Erik- Alright! Rangers! [The rangers with Erik and Ironhand draw their arrows back] Fire! [They unleash a hail of arrows and as soon as they let loose those arrows they already have drawn and notched another. They fire again in under 2 seconds] Iron, are you coming with me or with your men?

Head Healer-I will tell my lord once i return to him, but we are doing this not to just rid the virus but because we are allies and have always been allies for thousands of years. We would want our friends to die because of some disgusting virus. But your troops should be a little bit better now, the virus is still there but alot of the painful effects have been reversed and they shouldnt die now, but if the symptoms come back i want you to notify me immediately. I have to go back and inform my liege of the news and study this virus more, hopefully there will be more good news. I bid you a good day Empress of Yulan.

*The healer returns to the Elven King*

*Hazel leaves the tent and looks at the battlefield. After the men burned the bodies. The dwarven army leaves but 5000 soldiers and Steelfoot stay behind to help the Yulan rebuild and so on*


***Meanwhile in the South****

IronHand- Okay show us the way.

*Ironhand and his 600 men follow Erik*

[Erik leads Ironhand down the slope and to the farmland. They are spotted but before they could raise the alarm, they are killed by the undercover rangers and the ones still up on the ridge. They get to within feet before an actual alert goes up, but they are already flanking the enemy army and forcing them to retreat deeper into their base]

Erik- Push the attack! Rangers go and signal our brothers to get out of there! [The rangers following Erik and Ironhand run off. The human army begins to spread itself out in preparation to storm the farms and kill their old oppressors]

Of the the origional 15,000 troops that were stationed at the city, scarcely 6,000 remained fit for duty, and most of these were the ones that had been operating the cannon and mortars on the City Walls or the musketeers, crossbowmen, archers and mages that had helped make the siege cost the enemy greatly. The empress, of course had her honor guards, but they numbered only a few hundred, and the City Watch had only 1,600 troops. This left the city safe, but severely weakenened.

The empress looked at the numbers herself on a scroll. It eead:
8,759 dead
341 severely wounded
8 warships lost
567 civilians killed trying to flee the city.

"Not good. I pray this war ends soon."

[While the dwarves make their shield wall, the humans are running and dashing through to get to the royal army. They are quick and they reach the enemy in a few moments and begin to run them through with swords, spears, and some axes. Some rebels fall from the lack of armor, but most are to fast and to skilled. They flow around the enemy, feigning and parrying as they wait for the right time to strike. Erik is surrounded by 3 soldiers and has lost his sword. But when one tries for the kill he easily disarms and takes his ax, seeing their friend in trouble the other two attack together, but one falls with a well placed arrow to the throat and the other to Erik's new ax]

They have tested it on the Elven King Laiurivian Stonsil and all the negative effects of the virus have been purged from the body and have come out of the wound in a black goo, which has been cleaned up. With this new potion being successful the Elven king goes throughout the camps, going up to many of the infected soldiers, giving them the cure and passing it off to the healers. And then goes to see the Yulan Empress*

Laiurivian Stonsil-Ahh great Empress of Yulan, it is a glorious day for many people. After many weeks of experimenting and looking through thousands of old scroll we have come across ingredients that when made into a potion, removes the negative effects of the virus and forces it out of the body in a black goo, i tried it on myself and it works, i have personally distributed it to the healers and the sick. The virus will be a threat no more.

*The carrack comes up beside the cog and broadsides it with the newly developed cannons, sending it, and the infected to the bottom of the ocean.*

Arvé: That makes *cough* fifteen cogs lost... *Arvé coughs violently as a doctor removes a leech from his arm*

Doctor: *Cuts open the leech and observes a black goo come from it* It would appear that there is some kind of blight within your bloodstream. Perhaps with enough leeching it could be removed, but you may run out of blood...

Arvé: I would rather die than become one of those monsters. Do it.

*The doctor brings in a large basket of leeches and begins treating Arvé as well as some mercenaries,*

Laiurivian Stonsil-at the moment it's best we build up our strength rather than attack the creatures while we are weakened, we will need to rebuild the country and city, cure all who are infected and stand as one against these monstrosities, we don't know how far the influence of the monsters have spread but we will purge their sickness from this land and make this place become clean again, they will never rise up ever again

I agree, moving against them now while so weakened and disjointed would invite catatrophic disaster.
