After several hours, European engineers finally figured out the problems with Hoofington’s sewer system. No enemies seemed to have engaged them at this current moment.
Shattered Hoof:
The riots in shattered Hoof continued to explode in violence. The gang and the Conglomerate finally engaged each other, the gang had little chance against the Conglomerate’s armoured vehicles and troops. They quickly pulled back into the mobs of angry civilians blending in.
Old Olneigh:
The advanced squads sent ahead continued to engage the Steel Ranger patrols. With the arrival of several more helicopters carrying even more reinforcements, the Steel Rangers fell back and disappeared entirely.
With the threat gone, the OLN began setting up their base. Their rotary force continued to patrol the area to ensure the Steel Rangers were indeed gone and did it try anything else.
Old Appleloosa:
The under equipped gangers were no match for the Equestrian Vertibucks, they quickly fell to the aerial death that the Equestrian Air Force brought.
With the gangers dealt with, the Equestrian forces did not bother setting up a base outside of the town. Instead they garrisoned several government buildings. Instead of patrolling, the REA kept a watch on the city due to the attacks happening around to the other Peacekeeping forces.
New Appleloosa:
After the raiders had left New Appleloosa, the Union had little to do other than set up more of their base.
Fillydelpia:
With the scavengers taken care of and the Ursa blind and pissed off, the Union concentrated their effort on the massive bear creature. After several minutes with concentrated fire on it, the Ursa fell to the joint Union and Australian air strikes and Union and NCR artillery barrages. With the threat gone, the Union continued on with the setting up of their base.
Baltimare:
After a couple of hours, the main Australian and New Zealand convoys arrived, quickly followed by several other supply convoys. They disturbed the supplies around. Meanwhile, the RAN and RNZN had deployed their naval assets to the Baltimare port, they set out to patrol the area for pirates.
Manehattan
The dead city was now clear of any threats at the current moment and the Federation sent a squad to be stationed at Tenpony Tower. The elite squad was from the Octarian Federation’s Heir battle group. Known as Jafari's Buccaneers. They were assigned to protect the heir’s sister from any harm.
The Northernlands
With the Tarakians decision to withhold the supplies from the NCR was met with outrage by the NCR commander. The General commanded his driver to take him to his command centre which was continently located in an old Pre-war manor. Due to his size, he had to be put into a rather large wheel chair to be mobile. Two lowly NCR troopers pushed him towards the communications equipment where he contacted the NCR command about his plight.
How could the Tarakians prefer the civilians over the troopers who were protecting them. They were just setttlers who are trying to tame this barren land. They needed the food more than these suicidal folk, his poor men were just assigned to guard these misguided souls until they came back to civilisation.
After a few minutes of angrily stating his case to high command, his request to take the supplies from the Tarakians, attacking them or blocking them in anyway was denied by high command. Including President Gawd, who said it was a "Fucking terrible idea, those guys have a lot of guns."
With his request denied the General stormed off in a rage, locking himself in the bathroom for the next couple of hours...
With the NCR troops gone and the supplies being distributed, the citizenry came out. The local Equestrian population did not trust these humans, they were strange creatures to them. Most of them quickly got their rations and move on with little talking nor eye contact, there were several in the groups who seemed to study the new arrivals. It was unknown if they were threats or just random citizens who took an interest in the new strange creatures that now wandered the streets armed.
In the midsts of the frenzy to get their fill, several groups had moved into position. This new force was a threat to the Steel Rangers and they were about to test the limits of these interlopers.
Within minutes machine-gun fire, grenades, missiles and mortar shells filled the streets. Heavy machine guns and anti air rockets were fired at the Tarkian Aircraft in and attempt to prevent them from supporting the ground forces.
The tanks found themselves under heavy fire, missiles were constantly fired at them. Luckily for the tanks, most of the enemy's stockpile was made out of High Explosive warheads, more suited for taking out clusters of infantry.
Meanwhile the infantry found themselves pinned by the number of MG's the enemies brought to the fight while mortars rained down upon them. Unlike the other reports, these guys weren't targeting civilians, instead they were targeting military targets only. If a civilian got in their way, it was no loss to them.
The Ruins of the Republic
As the Tarakian scouting element reached the ruins of the Republic, the ruins was supposedly haunted by those killed by raiders who sacked the place. But those were all stories, but as they reached the road to Ponyville they encountered the Rear Guard of the Enclave attack force which was heading towards an NCR command post which was recently captured by the Steel Rangers. They had broken their truce and turned their mortars onto them. Several of the Enclave squadrons broke off to engage the Tarakian scouting element. They fired their light plasma weaponry at the Tarakian Bradley and flew around showing off their superior agility while going in for attack runs on the Tarakian vehicles.
Glyphmark:
With little progress coming from the protests, the citizens of Glyphmark decided to reconvene the next day. It was a very nice day and a lot of locals wanted to enjoy their day off. As usual the riot police disbanded and went back to the station and everything was all right. Unlike many other settlements, Glyphmark was different. It had a small army garrison while most of its internal security was handled by its police service.
The calm was not to last, the IJA’s base soon found itself under a shower of mortar fire. Soon after the mortars started, five groups of raiders moved in with support fire from machineguns, missile launchers and snipers in an attempt to keep the Japanese infantry pinned. Meanwhile several support groups fired into the skies to keep the IJN aircraft from providing their ground forces any support.
Though the attack force was not as large as the one attacking the Tarakians in the Northern Lands, nor as heavily armed or organized. The Glyphmark police force and the NCR Army garrison quickly mobilized with several police tactical teams and a squad of NCR troopers engaging a raiding group heading towards the town.
Hollow Shades:
With all the creatures dealt with and seemingly most of the Paradoxian forces outside of the town, a large group of slavers started their attack. Unlike the other attacks, the slavers had only one support group intent on keeping Paradoxian air support away from their ground forces. The support group was made up of three machine gunners and a single missile launcher.
The slavers mainly used incendiary weapons, burning out potential slaves and keeping the NCR and Paradox on their toes. This was a highly mobile force with several slaver groups spread out over the entire town. Capturing slaves and firing upon both local and foreign military units.
Yanhoover:
As the Nerothians was planning their assault and their defences, the Enclave took the opportunity to cause as much havoc as possible. Several NCR and Nerothian squads found themselves pinned down and the water purification plant was fired upon by several heavy weapons team. Meanwhile the Nerothian ships found themselves strafed by several vertibucks equipped with heavy weapons.
Ponyville:
With no reinforcements in sight, the NCR dug in. The constant bombardment from several mortars died down after the NCR retook several buildings that were previously captured, liberating several stock piles of weapons including several light 51mm mortars. With light mortar support, the local NCR radio channels exploded with soldiers calling in enemy positions. The NCR was keeping the enemy at bay while their lines were further strengthened by more Applejack Rangers from Stable 2, who were also fending off their former brethren, the Steel Rangers.
The Trekkie scouts would find the NCR forces were completely surrounded, it seemed that a pegasi, highly mobile force with plasma weaponry flanked around the NCR’s line trapping the NCR In Ponyville, it seemed that the high ground appeared to be held by the NCR with mortars firing off into the Enclave forces.
Before several scouts could make their way towards the hilltop NCR position, they were spotted and fired upon by an Enclave squad, they called in more reinforcements and the Scouts found themselves pinned. The Enclave managed not to catch one lot of scouts who managed to reach the highest point near Ponyville, the Hill with the NCR command post.
As they approached the command post, the entrenched position’s automated turrets turned towards them and began firing, the squad would be forced to take cover in a nearby ditch. Several metal figures filled into one of the base’s trench, they weren’t the red trimmed power armour of the Applejack’s Rangers, they were the Steel Rangers. Three of them had Grenade machineguns which tore up the countryside around them. The rest of the squad had a mixture of light and medium machineguns.
On the edge of Ponyville, a squad of NCR troopers were dug in, holding the flank against the large Enclave flanking force. They were supported by two MG squads on the second floor of the building. The breaking off of several squads to engage another enemy, this peaked the attention of the troopers. They called for mortar support to fire upon what they assume it was the Steel Rangers and Enclave fighting against each other, kill two birds with one stone.
Junction City:
With reports of several attacks happening across the NCR, the states from Earth put several of their ground attack craft and bombers on standby, ready for orders. Currently 6 RAAF F-111H Aardvark and 2 RF-111H Reconnaissance aircraft were on standby for fire missions. Several other ground attack aircraft were also on standby, but it would take time for them to get airborne.
Meanwhile, the Tarakians had requisitioned several artillery pieces to support the NCR in Ponyville. Three convoys of trucks and self-propelled artillery began to make their way towards Ironshod firearms, setting up several kilometres away from the Hell Hound Sanctuary with the Tarakian forces there.
