Cottura stepped forward after giving the King a bit of space; the students had no sense of space. Flipping her hair back, she greeted the king. "Buongiorno, Your Majesty. I'm Cottura Crumb; it's an honorable pleasure to meet you." Her black eyes seeped into the monarch's, seemingly pouring all the world's many layers into one minor stare. She had no intention of submission.
Though uninterested in meeting royalty, Cottura maintained her diplomatic air on instinct. In her home country the Oligarchy was barely associated with royalty- and how would this anarchic nation have a monarch? A rather... lax monarch, perhaps.

"Nor could I," Elosqir said smoothly, extending the kiss. He collected the drinks and guided him away from the main group.
"I think they need some time alone," Blacksen laughed.
"Of just rum," the barman responded, before shrugging and pouring the large measure, looking over at Alicia.
"He can have it," Alicia said, nodding before the barman offered the glass to Allen.

"It's totally hidden," Maria explained. "But if you're so against it, it'll take better people than me to be able to convince you otherwise."

Blacksen smiled, meeting Cotura's penetrating stare with a warm, happy face.
"Just simply call me Blacksen," he said extending a hand.

"A lot nicer," Elosqir responded. "I've a nicer face to look at than Blacksen's."
Blacksen, with his height, broad shoulders and handsome features, was turning heads amongst the Celari at the bar, but to Elosqir he could see a lot better.

Frederick chuckled "I can handle this stutter very well. Plus you're right I am morally against it as I believe man and machine should be kept separate from each other unless if it is to replace a limp lost in combat." He said though he was getting nervous about the two men close by.

"You leave it in hell to keep on burning away," Elosqir said, Kissing Mewan back. Cautiously, he began to move his tongue forward.

Si had misplaced her vodka and finished her cocktail, so on the king's kind offer she went straight over to the bar. A few moments later she had her own glass of rum, and she sipped slowly. It wasn't a taste she normally savoured, but in this instance the noble did. For once she could relax a little, and watch the buzz of conversation. She hadn't actually been able to do that since arriving in Celaria, so it was a refreshing change of pace.

Attempting a warm smile, Cottura shook the king's hand, not quite surprised (nor displeased) at his informality. "Good to meet you, then, Blacksen."
With that, Cottura strode out, joining the small group of students at the bar. She scanned the drinks, not content with the selection. Cottura took a seat nevertheless, and put her head in her hand, exhaling a long, deep sigh.

Still discontent, Cottura slipped quietly into a small corner of the bar. Taking out her cell phone, rather obsolete in the foreign country, Cottura dialed the number of the Board of Culture. A female's voice sprang up, monotone and professional as your local lawyer.
"This is Soldi Cannellini speaking for the Board of Culture, Crumb-Cashew, at our public number. Please direct to customer service at 11-000-0301. Ciao, and have a good day."

Punching in the numbers, Cottura lifted the phone up once more.
"Ciao, this is Grano Insetto speaking for customer service at the Board of Culture, Crumb-Cashew. Please record your name and location so we can help you further."

Cottura felt at ease- she had done this many times before. "This is Cottura Crumb calling, from Celeria, as an exchange student for the Crumb-Cashew Board of International Relations."

"Buongiorno, Cottura Crumb. Would you like me to direct you to the Board of International Relations?" Grano Insetto asked, cool as a cucumber. Cottura envied his ability, even as a simple spokesperson.

"No thank you. I'd like to request the registered cell phone number of one Oilo Salto, also an exchange student in Celeria, a Crumb-Cashew citizen. May that information be accessible at the moment."

There was a pause- then, a quick answer. "The phone number of Oilo Salto, arriving on a Crumb International Airlines plane to Celeria, is listed as-" Grano Insetto spoke the phone number, which Cottura hastily jotted down on a napkin- "Would you mind redirecting on your own? Unfortunately, foreign calls are not cheap."

Cottura nodded absentmindedly, then remembered she was using a cell phone. "I don't mind. Thank you for your time." Instantly hanging up, with no regard for formality, Cottura dialed Oilo Salto's number, eager to meet the fellow Crumb- after all, what else was there to do? Chat with the King?

Jonas smiled, pouring the drink down his throat and sighing. "I was more concerned about you trying to restrain me," he admitted. "You get people who like to do that, you know.

The kiss seemed to go on forever; it was smooth, passionate and intense in all kinds of ways. Elosqir held Mewan close and whispered into his ear "I love you."

Si looked directly up at him "Jonas Lenar Malino Claudius Login Reginald... ok I'm not bothering to repeat the rest, whatever you may suspect of me, I'm not quite as 'experienced' as you may think." Maybe the drinks had done that to her; Si was fine with alcohol but she had just had several in the past hour and that would have taken a toll on anyone. "Maybe I do like that. Maybe its a secret desire within me. But I have no clue whether I actually do. And yeah, I do doubt that without a significant amount of surprise or luck, that I would manage to overpower you."

Allen nodded, he took a sip of his drink before turning to Alicia. "I need to go to the bathroom for a second." he told her before standing up and leaving. He got to the men's toilets and waited for Blacksen, feeling very embarrassed about what he was wearing.

"I'm sorry," Jonas said, putting a hand on her shoulder. "I didn't mean that at all. It's just that you mentioned special occasions before, and I was worried that this counted as a special occasion. I didn't mean anything like that." Jonas could tell she was drunk, but this could go 1 of 2 ways he knew. Drunken pussy, or drunken fireball.

"I'm going to enjoy tonight," Jonas said, clutching Elosqir.

Blacksen entered the toilets as a few men began to eye up Allen's body, and 1 was even approaching him mennacingly.
"Leave," he shouted at the perverts, gesturing the door. Intimidated, the perverts did just that. As the door closed, he walked closer to Allen.

"Look," Blacksen said. "I need you to be honest. I'm getting a bit concerned about how my sister is acting, and I don't think she's treating you right. Just tell me what she's doing."

Andrea retreated from her assault on Blacksen and collapsed into a seat with a glass of water. She swirled the water around and watched the cubes collide at random. Bored! She was bored with the pleasantries of these people, they were all so puny in their respective ways--predictably violent or worthlessly passive. No one had yet gained her interest, if any of these fools were capable of doing so, she wished they would. Perhaps her expectations were too high of these plebeians.

"This is the fate of the nobility." She remarked to herself, "To be drowned out by the common."

It was a regular commentary of the Finian elite that the expectations of behavior is what defined the gentry from the commoners and here it seemed there was no expectation of manners of any kind. Thus, there entire facade was too boring to continue if no one was willing to match her phoniness with equal vigor. She slouched and continued swallowing the water, hoping for a brain freeze to alleviate her tiresome existence with fresh, sharp pain.
