"Get off!" Allen snapped, pushing her hand away. Then he realised what he'd done and turned pale. "I-I'm sorry miss do what you want." He said meekly.

[Valaran]

About 5 minutes later, she passed the odd boy from yesterday. As if to back up her opinion of him, he was currently lying prostrate on the ground with a blanket and a strange silver triangle.
"What the...what are you doing here?" she asked, not noticing the new girl yet.

And suddenly the moment was gone, the spirituality punctured by practical voice of a new arrival. Si looked up. It was.... wait who was that?

"Hi there." she called out softly, feeling very loud in the quiet of the hall.

[The greater Vakolicci Haven]

"The worst part is that she doesn't see anything wrong with it," Elosqir told Mewan glancing again at Alicia and Allen. "The way she sees it, he's just another of her possessions that she can play with as much as she wants. That or hang a bag on if she wants a bag to be moved around with her, or sell if she doesn't want. It's sick, don't you think?"
"Very good," Alicia said as Allen suddenly changed his mind. She put her hand on his shoulder and sighed deeply.
"We really need to do something about this," she said finally. "You should know by now that I can touch any part of your body like I can touch anything else that I own, like a car...or a piano...or a box of chocolates. If I was sick in the head, I could do something else that I'd do with a box of chocolates...luckily I don't think I'll be doing that."

"Hi," Maria said, searching through her electronic memory for the girls name. "Si, wasn't it? Oh and...Andrew? Sorry, is this a bad time to barge in? I was just going to say we're looking at leaving now."

[Valaran]

"Yeah. And you were....?" She put on a small smile; they came more naturally now she was a little more awake.

"Oh its not a bad time for me. I only just arrived myself. But what about you....Andrew?"

[Kwadai]

"Possession...that's exactly what he is to her, that really is a disgusting way to think. People are not possessions.", Mewan replied occasionally casting glares in Alicia's direction.

[The greater Vakolicci Haven]

"Maria," she answered, walking closer to the girl now she was slightly more familiar. "Maria Schtenko. I actually have the privelage of living almost full-time with these people. Can you believe it? You've only got a year...I've already had 6, and their's another to go."

"I know it's sick," Elosqir repeated, looking at Mewan. Strangely, the other boy was beginning to excite feelings in him that had not been excited for a very long time...in short, that body was hot.

[Kwadai]

Mewan looked at Elosqir noticing a change in him...."So", he began smiling "Do you like living here, aside from her?"

"Oh I like living here, it's fine," Elosqir said, trying to look at Mewan without him noticing.

-"Do you have any kind of public transport in Celeria?"- Michael asked the boy, whose name he didn't yet know.

[Kwadai]

"Oh I like living here, it's fine," Elosqir said, trying to look at Mewan without him noticing.

"That's good then!", Mewan replied. "It was a massive shock to the system for us at first, but we're adapting, slowly and it will take a bit still but I'm definetly getting more used to it". Mewan briefly looked at Elosqir, though trying to make it unobvious whether he succeeded or not, he wasn't sure.

"I'm sorry miss. I-I keep thinking too highly of myself and forgetting that I'm just your property. I'll behave better from now on." Allen forced himself to say.

[Valaran]

"Maria," she answered, walking closer to the girl now she was slightly more familiar. "Maria Schtenko. I actually have the privelage of living almost full-time with these people. Can you believe it? You've only got a year...I've already had 6, and their's another to go."

"Maria. Nice to meet you" Si held out her hand as the girl walked closer. "Six whole years? That... sounds either exhausting or fun. Perhaps both?"

"I've been hear since I was 11," Maria said, shaking Si's hand. "I'd say it's been both exhausting and fun. But well...I'm a cyborg, so whether I'm exhausted or not just depends on how much food and energy pills I can get inside me, I'll keep on running without sleep if I can manage that. Never tried it though...I might once, although living without sleep sounds like a bad idea."

"I do wish you believed it," Alicia sighed, leaning into Allen. "Gods...Maria keeps the air conditioning too cold in hear, but I can't find the remote. Keep me warm."

"I imagine it was a pretty big shock," Elosqir replied, spotting Mewan's gaze upon him...he wasn't going to complain. "The fact we weren't really expecting you and the first thing you saw getting out of the car was me with my shirt off was probably not a good start," he continued.
Elosqir's head snapped round to the other boy, who he still could not put a name to.
"Public transport?" he asked. "What's public transport? Oh...buses and trains and stuff like that? They're not very good and are only really for poor people, but we tend to call them economy transport here."

[Woodstovia]

"Oh, erm okay." Allen said before hugging her tightly. She had been acting very very weird recently but Allen was in no position to confront her on it.

[The greater Vakolicci Haven]

"That's better," Alicia said. "It's nice to be able to tell someone to do keep you warm and they just do it. Some people see something in it." She laughed, attempting to burrow deeper into him. "As if I'd even like someone like you."

[South New Caledonia]

I would imagine that there must be something wrong with this system if it is so cheap, are there many delays?"- Michael interrogated the boy about the public transport system in Celeria while experiencing a culture-shock.

[Geara]

Andrew sat, oblivious to the discussion pointed at him. Instead, he busied himself with a luxurious yawn and rubbed his eyes. Still on the floor, he folded the blanket into a small square and stood, composing himself.

"Greetings, Ms. Maria, Ms. Si." Andrew said bowing. "It seems that I fell asleep here last night, you will of course excuse my impertinence."

He was now completely awake and painfully aware that he was wearing his nightclothes, even though they were basically the same as his normal uniform. Cyborg, the word had little meaning to Andrew, but he already had developed a profound distrust of the Celeri and their cruel ways. Si, on the other hand, well, what could he say about her, except that their paths happened to coincide?

[The greater Vakolicci Haven]

"We've all fallen asleep in the hallway before," Maria told Andrew. "It's because of our good friend alcohol. He's such a dear friend of mine, but sometimes he does convince me to do interesting things."

"We drive cars," Elosqir said dryly. "And by poor I mean the poorest of the poor. Getting rid of a lot of the safety regulations lowered the price of cars down a lot, and since they're all computer-controlled, their's no need for insurance or a license."

[Valaran]

"A cyborg? That's interesting. I've heard tales, but its rather different than actually meeting one." her eyes looked at maria with curiosity as they greeted each other. Si laughed. "I wouldn't recommend you try it then, Maria. It is very bad idea."


She looked back on hearing Andrew speak again. The bow made her blush very faintly (such things were more noticeable on her pale features). It was not that no one had bowed to her before. On the contrary she often came to expect such an action, even from those of the similar ages. It was more the pure sincerity he put into the motion, the absence of any expected subservience, but genuine humbleness. She'd never seen that before.

"It wasn't impertinent at all, Andrew."

[Prussio]

"Pleasure's all mine. You sure are.....different." she commented, placing a hand to her chin, a puzzled look on her face.

"Oh, I find myself puzzled by this statement", he said to her trying to see what made him different. "I assure you I am a 'normal Prussion member of the Germanian gentry", he chuckled out at his joke. Finding nothing he could think of he realized Akane and the Lyrvaen girl had entered. "Akane, hello and good morning he said. "Also, hello again Fräulien Lyrvaen I see you have gotten accustomed to our surroundings", he said greeting her as well.

[Kwadai]

"Oh well....it could have been worse actually", Mewan said truthfully.

[Geara]

"Your alcohol is not good." Andrew said as a matter of fact, "It is poorly made of poor ingredients, but nevertheless," He said, turning to Si, "thank you for your consideration."

He stood perfectly straight, although he was not tall, he had the distinctive feeling that these two had enough sense of propriety to expect good manners. As careful as he was attempting to be, the left side of his head was tousled into deranged tufts of hair that were at odds with his posture. While his mind was alight with ideals of good behavior, his hair made him look like a recently awoken toddler.

"If I may, what exactly will be the nature of our excursion?"

[South New Caledonia]

"Pleasure's all mine. You sure are.....different." she commented, placing a hand to her chin, a puzzled look on her face.

"Oh, I find myself puzzled by this statement", he said at her trying to see what made him different. Finding nothing he could think of he realized Akane and the Lyrvaen girl had entered. "Akane, hello and good morning he said. "Also, hello again Fräulien Lyrvaen I see you have gotten accustomed to our surroundings", he said greeting her as well.

-"Good Morning, Herr Josef."- Akane grreted Josef and smiled at him.
-"Do you happen to have polon 210 with you?"- Akane asked him "It would be quite useful, I must admit Monsieur Josef."

[Valaran]

Si chuckled at Andrew's remarks, but caught herself. "No problem."

While he stood, she began walking to where everyone was seemingly gathered, hearing the chatter of voices "Oh good morning Josef. Yes I have, though it was hard not when you're all so welcoming." She let her gaze linger on him for a moment before going across the threshold.

[The greater Vakolicci Haven]

"Cars are really cheep," Elosqir said matter-of-factly. "I doubt that limo cost more than say...18,000 Dral, for a car that size it's not expensive."

"Yeah I'm a cyborg," Maria told Si. "Lots of electronics, built inside what's left of my human body. Can't say I regret it though, I'm stronger than you, and faster, and can remember things a hell of a lot easier."
Trying not to scowl, she faced Andrew.
"You were drinking what had been ordered as the most alcoholic stuff in the bar," she said coldly. "Of course it was poor quality, it's for people who only want to get drunk and nothing else. Anyway, we're going around the city to pick up some esentials for the year ahead. No classes until Monday, so everything's good. Are you coming along?"
