Zerinfriom I'm still very confused, and as the CIS Xeno rep, I need to clarify for my records. You've applied to play a nation (Demontronian) that doesn't seem to exist on NS. Gameplay in the Diplomacy forums (II and NS) is done with an existing nation/nation account. Your current nation (Zerinfriom) is MT/PMT. We do accept those tech levels if you want to join under that nation. We can't accept a nation if it's not existing on NS as an account.

Why not? Some people don't like their old names and can't be bothered to make a new account.

My guess is that it crosses the line into F7/P2TM territory? I've always been told that players need to play their nation in II/NS. They might post in OOC occasionally with a known puppet, but the IC is done with their actual nation.

But I'd like it if I could call a conference with the Anthro nations and the pony nations that Recognize the MLP in order to straighten out the issue of, "Is it anthro or ponies?".

I know many people on NS who have different aliases and types of country as you progress through the different tech levels. I have never seen a rule that says you have too play as your country at all times in terms of rp, it just so happens that the country I plan too play as in ft rps, and etc is a different nation that doesn't exist as an actual nation on NS. I do not see what is wrong with this. Thus I am not confused you simply misunderstood what I am doing. I want too start doing ft things and since Zerinfriom doesn't become the power that goes into space, and colonizes. Might as well use a nation that exists in my imagination, and start experiencing ft. Might as well start in a union as a start.

Zerinfriom, I don't believe Cer meant it was an actual "rule" more like a given/accepted practice in II forums, nations tend to play as their actual nations (so PMT nations play PMT, FT play FT, and so on. But not PMT nations playing FT, or reverse, or mix thereof). That's all. Its not confusion so much as blurry. I can see it blurring pretty badly if (one day) a player joins up in another thread you're in and found that you're playing MT/PMT rather than your established FT nation here. That's where the blur turns to confusion.

But again, not an actual rule, just accepted practice, I suppose. I'm a P2TM'er myself, so I'm not all too familiar with the mechanization and minutiae of II.

Honestly, before I made this puppet, I rp'ed exclusively all my FT through my main nation and just had my FT puppets as Factbook storage space.

Then I made this puppet and started to actually rp with it.
