Josef looked up lazily at the thugs before him wearing archaic armor. "Sorry, but yes that is correct that he was threatened however I'm not prudish enough to inject someone with chemicals in public", he lazily said looking at the soldier a brief smile breaking across his face at the idiot. "If I did, he wouldn't have had long enough to deviate from his task, it was a simple injectable tracker we use in Germania to make sure assistants don't run off with our money it dissolves within seventy-two hours", he finished explaining to the idiot before him. "Apologies, if it caused him a fright but Germanians are not so naive as to believe peasants can be trusted with more money than they'll likely live to see", he threw one last vitriolic saying at the soldier.

"If you wish to, you can make the boy get to his task so my day isn't wasted or you can attempt to apprehend me", he snickered, "but you and I have little time to deal with you and your men being dead." Josef stepped back to allow the soldier to speak back placing his hands in his coat pockets to see what the man would do. "Try it", he thought to himself grinning like only a Prussion could in such prospects.

Allen blushed at her words and suddenly the option he chose didn't seem like such a good idea. "Okay miss. Should we go shopping for clothes now?" he asked.

I mean a subhuman shield... and... and... and I hope your soul... assuming you have one... is sent to eternal damnation... and I am not cursing, because I mean this literally!" said Taras to Alicia, although he sounded more frightened than he did frightening.

"Load it? Ok I'll give it a go", Mewan laughed taking the gun and slowly (and surprisingly) managed to load it successfully. "There! How's that...I'll need to get better a speeding up...but for first time..". Nik meanwhile had also successfully managed to load his own weapon.

Slighlty earlier,

Si looked up to see Josef.
"Oh the one I have here is a sabre variant. But my preferred blade is always a rapier, which I didn't bring. I assume you like the Prussian Saber?"

She turned back to Taras. He's like a walking factbook "Ok. Swords were initially a staple of the knightly classes, nobles and mercenaries, back home. But that changed a long time ago, when we professionalised the army, where every many got a blade. Now though, its much more ceremonial." She swung the blade lightly "And fun."

Back the ~~future~~ present

Si largely ignored the stand off. She doubted it would lead to much. She instead walked a few steps out of the firing line and examined her weapon again.

"I don't think so," a voice came from behind them.
"Under arrest."
"Didn't you hear me?" the commanding voice boomed out. "Be on your way."

Suddenly, Maria stood their, ready to pounce.
"You are interfeering with Clan Schtenko business," she announced, flourishing a card. "If you have a complaint, I would urge you to contact Clan Schtenko through the appropriate means. Otherwise, be on your way, I am extremely busy and want nothing to do with royalists who think they can interfeer with our business. Be off with you now."
"Very well, My lady," the leader said, before he and his fellow marched off deeper into the mall.
"Wasn't too hard, was it?" Maria sighed.

"I think so," Alicia said, looking at her watch. "Are you excited? You'll be able to wear some of the most expensive clothes I can find...and it will make me very happy indeed." She chuckled, placing her hand on his opposite shoulder.

"Thank you, Maria", Josef said through clenched teeth visibly angered by her interference. "I thank you graciously for your help, but please refrain from doing so next time", he said somberly. "Did that boy run off with money or is he actually going to get my list?", he asked reverting back to his usual mask of grinning calmness.

Sienna holstered her revolver with a disgusted huff and folded her arms, letting her hair fall over one of her eyes. She had been really looking forward to this.

"He ran off with it," Maria growled back. "Next time, go and buy your own stuff, rather than fucking around. Everyone buys their own things around here."
"I wouldn't buy a pistol," Elosqir told Cotura. "I'd buy a rifle or at the very least a machine pistol."

For the next half hour, Alicia wandered the mall, holding Allen by the hand and purchasing a collection of very revealing female atire, and an utter lack of underwear, until she entered a store which catered to very alternative sexuality.
"We can get your new chastidy belt from here," she told Allen. "To make sure that what is mine stays only mine, if you get me. We wouldn't want you touching my toys, now would we?"

"Oh, then I shall have to recover my property", he said smiling again as he pulled out his datapad displaying a map with a blinking dot of the injected assistant. "If you shall excuse me, I shall have to teach some Germanian professionalism", he said beginning to walk in the direction the beacon on his datapad showed. "Filthy peasants", he said as he went along thinking of what to do to the plebian.

Sienna took a look at Maria and the others, then at the departing Josef, then back at Maria. In a split second decision, she decided to follow Josef out, grabbing her pack.

"Thanks, but I'd really rather have a pistol, I'm accustomed to them. Do you know of any well-working pistols, Elosqir? I'm not familiar with these foreign weapons." Cottura responded. She didn't fancy rifles, they were too long and bulky, especially when merely as a defense weapon. Pistols were used in Crumb-Cashew as defense weapons, and they looked a lot like the display weapon she had found.

Si, sighed a little as she realised the tension had ebbed. As expected really. She went back to pay for her stuff instead. After that, she deliberated following Josef. But she wasn't fussed, and it was nice to explore on your own on occasion.

Without a moments hesitation, Elosqir turned to Mewan and Nick.
"I'm going with him," he said quietly, before departing with Joseph and Sienna.

"A good pistol?" Maria asked, taking over Elosqir's conversation. "Semi-auto, fully-automatic, what are you looking for?"

"Oh...what do you need that for?" Alicia asked Allen. "After all, Celeria is very warm is it not. Some people here don't wear underwear...most actually."

"Um... Pani Sierra... I am sorry about the confrontation. I was very scared, you know. Anyway, I found out there is a shooting range in this building but it looks like we will have to walk through the pet shop to get there... and it is labeled "WARNING: No cages". I am okay with that... I mean no decent human being would keep their legal dependents locked up in a cage all the time, would they?" said Taras to Si.

"What? Don't be sorry. No cages, eh?" A dangerous gleam appeared in Si's gaze as she finished paying. "Well, you can show me how that weapon of yours works then. Just in case.... But I did also want to see where Josef was going. We'll have to take a detour then. Come along Taras, we need to catch up." Sheathing her sword and putting the gun-Axe hybrid in her satchel, she took his hand and strode forwards, building up a powerful pace.

Alicia wrapped Allen in a long, tight embrace.
"Noone really wears underwear in Celeria, particularly at this time," she told him. "I certainly never do. Anyway...the agreement was revealing female clothing. I may let you wear your normal male clothing on weekends if you behave well, is that better?"

"Why are you following along with me Sienna?", he asked to the girl as he made his way for the signal. He looked back to see girl giving a grin and wink as he set off to try and find his thief.

After a while he realized more followed him. Quickly turning on his heels he said, "This is just a gentleman's matter, I assure you nothing too horrifying will happen." He grinned at that last part as he realized what he wanted to do turning back around he shed off his white medical corps jacket and ran through the crowds of people attempting to lose his pursuers. "Gentleman can be such rough creatures after all", he snickered in thought as he attempted to try and disappear and find the thief.
