Also, Aviran, about the Gala, I intend to keep most of it as inter character shenanigans, and I promise not to ruin the Gala ... My hope is that Siofra Sheertir creates a nice contrast to Carroll Caomh's teetotalling, workaholic, reserved ways, and that it might help to bring out more dimension out of Carroll in the future, as my first point of contact with the IFC. Plus I may or may not be trying to develop some social dynamics on purpose for... reasons. Anyways, what it comes down to is that you have my word that the gala will not be overly disrupted by my character development and interaction.

We didn't use to. However we have a first-past-the-post electoral system for our districts. Which over a long time, led to two parties being dominant: the Democratic Republican Party (which was the first party in the republic, and originally ruled as a dictatorship for 50 years before allowing free elections) and the Conservatives (now the Liberal Conservatives after a name change in 1929).

I have like 11 political parties and somehow get labeled as "anti-democratic", meanwhile you run around with what's pretty much a dictatorship and get away with saying stuff like this...

Mmm... more like Pan-Celtic... originally Irish, but I wanted to be unique, so I went with Celtic tribes (that escaped the Romans following the end of Boudicca's revolt) that conveniently became Irish, Scottish, and Welsh. The differences between them and RL is minimal, except that they're all fairly unified (for now) and that any mistranslations I might do (as I do not actually speak Scottish Gaelic, Irish, or Welsh) I can dismiss as local dialect.

Geologically, yes and no. The land is a little more varied, as there are mountains, and plains, but some areas are very much like Ireland, or the UK.

There are also some larger minority groups, including a large Nihonese community. In fact, one of the Lords who currently has land titles for the province of Weneu is Nihonese (House Kusumoto) ... Cusc, I kept my promise to write in your Nihonese descendants from your wandering Ronin
