Alicia put her head on Allen's shoulder and sighed.
"I hope it will be," she said. "But it's a genetic thing. I'm sorry for all the things I've done to you, I'd say you can wear boys clothing again but then I might change and say the opposite so I've no idea what to do."

"It looks like I'd win then," Elosqir chuckled. "It's nice to be with someone who's not over 7 feet tall...or a cyborg. From a first experience, it's looking far better."

Andrea lazily swirled the water in her glass, watching the ice cubes collide at random. Maria was patent in her response, not entirely predictable, but also easy enough to manipulate. She took a sip of water and grabbed an ice cube, crunching it resolutely. The real question here was whether or not Maria was an opponent that would be satisfying to spar with. Verbally, no, there was something neanderthal about clansmen rhetoric. She was hardly in a position to outspend the ostentatious duchess, so it came down to a competition or a wager. Traditional Finian competitions between nobility were merely for the respect of the other, but since neither party was interested in the respect of the other, that would simply not do.

She swirled around to meet Maria's thrumming gaze. She smiled widely, a competition would do well enough.

"Ah, Duchess, please for give me, I was merely attempting to show the appropriate deference to the good Crown Prince." She said kindly, "But if you feel that your duchy is of more importance than the future king, by all means, interrupt."

Scarlett arrived at the academy after a long and gruelling plane ride from Woodstovia. She was late, but didn't care. She got a taxi to the academy and when she arrived she began to walk up to the main entrance of the school. Unfortunately some member of staff was blocking her way, he was on the phone and looking the other way. "You're in my way, move." Scarlett said in a highly aggressive and angry voice.

"My friend," Maria said coldly, attempting to stare down the insolent Margrave. "I feel that the importance of any state, institution or individual is merely conjectural; it is open to varience in its definition. How would you define importence?
Does Clan Schtenko have more history than Camelone? As an institution, yes I believe it does; as a people, however, most likely not. If not history, then material factors. Does Clan Schtenko have a larger military than Camelone? From what I have heard, yes it does. Does Clan Schtenko have more money than Camelone? In reserves, quite possibly.

"My my, you are delightfully funny, Duchess." Andrea giggled, "Who ever heard of such ridiculous things?"

The clansmen are so personal, they have no concept of state, of civilization outside of the minuscule operations of the individual. Had Maria been more considerate, she might not have spoken at all, comments so provocative as to ignore the very nature of the gentry would certainly ruffle the feathers of the nobles in Finium. There are underlying assumptions in every relationship between cultures and the Finians merely assumed that they would be left alone. The entire unification had been motivated by an institutional need for the authority of the nobility.

The effective Finian ruler is merely the one capable of retaining control, thus the only thing that would make a king ineffectual would be for him to lose his office.

"Really though, the only arrogance is supposing that position is meaningless." She quipped, ignoring the sinister tones of Maria.

"Whoever heard of a state that would allow its nobles to slaughter hundreds or thousands of its own people," Maria shot back, enjoying the challenge. "It does not surprise me that Finium has collapsed of late; how can its economy be expected to support such ridiculous practices?"

In the meantime, Kyle had just gotten around to finding his way in the airport. He had no idea where the school officials were, but they certainly weren't here. Not paying attention to where he was headed, he bumped into a man, knocking off his garrison cap and bringing him to a halt. Bending over to pick up the hat, he then addressed him, placing the cap back on his head. "Oh, sorry sir! I'm just looking for something..." he admitted, to this man, not knowing that this person was Oilo Salto, another student.

"However," he continued "I am very happily married. A little young to marry, but as they are the royal customs, it's good that I at least found someone I am happy with."

"Hey freak!" Scarlett yelled loudly, tapping the teacher on the shoulder "It's not my fault your parents don't love you and now you want to take it out on everyone else. Stop being a little bitch, and let your superior pass."

Frederick looked around as he was paying a little attention to the conversation but more on his surroundings as the people were getting more rowdy "Athair warum hast a bhfuil much hier?" He mumbled to himself 'Father why do you me here?' Is what he said in Camelonean and turned his attention back to the conversation "A nation should do everything in its power to protects its people from oppression and violence not have it brought upon them by their government which they should see their king ruling with the holy covenant of God ruling over his people as if they were his own children. Nobles are alive to spearhead the military, be the shock-troops and willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for the country, that is what defines a noble and a government." He said putting his two-cents in.

Sienna was absolutely crushed the second he said married, though she bit back the feeling to lash out. "Oh...." her voice thick with disappointment, "damn it...." She sighed and flipped her hair, getting kind of....unstable inside.

Noticing the young student- well, most likely no younger than Oilo himself- he quickly replied, "Oh, no, it's perfectly fine. Do you need any assistance?"

Kyle gave a beaming grin and straightened the lapel on his jacket. "Good. Actually, I'm looking for the Student Exchange program. My flight was held for a passing hurricane at sea. Do you know where they are?" he asked, assuming he was from here.

Oilo frowned for a quick second; not in annoyance, but in contemplation. "Well, I don't know where the program is located... Uldartre, I presume? I'm looking for it also."

"The feeling is is similar on my side it's nice to have someone taller than usual", Mewan said happily.

"I quite like short guys," Elosqir decided aloud. "more fun positions are available. Oh...do you think I should embarrass the King with singing?" he asked.

At this point, he spun around to face the rude, arrogant girl standing behind him.
"And just who are you?" he asked. "Are you one of those foreign exchange students? Something to learn; in Celeria, if somebody is on the phone, we don't interupt. You've a lot to get used to."

Scarlett snorted "I don't wait for my dog to stop barking before I tell it to be quiet, I shout at it when I please. And yes I am an exchange student."

"Unfortunately for you, I am not your dog, I am a teacher; and you'll be getting absolutely nowhere by shouting like that. I don't know who you are in your home country, but you're not a special case in Celeria." He moved aside for her to pass.
"The rest of the exchange student group is at a bar at the moment. If you're prepared to be civil, I'll take you their; if not you can find your own way."

"I'll be civil" Scarlett said with a wicked grin, a slave came up and took her suitcase.

"Very well," Lovarti said, scowling and pointing at a large 4x4 that was parked up in the large car park.
"That's my car," he said walking towards it.

"It's unfortunate, don't you think?" the King smiled. "If I was another noble, I would be able to have my way with whatever girl took my fancy...as it is I have to feel guilty after doing it."

Oilo frowned for a quick second; not in annoyance, but in contemplation. "Well, I don't know where the program is located... Uldartre, I presume? I'm looking for it also."

"Yes! Yes, that's the one!" He extended his hand. "Kyle Longsworth, Private First Class, ANNF. And you?"





Sienna rocked to and fro on the balls of her feet, her hand slowly drawing up to her bosom, where she had her gun strapped. She was kind of Yandere, really. Her hand shook slightly."Then why can't you do that now.....?" she inquired.

Scarlett giggled "In a big car all alone and vulnerable with a mysterious teacher. If I called the police right now who would they believe more?" Scarlett asked as she climbed into his car.

"Or man knowing Blacksen." Allen said, smirking. His confidence had grown massively.

"The police?" the teacher asked, tapping in the route and setting the car going. "We don't have police in Celeria, so who knows?"

"Because I've got to meet her some time tomorrow morning," Blacksen sid. "So I'm not staying the night around here...we're meeting some friends before her teams football game tomorrow."
