmentalist activist, Marieke Asbury. Marieke has gain fame as a web media personality on Snapgram and other platforms for her environmentally conscious waste neutral lifestyle, her followers known as Mariekites.

Marieke recently posted a video of her creation of a reef regenerative structure made from recycled materials that were strategically dropped off the coast in order to help the coral reefs off the Dutch coast. In attendance of this event was Senator Lodewijk de Oude, the young grandson of former prime minister Andries de Oude. Another graduate of Utrecht University, Lodewijk has risen as a leader in the Senate, calling for young people to vote and get into politics, and his firm conservative stance on Dutch imperial ventures. Lodewijk seems well on his way to working his way up to the premiership.

Pia Ezgerl and Traditionalists win the National Assembly

Pia Ezgerl has retained the premiership as the Traditionalists win 66.8% of the national vote. With the moderate Traditionalists taking 668 seats in the National Assembly, with the Progressives and the new Nationalist Party getting 252 and 80 seats respectively, marking the end of the National Unity Coalition. Ezgerl, who ascended to the office of prime minister following the removal of Kosta Coanda from power despite having previously been a minor politician, has made a name for herself for her willingness to compromise and get things done.

former prime minister, Nikolaus von Hopfer has once again taken up the position of Leader of the Opposition, as leader of the Progressives, whilst Rigmora Geza has been regulated to a more minor position in the National Assembly as founder and leader of her own party, the Nationalists. As Ezgerl celebrates her victory, there is much see will have to tackle, such as her megaproject of Venise City, dealing with rising xenophobia in universities and defining Polonge's place in the world, promises that the prime minister has made that she shall handle in the most efficient way possible.

Prime Minister Ezgerl and Empress Maria Christina are scheduled to meet later today in order to discuss a new doctrine to be set by the new administration.

Pastijn beats back the Asburys and Hadels

The results of the Empire’s general election have come to an end with a close race in the majority of the seats in the States General, with the Eigeelinates narrowly taking the most seats in the House of Representatives and the Senate, with appointments for the Regional State Council to be put under review later on today. The Eigeelinates have a true majority in House with 51.59% of the votes and 729 seats. With this majority of the seats in the States-General, their leader Annelijn Pastijn has been asked by the Crown to form a new government.

The Eigeelinates’ victory can mostly be attributed, surprisingly to their vast popularity in Dattan and the Nusantaran and Malay regions of the empire, which have vastly larger populations than the Dutch homeland. This voting block represents a greater overarching trend of power being tested away from Amsterdam and The Hague to cities like Jakarta and Pudacherri. It seems Pastijn and the Eigeelinates have well made clear their new base of power.

Following behind the Eigeelinate Party, the Dattan Nationalist Party has taken 240 seats, the Hadel Party has taken 237,the Reginten Party has taken 179 seats, the Timbal Hijau Party has taken 21 seats, and the Socialist Party has taken 7 seats. Kahoda Dongerkerry of the DNP has taken up the position of the Leader of the opposition, the first time a Dattan of a Dattan based party has held the position, pushing the Regintens and Hadels out of their position of the major parties.

Prime Minister Pastijn, secure in her position, has begun striking out against the warhawk-ish Hadels and Regintens, the so called ‘Empress’ Parties’. The first had been the firing of all such members of Caninet, including both Michelle Wissink and George Asbury. Pastijn had replaced them with all Eigeelinate members, most notably the appointment of Iskander Hermanto to the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs, who will have to tackle the international stage.

Pastijn and Hermanto, in the eyes of many, stand as direct opposition and alternative from the likes of the Asburys, De Oudes and Ruttes and all other established political families. Pastijn and Hermanto, unlike the wealthy elites who dominate the Reginten and Hadel parties are both career politicians from middle class backgrounds, who weren’t ‘handed senatorships by their parents’, in reference to Henry and Annabeth Asbury’s successful win of seats in the Senate and House respectively.

Nonetheless, Annelijn Pastijn’s victory has kept the Asburys And their fellow Amsterdam elites out of power. However, then seems to mark an over all spilt between Jakarta and Amsterdam as the Prime Minister, instead of going to the Empress, was given her instructions via written instructions. This, to many observers, hints at a deeper division between Monarchy and Parliamentary bodies of the Empire.

This however does not seem to appear to apply to all royals, as the Princess and Prince of Orange were seen attending a celebration for the Eigeelinate’s victory in Makassar alongside the newly appointed Foreign Affairs Minister Hermanto. Whilst there, Prince Christopher and Iskander Hermanto are reportedly time have said that they were on the cusp of a new era, one with a policy of “Patience, Peace and Policing,” whilst in Jakarta Pastijn has spoken of “standing against the corruption of imperialism, and instead to defend the Empire”.

Prime Minister Testarossa is gaining wide praise from Atmorans with the announcement of Ryurik Russia and Neu Estovakia joining the Strategic Defence Coalition (SDC). The SDC was formed in response to what Prime Minister Westmorland deterioration of Atmoran influence in Sol during the interregnum. Westmorland's National Security Council had advised the Prince that in order for Atmora to regain her strength, Atmora would need allies.

With a series of treaties, Westmorland had reestablished Atmora's ability to project power in Sol. With the signing of the Treaty of Novigrad between the founding members; Atmora, Aellyria, Aravea, Vozh, and Timeria. Atmora assured their SDC allies in that any event of foreign invasion on their soils, Atmoran armies and fleets would ensure the sovereignty of their state from foreign powers. Along with Atmoran aid into their defence sectors to build up their defence infrastructure and military. With tensions higher than ever in known space. SDC diplomats have negotiated the admittance of Rurik Russia and Neu Estovakia into the alliance. Bolstering the population within the SDC well over 1.2 billion people.

While every member state within the alliance is strong on their own, with an alliance of 8 nations we are stronger together. Our militaries complement the strengths and weaknesses of each other. And with SDC training our allied nations with one day grow to be our peers. For this reason Field Marshal Westerlaan, Supreme Allied Command Sol has stated that he will be sending SDC advisers to Rurik Russia to help modernise the Armed Forces of Rurik Russia and help it meet SDC standards. Westerlaan has also stated that the SDC is currently in negotiations with another nation to further expand the SDC's capabilities.

Araminta Gboyega, President of the Assembly for the Cayoran Republic met with Sierra Parker-Lee, Prime Minister of Great Hyruke in Vatoria City over the discussion of Cayoran Independence and the end of skirmishes between Cayoran Republicans and Loyalists in southeastern Cayor. President Gboyega and Prime Minister Parker-Lee's meeting was mediated by Temiloluwa Babajide, President of Vatoria. This resulted in the Treaty of Vatoria that formally establishes the Cayoran Republic from the Dominion of the Cayorans, and recognizes Cayoran's sovereignty.

The treaty sees Cayor as a free, sovereign, and independent state, and that the Hyrukian Crown and all heirs and successors relinquish claims to the Government, property, and territorial rights of the same, and every part thereof. It grants Hyruke lucrative fishing and other oceanic resource rights off the eastern coast of Cayor. It allows the Hyrukians to retain Queen Caroline Island, but hands over all dominion territories to the Republic. The Assembly recognizes the rightful owners of all confiscated lands and provide for the restitution of all estates, rights, and properties, which have been confiscated belonging to Hyrukian subjects.

The Treaty assures that the Cayoran Republic will not, in the future, confiscate the property of Loyalists, that all prisoners of war shall be released and that all property of the Hyrukian Royal Army currently in Cayor (except for those in Cayor City) shall remain and be handed over to Cayoran authorities, whilst all other armed forces property shall return to Great Hyruke, with the Republic paying 96.3 billion NSD in reparations to Great Hyruke. Finally, the agreement set has been that the governments of both nations must ratify the treaty within the next six months.

Royal lovers got a wonderful treat to feast on today as Augusta, Princess Imperial, the only child, and daughter of the late Emperor Frederick V and present Dowager Empress Elisabeth married Lord Arthur Percy, the third child and second son of the Duke of Wessex. Augusta and Arthur met in Carlstedt in 2087 as kids and began officially dating in 2091 and became engaged in June of last year. The religious ceremony today came after a civil ceremony yesterday between the couple.

The wedding took place at Kaiser's Cathedral, the traditional spot for the coronation of Brandeburg monarchs, and where Augusta's parents were married in 2072. The cathedral is set in downtown Carlstedt and the streets were closed off and baskets of flowers were hung from lamposts and quickly gathered the attention of eager onlookers and well-wishers who gathered around the gates to watch the beautiful procession.

Princess Augusta wore a white lace gown designed by her groom's aunt, famed fashion designer Elizabeth Percy, with a high neckline and three-quarter sleeves. Lord Arthur Percy in turn wore a Riessan made morning suit designed by Asser Lilienthal. Princess Augusta was walked down the aisle by her maternal grandfather, Archduke Leopold of Galicia. Princess Gisela of Aschaffenburg, of the Aschaffenburgs longtime friends of Riessan Imperial Family, help with the bride's lengthy train.

Augusta's beautiful veil was topped off with the Wessex Floral Tiara, a tiara created for the Duchess of Wessex for her own wedding ceremony and previously worn by Arthur's elder sister Princess Theodosia de Valois (nee Percy) and sister-in-law, Princess Amalia of Sassonia. The groom, on the other hand, arrived with his mother, Theodosia Bryce, who donned a soft pink dress and matching silk gown jacket. The nobleman dressed up in a tux with a dotted Riessan blue tie for his big day.

Arthur's father, the Duke of Wessex was also in attendance alongside the other Percys, including all five of Arthur's siblings and his aunts and uncles: Elizabeth Percy, Prince Henry, Prince Jean of the Dutch Empire, and the Kings of Cinyras, and Queen Ariane of Great Hyruke. Arthur's Catholic aunts and uncles were not in attendance. Other friends and family of the groom included Pierce Cameron-Bryce, Percy & Aleksander Neptune, Lucas Chambers, and his best friend Jamarico Bradford.

Empress Anna Charlotte and her ex-husband, the Count of Mendoza arrived separately, but seemed to get along well during their grandson's wedding. On Augusta's side, her uncle and aunts: the Emperor of Riessany, Tsar and Tsarina of Imarati, the Duke and Duchess of Walsrode, the Queen of New England, the King of Beliany and the King of Bavaria. Other notable guests of friends and family of Augusta included Princess Marlene of Clarence and Corina Staffel, Laura Schatz, Adela Ardales, and Cäcilie Kesi.

Wedding celebrations are set to continue for the next three days before Lord Arthur Percy and the newly minted Princess Augusta, Lady Arthur Percy jet off for a honeymoon cruise, a Riessan royal tradition since the honeymoon of Emperor Edward IV and Christina of Derita 85 years ago. Likely destinations include Paga Paga (a port favorite), the isle of Capri, Ko Tao and Ko Yao Li and the Aukusa Bay Area.

Prime Minister Testarossa was in Rurik Russia today. Along with Joséphine Bêchet, Secretary-General of the AEC, who joined later in the meetings. The meeting between the Prime Minister and Tsarina Catherine V was to discuss the handover of a portion of an unpopulated territory, of the Atmoran state of Menevia. A relatively large portion of land larger than Rurik Russia's Terran holdings. Under the agreement between Testarossa on behalf of the Atmoran Empress and the Rurik Tsarina; the Atmorans ceded the Western State Territory of the State of Menevia to be colonised and governed by Rurik Russians. Henceforth the area of land being ceded will be granted full autonomy from the Atmoran Empire, and fall under the jurisdiction of Rurik Russia. Atmora shall aid in Rurik Russia's colonisation of their Menevian colony, granting Atmoran ships and IASC vessels will be allowed to transport Rurik Russian colonists to Menevia.

As the Rurik Russians do not have their own space force of their own to protect their colonial holding, Testarossa has offered IASC protection. Along with Rurik Border Guards to be allowed in the city of Gwent to process people seeking to go to Rurik Menevia. The second part of the meeting was with Secretary-General Bêchet of the AEC. Bêchet had offered a seat to Rurik Russia to the Astraeus Economic Community, due to Testarossa sponsoring Rurik entry into the trade bloc.

Famous Aellyrian designer starts clothing line

Famous clothing designer Hanz Ceff has founded a new line of high end suits and dresses, using only Aellyrian fabrics such as Aellyrian linen and wool. Hanz Ceff most famous for his contract with the Holy Imperial Military designing dress and service uniforms has hopes that his new civilian fashion line will be just as popular and beloved within Aellyria, hoping to invoke the glory of the Holy Empire and the Aellyrian history with each piece.

In other news, the Holy Colonies have expanded in population as more families are having large families, the average colonial family having ten to eleven children. This has come with the news that the high nobles of Aellyria have been called to the capital to have a meeting with the Lord-Regent and the Holy Emperor regarding the consolidation of their private security forces into that of the Holy Aellyrian Military, excluding their clan security which are comprised entirely of clan members and cannot be infringed upon by ancient law.

The Long Journey back Home

An uneasy agreement has been reached between the Aogaian and Dutch governments, mediated over by Cris Aurelians, for the arrival of the single largest collection of rare Aogaian cultural artifacts back in Aogau. Known decisively as the Aogaian Collection, it has for the last seven years been considered amongst scholars and academics the crown jewel of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.

This status has lead to nearly a decade of outrage from Aogau as the people called for the return of their artifacts. With the mass cultural destruction caused by the ‘Dutch Fury’ policy during the Eacusian War, much of Aogaian cultural items have been left in a state of rarity, with the traditional religious institution of the country amongst entirely destroyed save for a few priests who managed to escape Aogau during the war.

As such, the Aogaian Collection has become exceptionally prized, and further demanded to be repatriated to Aogau, which has in the past been repeatedly refused by the Rijksmuseum. This thorn has continuously harmed Aogaian-Dutch relations. Finally, negotiations were reached under the mediation of Cris Aurelians. The agreement involves a world tour of the precious Aogaian Collection and the construction of the new Hoʻohelena Museum, which shall be its new home.

The construction of the Hoʻohelena Museum is part of the wider Aurelian Reconstruction & Development Plan which has seen Aukusa Bay Area, Ondas, and Rotterdam based companies, such as Martin Construction Co. rebuilding the interior of the nation. While Hoʻohelena Museum will be an association of the Rijksmuseum, it shall be fully Aogaian operated. While it is being constructed, the collection shall criss cross the planet.

Despite Queen Sa’ea‘a agreement to the deal, Aogaian protestors have began voicing their outage over the deal, arguing that by placing them in the Hoʻohelena, they shall still be forced to see the Dutch Empire’s hand looming over artifacts that are rightfully the property of the Aogaian people, rather than the Rijksmuseum. It is unclear how these protests shall evolve in the future as these half manner deal does only so little to ease over all tensions.

As the densely populated Aukusa Bay Area continues to experience rapid growth on a scale not seen in the rest of Derita in over a century, as both lower-class mainlanders and international-minded businesspeople flock to the cities of the bay area, one neighborhood, in particular, is seeing mass growth and mass wealth. Known as Trilioneas Row, stretching along Cyasali Avenue from Gnyama Gate Square with its intersection with Katikati Avenue and north to Tano Street, all alongside Bustaniupande Park in the western section of Aukusa City.

Trilioneas Row has gained its name as it is rapidly becoming home to the wealthiest individuals in the Aukusa Bay Area, who are desiring luxurious housing fitting their opulent lifestyles. Real estate companies like Rubasana RE, Kani Homes, and Pokwana have bought land plots along Cyasali Ave and Bustaniupande Park to construct massive residential high rises with easy access to the many amenities of the retail and cultural districts of central Aukusa City.

Over half a dozen residential highrise buildings are currently under construction, with the first of these, Saudajida Tower, the planned home for business magnate Kereenyaga Saudajida, the elderly founder and CEO of the Sahe Energy Conglomerate and Magharibi Hotels & Resorts, is set to be completed to later this year. Saudajida Tower is to be 615 meters and have apartments worth upwards of 15.7 million NSD a unit. Saudajida himself also knows the Kitta International Hotel, to be completed only a few blocks away in 2096.

Other buildings include 1742 Cyasali Ave, 220N3 and the Kwenkwe Promenade, all expected to become homes of wealthy families and individuals like the Troyes Family, the Mgijima Family, the Alençon Families, Ava & Alexander Ardales, Claudette Charpentier, Maud Verga, Mcebisi Mqalo, Nonyameko Calata, and Jongikhaya Pokwana. This glamorous new high rise community has become a shining example of the mass wealth flowing into the Aukusa Bay Area, even if its a sign of the growing disparity between the wealthy and poor.

The Knighting of Sir Lyn.

Today we honor the knighting of Sir Lyn, a common born soldier who saved his superior officer, the young Lord Balarethon in combat in the colonies, on a small jungle moon, a tribe of aliens attacked the company that was setting up a forward surveying post, within this company was the young lord and then Sargent Lyn. Sargent Lyn watched as one of the primitives drew back his bow to shoot at the young lord, when he jumped in front of him, taking the arrow to his shoulder then continuing to fight for the rest of the engagement, killing five of the primitives.

It is said that the Holy Emperor himself will be making a holographic appearance in order to witness this knighting ceremony and will be commending the newly minted knight.

After years of abroad in the world, the infamous criminal Rhaenir the Betrayers was recaptured when he was sighted coming off a private ship docking in Indriabul, and with him his daughter the hereditary Princess Rhaea Aeylgarn whom many thought dead but is a very much alive and beautiful seventeen year old young woman, already she has captured the hearts of the public and will be rejoining her clan as a hereditary princess of the Aeylgarn clan but not of the Imperial household. Her future is of course undetermined, however her father will be kept in the Aeylgarn clans custody and most likely spend his life in solitary confinement.

Cultural Revival of Aellyria

In light of the return of the Han population to Aellyria, the Holy Emperor has decided to celebrate the shared culture of the two Aellyrian peoples by hosting the first Flower Moon Festival in a century since it was banned in a zealous act of false nationalism as it is described today. Now it is clear the festival is one of the most Aellyrian holidays in our culture. We are excited to see this festival take place as apparently it will be happening this month, in it's traditional time span it will last for three days celebrating the start of the fishing season in south eastern Aellyria, the Order of Quel will be there in order to satisfy the traditional accuracies of the festival and of course hold sermons on the Holy Aeylic Church. The Festival will be a mandatory event, so please citizens enjoy yourselves.

Russen plot foiled!

Martial law has been declared in Amsterdam at the orders of Empress Anna Charlotte foiling the uncovering of an attempted covert operation to bomb the Sleutelbloemkant Building, which hosts the Imperial Arts Collection, which was scheduled to be reviewed by Anna Charlotte yesterday. The discovery of the bombs took place just mere hours before the Empress was set to arrive at the building. It is believed to have been an assassination attempt on the Empress. Suspects have been arrested and are currently under military interrogation, of them, only one's name has been released, Vsevolod Kolesov.

Kolesov is a 22-year-old Russen national studying at Wageningen University as an international student for a degree in biochemistry. Kolesov was found on security footage leaving the Sleutebloemkant Building shortly after closing hours on the day before the Empress' review. Kolesov was apprehended at his hotel in Amsterdam alongside several others believed to be his co-conspirators. The existence of these co-conspirators has given rise to the belief that there were other targets across the city, empowering the Empress to declare martial law with Colonel Dirk Watering as her second-in-command.

Colonel Watering has closed off the capital in order to prevent any other conspirators from leaving the city, whilst the Royal Palace, long having seen battle, as been turned into a virtual fortress. Kolesov is suspected to be a Russen agent, implanted by the Russen Chancellor, Nukai Aurelians to pose as a college student and assassinate the Empress. Kolesov arrived in the Empire in 2090 and has till now not raised suspicion, believed to be lying in wait to attack the Empress once she returned from the colonies. This incident on a larger scale represents a continuous deterioration of Russo-Dutch relations over the last six months.

Whilst no official statement has been made accusing Chancellor Aurelians of attempting to assassinate the Empress, Colonel Watering has assured the public that military officials shall gain the truth from Kolesov and his conspirators.

Following bold statements that have been, effectively, accusations of the Chancellor using secret Okhrana operatives to assassinate the Dutch head of state, Chancellor Nukai Aurelians has demanded the Dutch renounce their outrageous claims and publicly apologize for their slander. The Provisional Constitutional Convention released a statement expressing outrage at the Dutch Empress, and have seen many agree that this affront demands a response from the Great North.

Chancellor Nukai Aurelians, the 25-year-old grandson of the Tsarina, held a digital appearance to officially denounce the accusation, saying:

“In a world of so much information and when individuals wield the power and influence once reserved only for autocrats, it had become dangerous for every citizen of the world. These events show just how easily one can craft illusions that can be mistaken for reality. This grand theatre of which the Dutch Empress is director and star, would be quite entertaining, if not for the illegal seizure and holding of Mr. Kolesov, an innocent student, caught in the web of an imperialist spider.”

The Chancellor spoke further, in regards to Russo-Dutch relations, directing his statements directly to the Dutch and the empress in particular, saying:

“Russlande and the Netherlands have been allies for many years. Nearly 35 years, through it all, our two nations have worked together in civilian and military efforts, from the seas of the tropics, to cyberspace to outer space. And yet in the last six months Anna Charlotte seems determined to undo all the excellent work of her forebears and make us her enemies. Well I warn you, Empress, beware.”

“Russlande has fought many great empires who have dared to strike us. All have been crushed, beneath a sea of their own blood. We will not hesitate to send yours to the graveyard as well. If you wish to take a swing as Mother Russlande, you are going to need a far larger bat. And if you want to take a swing at me, do not dare to use one of my citizens. Release Mr. Kolesov and end this charade, or you may live just long enough to learn true Russen assassins do not fail.”

Supreme Commander Mobilizes Battlefleet Homefront, Declares New England Will Stand With the Dutch

It has been a shocking time, with an attempted assassination attempt against an allied monarch, and the arrest of the attempted assassin, followed by the threats made by the Chancellor of Russlande, the so called 'Rat of the Aurelians' amongst Stellar Military circles, has caused a dangerous situation, one which may well plunge millions into a bloody war. This however does not seemed to have phased the Supreme Commander, as the Grand Duke of Kennenbrec has made his intentions clear, a Russen attack would result in war between the Great North and the Stellar Kingdom. This does not seem to be an empty threat, as the four hundred vessels of Battlefleet Homefront, already in the vacinity of Earth, was mobilized, and moved into high orbit, with their main batteries charged and prepared to fire, although their targets are unclear, wether it be installations in orbit, or the Russen cities and people down below in the icy Russen wilderness.

This has been followed by the mobilization and preparation for action by Stellar Military forces across controlled space, as well as the activation of planetary, and brand new orbital, defense systems, in preperation for a possible attack, as well as a movement of forces towards the borders of wildspace. This development, while sudden, has recieved a surprising amount of support from military and public leaders throughout the kingdom, many applauding the Supreme Commander for his firm approach, and loyalty to the allies of the Stellar Kingdom, although there are a small amount who fear that the Russens may provoke the Supreme Commander to commit acts of ruthlessness not seen since the Insectoid Wars, where an entire species was driven to extinction in a war of annihilation, more than a decade ago. Only time will tell, as the birds of prey circle, rapidly downwards towards the flames of war, a war that may very well see entire star systems burn.

Rice crop predicted to boom this year

The Holy Imperial Agricultural Department has announced that the rice crop is predicted to produce almost twice the amount of rice this year than in previous years. This is due to the efforts the Holy Empire has invested billions within the vertical urban farming industry within the past decade. This surplus will be used to feed the Aellyrian populous at a reduced price and allow the Holy Aellyrian Empire to export crops at an increased rate to nations who struggle producing the basics for their people. The Imperial Minister of Agriculture is quoted saying, "Many nations produce wonderous luxuries and technologies, just as we do, however they do so at the cost of basic necessities, we believe that to be an unacceptable bargain, we hope that the surplus we choose to sell can help those nations that need it. Hail the Holy Emperor and the Holy Empire.

In other news, the First Estate has voted to pass the Minimum Basic Income policy, this will provide a one thousand mark check to each member of the population every month in order to stimulate an increased focus on education, scientific research and artistic expression. Lord Myr of the First Estate is quoted saying, "The lower caste is being choked by automation shoving more of them into the dredges of society, this is inappropriate. As the guardians of their well being it is our responsibility to assist them in climbing out of the mud."

Prime Minister Seceda responds to Dutch—New English Agression

Paola Seceda, former general and recently elected prime minister of Espana, spoke out against the aggression displayed by New English forces mobilizing alongside the edge of wild space, which earlier this year by a treaty with Russlande and Makonia, demanding the New English move away from Spanish colonial borders.

Prime Minister Seceda, seemed the right hand woman of Queen Josefina, who sat in with the talks that ended the Gambit War won the premiership in March, stated that the ‘testosterone fueled d*ck measuring contest’ between the Russen Chancellor and New English Supreme Commander shall only breed further ‘testosterone fueled idiocy’.

In regards to the Dutch Empire, Prime Minister Seceda stated that ‘The aggression expressed by the Empress reflects a unbridled act that over steps her powers and further proves the danger her empire poses to foreign nationals in it. We hope that our democratically elected counterparts in Jakarta shall right this wrong.”

As the stand off between the Russen Empire and the Dutch Empire & New England continues, the head of government has take a move that seems quite unexpected. The Chancellor, in midst of a crisis, has gone on vacation. This move is quite unprecedented. Chancellor Aurelians has gained much love and popularity in Russlande for his tireless efforts to better Russen lives, seemingly working non-stop.

Critics have stated that the chancellor is attempting to escape the political backlash of the crisis. This group, lead by Constitutional Convention representative Mili Ryzhikov (29) believes that this is an attempt for the chancellor to lay low and leave the handling of the crisis in his more stern, and older advisors. Ryzhikov and his like minded group believe that Aurelian is too soft on Russen foreign policy, calling him jokingly “Prince-President” for his elitist connections with foreign governments.

Others however have stated, in support of Aurelians, that this is a power play by the chancellor. Aurelians, according to his supporters, is showing that he does not fear the threats of either the Dutch nor the New English. Enough so to leave the country for vacation. The Chancellor has refused to comment on anything, the last thing he said before leaving that he would be back in time to shake Mr. Kolesov’s hand. Instead the young head of state has been continuously posting pictures of himself and his family on the beaches of the tropics.

Empress remains silent as Vsevolod Kolesov returns Home!

Less than a week following the discovery of a bombing plot at the Sleutebloemkant Building, a plot that, had it succeeded, could have taken the life of Empress Anna Charlotte, it’s prime suspect college student and supposed Okhrana Spy, Vsevolod Kolesov, has been released from custody and is on his way back to Russlande, albeit not as a free man.

In an unexpected turn of events, Kolesov was tried by a military tribunal in Amsterdam and found guilty of having conspired to assassinate the Empress alongside twelve ‘radical liberals’ associated with local Eigeelinate party committees, but was found not guilty of being a Russen spy. It was decreed that Kolesov had acted independently of his home country.

And, in a sudden twist in tone, it was agreed, as a sign of good faith between the Dutch and Russen Empires, Kolesov’s punishment, instead of life in prison, would be deportation to Russlande, where he would be punished by Russen courts working in tandem with Dutch ones, to be sent into lifelong exile in the frozen wastelands of Siberia.

Empress Anna Charlotte was no where to give a comment on events. It is unknown how the Russen and Dutch governments were able to reconcile, believed to have been done either via the foreign minister and Russen ambassador, or through a secret back channel. Despite this, whilst outright conflict may be hopefully avoided, it seems that relations shall remain as cold as Siberia.

Bombing at the Ballet!

65 injured and 38 dead in the Coraovsky Theatre Bombing

Terror and horror grips the nation as flames rise over Moskva following an unprecedented attack in the capital. With the Sleutebloemkant Incident barely in the rear view mirror, a bombing took place in Moskva in what seems to have been an attack on Chancellor Nukai Aurelians. The attack took place at the Coraovsky Theatre, named after Chancellor Aurelians' great-grandmother Grand Duchess Cora of Russlande, and home to the Dumaticate Ballet Company shortly before the opening of the ballet, Serebryanyy Mirazh, written in 2011 by Natalia Avdonina.

Chancellor Aurelians has long held a reputation of being a lover of the arts, the ballet in particular. Having returned from his vacation in the south of Great Hyruke, he was attending the ballet with Genrietta Zubkova, Miss Russlande 2089 and Imarati ambassador, Daniel Dgebuadze. Chancellor Aurelians and the hundreds of other guests were heading into the Coraovsky Theatre when an explosion went off in the lobby of the theatre, sending a column of fire into the sky and a shockwave across the city block, shattering all nearby windows. Chancellor Aurelians, Ambassador Dgebuadze and Miss Zubkova, though outside, were among those caught in the blast radius.

The explosion is believe to have been caused not by a planted bomb, but an attack launched by a RPG from a nearby rooftop. The Moskva Metropolitan Police and the national guard are searching for the perpetrators of this attack. Over 60 confirmed deaths have been counted, a combination of guests -many, members of the Russen elite- and workers alike, including 8 of the Chancellor's guards, Genrietta Zubkova and the 105 year old Avdonina. Nearly forty people have been injured, most severely. Ambassador Dgebuadze was discovered with his leg crushed beneath a broken pillar thrown from the theatre's lobby, but alive.

Chancellor Aurelians was discovered with a piece of shrapnel impelled in his torso. Though he was taken to the Imperial Hospital of the Grand Kremlin, reserved for the Imperial family, his status is unknown, presumed critical, with rumors spreading of his life-threatening condition or even death. No official statement has been released in that regards. It is unclear who is to serve as head of the government if the chancellor is dead or if he dies. This has fueled an atmosphere of panic throughout the capital and much of the country. Chief of Police, Artemiy Chmykhov has ordered the police to maintain order.

The Provisional Constitutional Convention is holding an emergency session tomorrow. Mili Ryzhikov, who recently grew national attention for his critic of Aurelians, spoke on the matter, saying: "I, like all of Russlande, am praying for Chancellor Aurelians and all those who were struct by this clear barbaric act if terrorism. It is the duty of all of us, to protect Mother Russlande and all her citizens. This savagery won't stand. Those behind this will be hunted down, to the ends of the universe, and kill them. No matter how high their position. The era of autocrats, sovereigns, presidents and the like getting away with anything is over. Now is the time of the people. And the Russen people want blood. And they will get it."

Death and Curse of Chancellor Aurelians!

Barely a week after the Coravosky Theatre Bombing, tragedy re-opens thé wound as, whilst the man hung for the terrorists behind the attack continues, it claims its latest victim. Nukai Aurelians, Chancellor of the Russen Empire was declared dead by his doctors at 9:34 am this morning.

Aurelians, just 25 years old, had been Chancellor since 2089 and had become beloved across Russlande. Praised for his modernization and social reform, he excelled as a diplomat and humanitarian, seeing to the care of the homeless and orphans by opening the palaces of the Imperial Family to those most in need. With his sudden death, the country is plunge into a level of mourning not seen in living memory.

Mere hours after his death, to the surprise of everyone, a funeral was being prepared, suggested that the chancellor had made arrangements, perhaps know he was dying from his injuries in the bombing. His father, Prince Jean, Duke of Aurelians and sister the Enderase of the Genoise Empire were both rushed to Moskva alongside Queen Ariane of Great Hyruke and Princess Marie-Sofie of Catorana, mother’s to Aurelians’ four daughters.

They accompanied the transportation of Aurelians’ body from Moskva to Saint Petersburg, where, joined by the Grand Duke and Duchess of Selesburge (Aurelians’ grandmother), Nikito Rychenkov, Boris Manyakin and Agafia Kulagina, along with a handful of press to film the somber event, they attended the military funeral of Chancellor Aurelians, due to him as a naval officer of Russlande and his entombment into the Peter & Paul Fortress at 9:00 pm.

Meanwhile as Nukai Aurelians was being entombed, his last testament was being read to the nation and the world, appointing Mili Ryzhikov as his successor as Chancellor, giving his vast private fortune to the Nukai Aurelians Charity Foundation, to continue the work he’d done for the homeless and orphans, among other charitable avenues under the oversight of his siblings J.J. & Catherine Aurelians and Jonathan II of Geneva.

But most shockingly was his last message. To the world. For the Chancellor, it seems in his final act unleashed a curse upon the world. Written were his last words:

“May my assassins behold my gift and my curse, deliver them all the heaven they desire and all the hell they deserve. As I die, I shall bring the world with me, and in score, see every crown shattered, every chain broken and every empire of stars torn down.”

The ominous last testament and curse upon the world is currently being hot debated by même vers of the Church, with many believing, that as a man of god, the chancellor had been given a vision of the future by God, a vision of the apocalypse. Some have started to believe the curse is a call for revolution or even galactic anarchy. Others believe that perhaps the curse has a deeper as of yet unknown meaning.

July Coup: First Riessan Empress

Returning from her honeymoon with her husband, Lord Arthur Percy, one can not be sure if Augusta of Riessany expected to find the imperial crown waiting for her. Nonetheless, the 20-year-old daughter of the late Emperor Frederick V of Riessany enterrés the capital, escorted by a regiment of soldiers this afternoon as Charles I’s regime collapsed around him, forcing the emperor and his family to flee to Selesburge, ironically the same place Emperor Augustus fled to when Charles overthrow him.

A familiar face lead the coup against Charles I, Graf Artur von Schünemann, the Captain of the Garde du Corps, the very man who helped overthrow Dowager Empress Amalia two years ago. Schünemann once again saw to the securing of the chancellory, Wasserburg once again forced to, or perhaps choosing to, stand aside as the monarch was topple and a new one propped up by an elite group of the Riessan military. This coup, unlike the one in Bavaria in 2091, had gain more scrutiny under complaints that the country has, in effect, become ruled by the Garde du Corps.

Even more outrageous that the state being secured in the hands of the military, is the fact that now the crown falls on the head of a woman. Augusta, hailed by Schünemann as the first Riessan Empress, is the first woman to hold such a position and already unease is rippling through the country. Named after her grandmother, Dowager Empress and Grand Duchess of Selesburge, she is a relatively unknown actor, having cared for her great-great-grandmother for many years, and having recently married Lord Arther Percy, grandson of the Dutch Empress.

Some have theorized that Anna Charlotte, with the aid of Augusta’s aunt, Queen Victoria of New England, having murdered the Russen Chancellor has decided to strike at Riessany, which has for over a decade now held an anti-Dutch stance and served as a counterbalance on Eacusia, intending on using her granddaughter-in-law to sway Riessan interests. Others believe that the threat is more domestic, with Schünemann having placed a weak woman on the throne in order to control matters from a shadow government in the military. Some have theorized this is why Charles was put in charge, for his weak will, but was removed because of the influence of his wife.

Social media has take the event by storm, dubbing it the July Coup and posting memes of a plotting Dutch Empress and New English Queen. With Augusta installed in the newly renamed capital of Caiserstadt, Riessany is left with two pretenders to the throne. With the three candidates being the indecisive Charles, the infant Augustus and the female Augusta, it seems that the Riessan people are damned if we do, damned if we don’t, no matter who ends on the throne, causing for some to call for the end of the monarchy all together.

The Founding of the Chem Corps

The Holy Aellyrian Emperor, Andreas Aeylgarn, has announced the founding of the Aellyrian Chemical Corps. A small branch of the Holy Imperial Army that will be dedicated to the study of chemicals and how they affect both living and non-living objects. The Holy Emperor assures that this will be to the benefit of the Aellyrian people, and that he encourages enlistment into the corps by young collegiate men and women in the fields of chemistry, bio-chemistry, and other related chemical fields.

In other news, the Imperial Fleet has been directed to begin the construction of new exploration ships to begin exploring currently unexplored space, these ships would be mostly automated and directed by AI, but having a small crew of scientists and engineers in order to find newer colonies to settle and find new and plentiful natural resources.
