"On a point of order, with respect; 7 votes in favour is unnecessary. We are not proposing a dissolution of the Council; only early elections, and Resolution no. 36 states that the Council has:

-The Power to call for early elections, for whatever reason Council deems it necessary, as well as the power to mandate and re-affirm the Secretary General hold elections on the scheduled date. Secondary clause of this stipend is only applicable if, and only if, reasonable signature of elections occurring in a timely fashion to their assigned date, are not present.

-:-The above must have the vote of a majority of Delegations present, at the time the call was issued.

"I understand. But if a new Prime Minister is elected doesn't he have the natural right to choose a new cabinet for himself? Which would effectively be a dissolution of the cabinet."

"It's a bit hazy I must say, because in essence you are stipulating the removal of the PM specifically and with that early elections to be held, since early elections cannot be held without the formal removal of the PM on specific grounds. While a non-confidence vote has a more direct implication to it."

"The Prime Minister must respect the vote called by Libraria and Ausitoria, which is being doing in a legitimate manner. His resolution now has 6 AYES. A seventh AYE will be enough for passage, and I will call early elections. I will label the move as a non-confidence vote and a dissolution of the Cabinet, but I will ask the new PM to retain the same Cabinet positions that were held by the members in the current cabinet."

Finally rushing into the building, the Katangan delegate sat down at his desk, and looked upon the council. He turned his head to the resolution, reading it over, and then calling his vote.

We will respect the vote then. However we must remind the ever so interesting Delegation from Ausitoria that you do not necessarily enjoy legislative supremacy here. No matter how many times you yell it out. I honestly think that this whole vote is nothing but disruptive, and to be honest, a power ploy. Every time we go through one of these fiascos it knocks us back a few steps. We're currently being productive, and the delegation from Austoria's idealistic view of what should and should not be does not hold weight here. You are not the speaker, no matter how much you wish you were. So please, I implore you, cease this behavior and let us all get back to normal business.

I believe that public sentiment has changed, due to reasons that have already been discussed both privately and publicly. This is in no way an attack on Elemental North or his Cabinet, merely a Coalition member-state practicing the right to vote and allow opinion to be heard, and discourse/debate to be encouraged. Should Elemental North choose to run for this position again, he will have the support of the Celisian delegation. This is simply a means to prove that he still has the popular support of the people. If he does, he should become Prime Minister again. If he does not, then unfortunately this is the way a democratic system works.

The Celisian delegation while we agree that this may be a form of referendum in itself, wish to follow the proper procedures, and allow for discussion and debate regarding the upcoming elections to the fullest degree. Not an impromptu argument, but a professional and democratic process."
