This is an utterly ridiculous proposal, and we will stop any attempt at implementing it. It is completely punitive in nature, with no actual sense of justice present. $3 trillion NSD is a ridiculous sum by any stretch , and annexing 85% of Lithuania-Latvia is out of the question. We are firm on these points; both are utterly out of proportion (this being said, the others are more agreeable).
sincerely,
signed,
Prime minister James Alstan of the Valaran Empire and is various colonies, dominions, and dependencies.

The confirmed death toll has been released, Lithuanian losses were about 85 million, mostly unarmed civilians

To the nation of Lithuani-Latvia,
We are utterly horrified to hear of your horrendous losses, and shall endeavor to help your shattered nation rebuild in a more peaceful manner. Our aid efforts will be expanded considerably, though I doubt they will be nearly enough to help with such a catastrophe. Our loan will be treated henceforth as a gift, and if there is anything else we can do, simply ask.
