This is the OOC Thread for the Alpine Summit on Women's Rights taking place within the nation of The Alpine Islands.

NOTE: Participation is serious in this event, don't go crazy or goof off. I will terminate your involvement almost instantaneously if you violate these rules. RP in a serious fashion or just don't participate. If you are a nation that comes with the sole intent of making public your record on Women's Rights abuses, save me the time of terminating you from the thread and just don't show up.

May i participate by boycotting the Summit? Since the very premise of the Summit is Sexual equality yet your delegate requirements state implicitly that Women would make the superior delegate at this conference. Since my nation's position would be that very little of my nation retains a Patriarchal system, Women serve in large numbers in most roles including frontline combatants in the military, there is no glass ceiling, and the military maintains a high degree of "sensitivity" with regards to war time conduct and criminal behavior (ie war rapes) so therefore the Men of Skibereen are obviously equally fit to be delegates because they are practicing the vast majority of goals that are topics of discussion. Not to mention my Islamic population the Progressive stances with regards to education and women in the Mosque ---versus the backwards Wahhabists.

So can the Armed republic of the Isles of Skibereen be counted as boycotting this conference based on sexual discrimination? Seriously.

Sure you can boycott from the confines of your nation, but if you show up to the conference, you will be arrested and diplomatic immunity won't save you.

Women should have the ability to make decisions affecting their gender. This isn't the Gender Equality Conference but instead Women's Rights. That is specific to one gender, and thats Women. If you have a problem with it, simply don't show up and don't clog this thread with your objections.

Short Bio: Queen Christina is the current head of the Kingdom of Revos, one of the Ten Kingdoms. She is a progressive ruler who belives that the current forgein policy of the Ten Kingdoms is in dire need of a change. Five years ago she was the High Queen of the Ten Kingdoms (the title rotates between the ten monarchs), and currently she is attempting to focus on reforming the judicary.
Reason for Attending: Queen Chirstina wishes to begin opening up the Ten Kingdoms, so she sees this as a chance to reach out. She is interested in the idea of equality for women, but it is secondary on her agenda.
