I'm not a member (observer) but if I can add in something on the account of "Cannibalism" I might be the strangest assistance you've had on that subject.

If the Cannibalism is Voluntary then I would not believe it should be classified as bad given the fact it was a voluntary action. If you are in disbelief one would be voluntary to do that. I'm a prime ecample of one who'd volunteer for that (I'm not discussing that here if you wish tg me for more). But yes. If this "Cannibalism" is in fact simply voluntary then I would have to say I see no problem in that at all.

Same with the Slave/ Servant thing. There is such thing as Volunteered slavery (again tg not saying my Crap here) in which I know of. So if it's voluntary I do believe it is better left as okay to do unless it us Coersion by the Government or Majority species. In which case then and only then should the action be taken against them.

As for the MSU, don't continue the charade anymore than it should.
I doubt that this will lead anywhere, nor will it go and do something.
I'm not going to want this to continue for this anymore. Our government has already told them of what we do. We have the business meeting here that was concluded, and that will be the end of it. Anhur, thank you, but that will be enough. I don't plan on coming back here, nor do I plan to tell anymore of this nation. I'd like it if this conversation no longer sprung up. Thank you.

*sighs* Everyone, just shut up! Alright? No one is getting kicked out. Frankly it would be great to have a tribunal RP thread ICly, but then everyone took it personally. Don't we have a disclaimer? The world of NationStates is a game. Our views in this game do not necessarily reflect our views in the real world. Just stop dragging this issue further and let us elect a Minister-President!

Re. The cannibalism issue, if we take a detour into the post-Far Side depression known as real life, Arwin Meiwes killed Bernd Brandes, after Brandes gave Meiwes permission to do so. Guess what Meiwes got charged with? Manslaughter, later upgraded to murder. He's serving life for this.

Re. The indentured servitude, I have that too. It's what my legal system is in part based on. I don't see what the big deal of it being mislabeled is, since it's basically slavery in all but name.

Apparently there were mentions of slavery/indentured servitude, genocide/assisted legalized suicide, and cannibalism/voluntary food offering, and some non-MSU people took it at face value?

And now FAnA got kicked out of his position?

Extreme damage control. We don't want this thing to burst into flames before it even leaves the ground. Once again, Swith saves the day. It's what she's good at, but it's heck on the nerves.

This is not real life first of all. Our way of running things can be different feom real court cases. Frankly I lf I were the judge I'd be the most hated man ever cause I would've let the guy go, but thats not what I'm discussing. I'm discussing that his nation did it on voluntary standpoints and thus should be allowed to without scrutiny.

As for the slavery thing. Voluntary and Forced Slavery are two different things completely.

No sense in beating a dead horse. I liked Stormwraths idea of a Tribunal of ome sort but if the dude wants to leave, i say let him go. I also suggest a different topic, as far as I am concerned and apparently Storm is concerned, the issue is settled.

The Human-Equine Alliance makes a good point. I'd donate my body to feed the poor if people were allowed to do that. But that's something that we can discuss as a group IC. I think it would make for an excellent debate. All of this would, which is why I wanted Furry to stay and contribute to it.

We're having a nice chat in the IRC. A couple valid points came up. Really, this IC issue drafting in the OOC should be reserved for an IC thread where we can draft and respond in character. It would cut down on the confusion. The best place to do this would be the OSF. I'll tinker with forums tonight.

The thing is, members need to register with the OSF and check it daily. There's no point in having it if we don't. Things will pick up now that we have a charter, including people writing amendments for the charter. That's the fun of it.

On a different note, we should celebrate the charter signing. My nation is known for two things: bioengineering and diseases... and parties. We love us some lavish parties. Would you like me to host a banquet thread for all our dignitaries. It would include observer-nations as well as people visiting from other alliances, and would be an excellent way to recruit more members. Let me know.

It would give a good chance for the reps to mingle and form friendships to make the alliance stronger as a whole. I'm for it.

Alright, let me do some planning. I don't like to throw threads out there without meat to them. I should have something ready to go by Friday or Saturday. It'll be somewhat self-governing, but I trust the people here. Well, except Prim. He has shifty eyes but his cute smile make up for it.

I can easily hold it on the station, also. That place has all sorts of nooks and crannies and banquet facilities... it's got romantic spots, and combat spots, and so much win! I just need to dust off an old notebook and tear out stuff that isn't valid anymore.

You and Cer I swear. I yank and rip things out of things and make a Frankenstein creation. (well, Shota and Yoshi and Blossom were completely original. Uo has a stolen last name.) but you and Cer can build some of the craziest and most beautiful things from thin air. It's a trait that i wished that I had.

Can Capris and Neera bring laser and hologram modules, and zarijuana (the Planeian equivalent of weed and/or MDMA)? If a Planeian is attending a party, it ain't complete without those two. :P

I think I'm going to make a separate thread for sign-ups, OOC stuff, and other things. Just so that we don't clutter up stuff here. I mean, applications are becoming lost in the number of posts and it's hard to keep track of things now.

Thanks. Keep in mind that he's been mentoring me since I was 18, so I've been at it a while. Plus I worldbuild to escape life's BS or to just unwind.

Planeia, sure. Let me get some things set up and you can see how it fits in.

Wouldn't it be better just to have more people to accept members? Though I guess separate signup and discussions could be ok as well.
