Ya know, I'm a huge supporter of constantly learning new things; life is about education, and you don't stop learning,... but I would have loved to have figured out ages ago, before I started committing to photos, that any major character I create on here really should have more than one available photograph of them, so that I'm not always using the same single photograph I grabbed off of some men's suit online catalogue, or a model for a DIY cloak blog found through Pinterest.

Anyways, that's my shared words of wisdom for the day... Use photos of famous people for your leaders, not obscure, (culturally) well-dressed individuals!

Though he isn't a Sith, I find General Grievous to be the most badass from what little of Star Wars I've seen.

Grievous is awesome! I was upset, when I was little, that Kenobi killed him. I was also surprised when I discovered that he wasn't force sensitive.

Well, I started using prominent individuals (politicians and celebrities) after I started establishing my governmental details, but unfortunately some of my main characters are nothing more than clothing models... looks like I've established a list of killable characters!

Eh, I wasn't too done on him being not force sensitive. But he was a unique character. Pity they killed him off in the end. I would have loved for his story to continue on.

Don't get me started on Star Wars.... I loved the franchise since I was a kid, loved the Expanded Universe minus a few things here and there (Children of the Jedi series), started a love-hate relationship with the release of the New Jedi Order series, straight on hate relationship with Star Wars Legacy series, and had it redeemed little by little with KOTOR, TOR, the Republic Commando series, and the Clone Wars series.

I think I'm back to love again... as long as we don't talk about Legacy! I'm... okay with accepting the events of NJO, but it's hard to accept the "revised view on the Emperor" after reading NJO Series, Survivor's Quest, and Outbound Flight... I'm just not completely buying the "Palpatine having an ulterior motive"...

I know that there's the whole "everything EU is no longer canon" BS going around, but it's kinda stupid that they would take the 2-3 decades of content generated for Star Wars Universe background and say it's no longer valid just because someone didn't like something about it. Canon is canon. I know it might be that I'm just arguing over semantics, but Expanded Universe sounds better than "Legends"... Legends sounds like it might have happened.

The Heir to the Empire, Hand of Thrawn, and X-Wing Series were all really good. I just wish that they woulda done the smart thing and started making movies (like the new one) based on some of the novels.... Hell, I'd even accept it if the bad guy in the new movie uses some sorta "pretending to be Revan" BS (has Revan's mask or something), just for the fun Galactic Civil War Old Republic crossover!

I only fell truly in love with Star Wars when I found Antoine Bandele's versus series on Youtube, and discovered more of the EU than I thought there was and became addicted.
I'm personally developing a style of lightsaber combat for my Star Wars RP on here, combining Ataru's speed while taking away it's risky acrobatics, Juyo's powerful offense, and Djem So's Counters while still keeping mobility.
I want my guy to be able to switch from a rapid but careful offense to a defense based on dodges, blocks, and counterattacks.
Unlike Djem So, this style will be deveoped with speed in mind, and utiluzes a single normal Lightsaber, unlike Jarr'Kai dual-fencing which utilizes 2 Sabers. The Saber will also be one-handed. It's like Anakin's Blue saber except green instead od Dooku's Pistol-gripped saber for precise cuts or Vader's 2 handed Saber with huge blows in mind.
It'll be an excellent style that can counter any Dueling situation, even in multi-person duels. My guy though, against Blaster wieldees, will utilize Shii-en mostly.

I like Ataru (I think the acrobatics are awesome) and Seresou (the defensive nature is nice) the best. I also really like the incorporation of force-based attacks in Niman.

So yeah, if I was a Jedi I would heavily rely on force-based attacks and defences, incorporating seresu and ataru combat forms. With a purple lightsabre obviously.

Eh, my capital has a metro population of 73 million though its spread over an area of like 14,000 km2.

38 million is the population of Tokyo's metropolitan area; it could certainly be feasible (though I would expect a large population to offset the huge capital city).

By definition, the metorpolitian area is as far out as you can go. It comprises of all the industries, suburbs. Anything outside that is not "the city". Also, it includes things like satellite cities and towns.

Seriously though, I have to agree. While I did have to skim the hell out of the thread when I returned after that last hiatus, I didn't see a lot about individual ideas and platforms. I'll need to reread the PM Questionnaires again though, and get a better idea of how to pull ideas out of my potential successors

Hmm.... well, I'm still a little apprehensive on your original population. Theoretically your landmass pop density could be 3 billion, feasibly. I'm just worried about the high population, however you have already specified that you only deploy a certain number of troops, and your numbers for that are quite descent.... My thinking is that we'd have a greater issue if your nation wasn't aligned with the goals of the IFC, but in this case, seeing that you've got a lot of potential, I'm going to say that you're ACCEPTED Welcome!
