I hope this summit goes well, my chief of staff is attending for me, I know he'll do the best job possible. I really want to get back to day to day business. It seems as if this Coalition sometimes goes into a crisis mode, where the only reason it operates is because the world is about to end. :p

Eh, it's in opt in opt out kind of thing. Sometimes they're super productive, sometimes super dramatic, sometimes super boring. Just depends on the luck of the draw.

What's the point of attending a summit? You can't pass any laws there.

It's the one place to flesh out larger ideas that can't be simplified to a yes/no vote. And rather important matters in the region, that will affect all of us and give opportunities for certain nations to pull ahead (I can already say that it may be useful to come and campaign for certain offices and departments to be headquartered in your nation, where you have easy access to their services). And if you don't have any ideas, it's at least useful to vote on other people's ideas. It's an open forum, so you can amend and sign other propositions as easily as you can voice your own.

Also, Observers please attend the summit. One of our major talking points will be your status, what rights you have, and how we should treat you in regards to the greater coalition. It would be highly beneficial to hear from as many of you as possible on what you want to see changed.

Well apparently a lot happens in a 24 hour period, or a little more than that... sorry, making significant headway in RL (yes I know, on a weekend!) But I had profs to beg for references, and grant research proposals to finish :P... Going to join the summit, but first:
