INTRODUCTION

Hello, and welcome to the United Monarchist Alliance! We are a roleplaying group.

The United Monarchist Alliance is founded by monarchies for monarchies. It promotes Monarchist ideals, while promoting peace. It does not matter if you are absolutist or constitutional, we will support you just the same. The goal of this alliance is to become a place for all monarchies to become safe and secure from internal and external forces. This alliance has no capital, instead the cities where events such as summits and meetings will be chosen by fellow members.

This alliance has a mutual defense doctrine. This means that if a particular member gets war declared on them, the person is declaring war on the entire alliance. If a member declares war on someone else, the member can, and probably will, call in alliance support. Please note that our policy for this may not always be the same, but this is the general rule.

This alliance has a paramilitary force member nations could support and use. The UMA Peacekeeping Forces are built from member nation's donations. Member nation do not have to donate, but it is recommended they do for the safety of the alliance.

RULES OF THE ALLIANCE

1. Human nations only. No ponies or dinosaurs or aliens.

2. Modern tech or very early PMT. No FT will be accepted.

3. No trolling, or griefing. OOC hate will not be tolerated.

4. IC things stay in IC threads. OOC things stay in OOC threads. Don't turn an RP thread into a chatroom or use the alliance thread to make declarations of war.

5. Don't start wars without valid reasons. The less reasonable a war seems, the less likely you'll receive aid.

6. If you're going to make an IC post, please, for the love of god, use grammar and punctuation. OOCly we don't really care. If English isn't your first language, we'll be easier on you.

7. No 420 Blaze it. Seriously. Don't do it.

8. Try to stay updated about the current events.

9. Tell us if you're going to be inactive beforehand. It's okay you're going on vacation, or taking a break from NS. Just, please, tell us first so we don't think you died or something.

10. All decisions are final. If you do not like how something goes, please, do not throw a fit over it. Instead, see if compromise can be made.

UMA Peacekeeping Forces Description

The UMA Peacekeeping Force is the official Joint Military Force for the United Monarchist Alliance. It provides assistance to the member states of the alliance when they are attacked. This force will not actively search out conflicts and will only join the conflict if a member state is under attack by a hostile nation without a just cause for the invasion.We will seek out peaceful resolutions first but they may not always be available. The Headquarters will be within the Nation of the Prime Minister and troops will be split between bases in the Prime Ministers Nation and the Defense Ministers nation.

UMA Peacekeeping Force Policies

1.Nations Contributing Troops are encouraged but not obligated to join in any official UMA Peacekeeping Forces Operation
2.Any Nation donating troops has the ability to opt out of any UMA Peacekeeping Force Mission
3. Only the nation who donates the troops can control their forces, unless stated otherwise by the nation
4. This in NOT an offensive force, it will be used to defend member states if an invasion is launched on their territory. The mission will officially end after the defensive actions have completed.
5. This is a multinational task force that does not belong to any one nation
6. Troops will be divided between bases with in the Prime Minister Nation and within the Defense Ministers nation.
7.Use must be fully justified by the Founders and the Defense Minister (2 of the 3 must agree)
8. Any hostile acts between two member states will not be tolerated and the UMA peacekeeping forces will side with the non aggressor state or will not take part in the operation at all.
9.Any state who donates troops can withdraw them at any time
10. All war planning will be done by the war council consisting of the Prime Minister, Defense Minister and a select few trusted nations as selected by the Prime Minister.
