The First state opening and General Election results were held today, as well as a historic law on conscription being passed.

There were 200 seats in the General House and 150 the House of Privelage

Election was also held to find a leader of the House.

The Leader's role is to oversee the running of the houses and is also entered into the House of privelage once their term is over.They also stand in for the prime minister if they are unavailable to sign law and legislation.

The First leader is John Armstrong, who was also awarded the Orange Order for excellent service by HRH King William.

The First Government won by a majority 0f 65% and are Orange Peoples Party, whos leader and new Chief Minister is Edward Le Marquand who due to illness was unable to attend the event.

The opposition led by Sarah Le Quesne of the Fair Ness party obtained 20% Mainly from the centre regions of the country including Boynestown and Slovan.

The remainder of the vote was split between Micheal Ogiers Liberal party and the Defense Party who wish to turn the country into a military state.

The Event took place in the nations capital of Donalsdon with a procession led by Royal family from the Cathedral to Parliament centre.

The king also awarded several members of the public with Orange Orders for Service as well as swearing in the chief of general staff.

Apart from todays law the first parliament meeting of both houses will take place tuesday with the Chief Minister in attendance
