All media outlets in the USSP are funded in part by the government, and in part by donations. This removes the possibility of the government influencing the media using their funding, as the media could still function by using donation funds.

Does your government recognize the right to self determination (Does it allow a state/district leave your nation?): Yes, but the process is very lengthy, and there must be a majority vote of 6/7th is each tier of the legislature in the district for separation, 3/4th of the executives within the district must approve it, and a referendum is called both district-wide and nationally. The district-wide vote must be 4/5 is favor of separation, and the national vote must be at least 1/3 in favor of the separation of the district. Separation is only final when all who want to remain in the USSP have moved.
