Ahh, so they were about as socialist as the "national socialists" of Hitler's Germany. So sad.

Well I'm glad you liked it...XD.
I believe I shall pause and post tomorrow, maybe giving people a chance to post during her speech with their thoughts. Also I'm tired

Ahaha, will in that case, I guess I will edit what the teacher said to allow others to post throughout our night (it's nighttime at my place too, so I won't be around to mod soon). We'll have more than enought time for Anastasia to elaborate on her country's history in the next few days

You cannot distinguish a fascist from a socialist if one killed a group of ethnic individuals. There is discrimination as well in communist and socialist countries alike.

That reminds me... Who is the Co-Op of the RP? Didn't a bunch of people ask to be co-ops early on?

Yeah, but none of the others who offered to co-mod are in the RP now. *sigh* It was just the hype for them, I guess lol.
Anyone here would like to co-mod? Preferably someone not near the same timezone as me, that can godmod the teachers when I'm not around? xD
By the way, good post, Rhodevus. I only have one comment, citizens of Nuevo Meshiko are referred to as either "Neo-Meshikan" or, less frequently, "Nuevo Meshikan."
"Meshikan" alone is rarely used because it is more associated with the previous Sultanate (which was more of a slowly currupting monarchy) and with the old Meshikan Empire.

A true socialist wouldn't resort to genocide to get his way, though. That's facism you're talking about.

The Rhodeves might not do that, though. I mean, the British called Istanbul Constantinople for centuries after it was renamed by the new rulers.

Yes, but Cylleans have only ever known one type of Socialism. The genocidal, dictatorial, oppressive kind. Sure, Najira could be educated, but right now she still despises it

Uhh... I don't get the comparison... xD
What I mean is Nuevo is an adjective in itself... referring to Neo-Meshikans as "Nuevans" is like calling the New Englishmen "New-ars".

Well the Rhodeves might still refer to a place by its old name. Apparently Meshiko was the name of NMs previous monarchy.
The British didn't call Istanbul Istanbul right away because they viewed the Christian Byzantines as the rightful rulers of that place. Perhaps Rhodevus has been slow to recognize NMs new rulers, and so most people still refer to it as Meshiko?
but no, Rhodevus is usually the first nation to recognize new nationsRodrania wrote:Rhod, I f*cking love you, man. <3

), maybe a slow economy (talking system-wide). Genocide is a whole other category of horror, and contradicts the very basic tenets of socialism, which aim to provide for everyone equally, regardeless of race, gender, wealth, or other factors.Rothuria wrote:Too Socialist.
