Name: Calder Keigwin
Nation of Origin: Kingdom of Camelone
Staff position: Teacher of mathematics, philosophy, and military tactics
Appearance (detailed description highly preferable): Calder is an intimidating man standing at 5' 11" with dark blonde hair that is graying and cut short, he has piercing blue eyes, and pale white skin. He wears a cassock and a clerical collar called a collarino and black dress shoes.
Personality: Calder is a soft spoken and quiet man who likes to have students lead the lessons and aids when it is necessary. He walks with grace and dignity and expects discipline and respect when he is teaching. Calder is fair but tough so he views all his students as equal until proven otherwise.
Brief biography: Calder was born into a noble house of the rank of Thanes, he met Ludwig when they were 8 and have had a good friendship ever since. He excelled in all his classes and believed very deeply in Camelonean ideals, when he went to university with Ludwig he was the best student earning high marks in every subject. After his graduation he became a well known intellectual in not only Camelone but also Plebian. A few years later he was offered a job to teach at the most prestigious university in Camelone, he was the best man at Ludwig's wedding and was Frederick's Godfather. Everything was perfect for him until the Camelonean War of Separation, he resigned his position at the university and joined a small army near the small border with Plebian where only a couple mountain valleys connect Camelone to Plebian. The only other entrances to Camelone are two ports. Calder soon proved himself a capable commander leading a brutal guerilla war against the Plebian forces trying to move through the mountain passes earning himself and his army the name Ghosts of the Mountains. After a few years the border was almost completely shut off to Plebian forces and the Ghosts of the Mountains joined the Holy and Royal Army of Camelone in the final push against Plebian forces and soon conquered the two port cities. After the war Calder along with the nobles and commoners swore their allegiance to Ludwig and Calder retired from military life and became a priest. Ludwig begged Calder to watch Frederick at school and Calder reluctantly agreed so he applied for the job.
Experience Level: Taught at the most prestigious university in Camelone for about 30 years and fought in the Camelonean War of Separation.
Any other information you believe to be relevant: He was told to watch over Frederick and keep him in line, is a Catholic priests, a Thane, and a speaks Latin. Is also Frederick's Godfather. Is 58 years old.
