Only a handful of people, including the leader and his bodyguard, know magic.

I try to keep magic out of my nation. But if the other party uses magic Anhurians will sometimes use warding and enhancement through chants to the guardian of their clan.

I'm evacuating my group (and any that want to come). I don't believe the MSU should get involved in civil unrest. While the Stormwrathian offer to provide headquarters is nice, it's obviously not in the alliance's best interest. I also have a personal rule - I don't engage in PMT/FT war/faction RP in II/NS because it only frustrates me as a player.

I'm going to regroup on an old space station. Others are welcome to join me. Those that want to assist their fellow alliance member in the anthro war are welcome to stay in the Summit IC (although it should become a second IC to avoid historical confusion with the actual charter business. We can close the Summit IC and Storm can make a new one for the war.)

If you want to join my group on the space station, I can fashion a thread for it as CIS Xeno Rep, rather than as my nation. I'm a very fair and experienced OP (I run one of the largest and longest running megathreads down in P2TM) and I'm patient.

No rush. I have more RP to catch up on. I wanted to get the two characters out of the lobby (since it was taken) and establish a small area for others.

Again, everyone, your characters don't have to join mine. You can stay and play out the civil unrest. Some players don't enjoy battles/war so I have the invitation open to them. Might take them to the old space station, or we might take them to that collab station in the "Sol" system.

Well, my PSDF has sent a ship to get my delegates and get the hell out. I offered in IC for the extraction mission to include any of the other delegates if they want to go with me too. We'll basically be just going anywhere but Zero's star system, and take everyone home if they wish, or just chill back at Planeia, though I'm not sure what else we could do there besides meet with the Elderly Council about what just happened.

Of course, my delegates are not happy that Stormwrath is using such cruel "non-lethal" measures and will definitely bring that up in the next meeting.

Yeah honestly if Stormwrath has such civil unrest and ethnic conflict between species. I don't see why we would base such an alliance out of their nation. Especially with such lax security.

If anything I think we rechristen the alliance out of a space station in neutral territory and allow each member to contribute to the defense and crew of the station.

There's one that's been used IC (over three years ago) that's close to Earth (parked in the system); we don't have to us it, but it would make a nice headquarters. It allows for heavy traffic (near an "intergalactic shipping lane") and is in an area that's protected by several species. I have the schematics somewhere on a thumb drive.

I would say stay away from Earth. Becuase I can bet you there are several nations on alternate versions of Earth and then you are inviting arguments of which earth. I would say pull a babylon 5 and go with a space station in a neutral uninhabited system.

We could do that. The B-5 Principle is always good. The problem is transportation for those which limited (or no) technologies. We basically invented a star close to the system (Prudi) thus no one could claim it as canon. The problem that arises is the Sara Palin Law which states: If I can see it from my backyard, someone can see me. No matter where we go, we'll affect someone's canon unless we go so far away that no one but the FT elite can reach it.
