Nation name: Sa’vahnna Eyukate Kai’Tozzo Nkai Dai Hyailoza (The Sa'vahnnese Eyukate of Yalos)

Students name: Psna-Eyuka Kyuona II zi S'ua Chiito (Half-Empress, Kyuoka the II of S'ua Chiito)

Age and date of birth: 16 years old.

Appearance (detailed description highly preferable): Kyuoka the II, as the daughter of Psna-Eyuka, is a short girl with strikingly Asiatic features, Hailing from the proud Yalosii race, Kyuoka's hair is determinedly ebony, her shimmering, clairvoyant eyes are a rich, deep shade of pale brown, and her skin is beautifully tanned and surgically enhanced. Her hair tends to be tied in the traditional Zeiklan bow (several curves of hair tied in buns around little thin appendages of bamboo), but when let down, reaches just past her shoulders. She has small, developing breasts, and the scars of an unfortunate attack of acne blare across her forehead, in an otherwise perfect body of calculated proportions.

Personality: Kyuoka, who prefers to go by the name, "Kristy" is a girl of idiosyncratic tastes, and a big heart which is tempered by her conservative, affluent up-bringing. Having been raised as one of the Psna-Eyukas, or "Half-Empresses," Kristy has lived a life of silver platters, butlers, and fat cats. Rather outgoing and gregarious in general, Kyuoka is known for her tendency to think of and blurt out bizarre ideas and comments, her adoration of dogs, and her overly-competitive attitude. She prides herself in her Yalosii heritage, as befitting of a young Half Empress. Underneath these layers of her personality, these masks and ostensible traits, she bears a dark, sinister sense of gnawing self-doubt and hatred of her own station in life. She rejects, in secret, the values with which she has been raised.

Cultural details: Yalos is a unique nation founded on the river S'ua Chiito, several thousand years ago on the continent of Telrania, in Sondria. A largely pastoral and nomadic nation for much of its history, the Yalosii people were, unfortunately, traumatized by a number of imperialist incursions and invasions during the industrial revolution, all of which decimated vast portions of their population and subjected many of their people to slavery or rule by colonial oppressors. As such, the Yalosii people are prideful, aggressive and competitive, if perhaps xenophobic and cursed with a perpetual sense of paranoia. Yalosii worship the Sun as a god, and have been ruled by dynasties of Empresses, with women leading as powerful, aggressive monarchs. The Eyuka, which means, "Chosen of the Sun" is the title given to all Empresses of the Yalosii culture.

Yalosii people adore wildlife, as in they revere and worship birds (especially birds of prey) and treat their agricultural bison with respect. They reject environmentalism as an idea, but at the same time go to great lengths to ensure biological diversity and sustainability; they believe that the earth is sacred, denoted by the word, "Sa'vahnna," which means, Sacred soil. They adore fire, rivers and lightning, holding extravagant feasts and festivals for earth at the end of representative seasons.

The Yalosii have also developed a strong warrior culture, "Fukiita." The Fukiita code, like many other chivalrous codes of feudal honor and pride, is one that stresses rules of engagement, conduct during war, and stresses a desire to die for the motherland, Yalos. The Fukiita code is representative of Yalos' inherent xenophobia and paranoia, encouraging young men to fight a holy war against invaders, to gouge out the eyes of enemy prisoners of war. Sacrifice and retreat are prohibited. Fukiita advocates the rape of virgin female populations and other rather savage practices that are reflective of the horrors endured during colonialism. Fukiita, however, does demand that enemy children, combatant and not, be preserved and raised lovingly, not as captive populations, but as adopted children. This, along with Yalosii warmongering, has contributed, ironically, to Yalosii ethnic diversity.
