Cole- And why should I care about the queen who has come out of hiding. What does she want with me then?

Ray- I have climbed most of these mountains that you see before you now. I have even been through the Wendigo cave once. I haven't traveled into other land though, I mostly was the person they sent to assassinate an important leader. [Rubs his burn marks] You can see how well the last one turned out. I was sent to kill this enemy captain that has been harassing our caravans and towns. He made himself a base deep into the forest around the southeast. We have sent several others before, but they never returned. Any way, when I got close enough to see their camp it was incredible. They have crafted a walls with the trees around them and set up a few pits filled with spikes. It was actually pretty easy to get past all that as they not set up many sentinels. But as I crept through the base I couldn't help to marvel how all the other rangers have died, most of them were drunk or passed out. So I got to the captains room, which was more of a log cabin and climbed in through the window. When I got a better look inside I was surprised of how well it was furnished that i never seen the fist hurling toward my face. When I finally woke up I was tied to a poll in a dark cave with a large fire blazing in the middle. That is when I saw all the burnt skulls around it. Then this big guy comes in through the mouth of the cave. He hits me around a few times and starts cutting me all over. That goes on for a few minutes or hours I don't remember, but I do remember him cutting me down and dragging me to the fire. At this point my entire chest and head is on fire and I am struggling to break his grip. I finally feel a bone in the fire, I grab it and jab it behind me with all the strength I could muster. I hits him in the right shoulder and at that point I take my chance and trip him. He falls in the fire screaming and rolling around, but I didn't stay. I ran outside and jumped into the snow to put the fire out. After that I don't remember anything, I just woke up in the infirmary in Haven.

[The ranger looks at Ironhand]

Ranger- I am Erik and it is good to meet you. The enemy is still unaware of our presence, so if you please follow me to the tent to discuss our plan. [Leads Ironhand to a tent that is in a little alcove in the rocks]
