When the Civil War erupted she sided with von Hohenheim and the Revolutionary Army, using the Arbiters and Justicars as Guardians of the Peace protecting the innocent and keeping law and order in areas heavily affected by fighting and the breakdown of government, these acts saved the lives of thousands of people. Following the Civil War, Adelaide stepped down as the Guild Master and became one of the Seven Justices on the High Court, the Supreme Court of the Land. Months later she was given the honorable appointment as a Criminal Justice to the IJS. She now seeks the nomination and election to Secretary of the Court.

The diplomatic court "is only for case[s] that occur to prevent actions that would later warrant a trial in one of the other courts". It is therefore unsuitable since the action has already indisputably occurred and there is clearly a question regarding reparations for damages which is indisputably a matter for the civil court to settle.

Until there is a Chief Justice for that court, we can not have a case in it, thus it was defaulted to the Diplomacy Court which is currently functioning and able to have trials. The Diplomacy Court is able to hold trials as precursors to trials in the Diplomacy Court, which works in situations such as these. Did you even bother reading the posts that make up the OP?

This court may also be used as a go between in negotiations, or as a meeting to settle disputes before the situation is severe enough to be a Civil Court Trial. A Diplomatic Court Trial may be held as a hearing before a Civil Court Trial. This court is the only court that may not enforce its rulings.

To the Prime Minister, I ask that you direct your attention to the roster page and see that we have yet to elect our Chief Justices. The Diplomatic Court can hear your case sooner than later, where as the Civil Court needs more time so they can elect their Chief Justice so the case can begin in earnest. If you are not satisfied with the time for taking elections then that is rather unfortunate, but rushing the elections won't help either. Please be patient while this court holds the elections. If you are unsatisfied with the Diplomatic Court's ability to hear your case and defer judgement to the Civil Court when the Chief Justice is elected then it is clear that you are pursuing a rather unfortunate course. We have offered to hear your case once the Chief Justice is elected, and in the meantime offered to have the case heard by an Arbiter of the Diplomatic Court. That is all we can offer you in the present state of the court. Thank you for your persistence and to your desire to have a fair and just trial. We look forward to watching this case.
