History of Your Nation- Starting off as a loose collection of confederation made from people who left their homelands because they were oppressed, shunned, or even hunted down due to their beliefs, race, gender, and many more they all left and either through luck or by some sort of will found a lone island in the Mediterranean that they all soon called home. The new nation faced many problems from both within and without. Many nations that have a strong religious ties wanted the island infested with heretics gone or empires that wanted Naval Monte in their collections of owned land and in the island the desperate groups often fought among each other due to their differences. Ultimately a sense of national pride emerged when time after time each invader came the early Naval Monteans somehow pushed them away, sadly this didn't stop the civil wars that would also happen in Naval Monte. However the nation saw the light of it's own Renaissance, and unlike the other renasissance in Europe this one actually left it's mark on society as a whole and not just the rich. Another factor that changed Naval Monte was a period of rapid industrial and modernization along with yet another new government being formed. After a... few (or a lot) of miss steps the country eventually became the nationstate that you see before you. Recently a few changes have and are to be made, one of them being the addition of a semi-presidential system.

A war, the Donetesk War, that lasted 20 years then ensued, with Araluan and Eyrelandian forces surrendering on August 28, 1803 at the Battle of Palermo. The regime ruled for 111 years, crumbling when the Liberation Rebellion overthrew the government, and Araluen reformed, as did Eyreland, splitting what was pre Donetesk War Hibernia. A century passed, until the Tomopolis Unification Pact of 2014 combined the two kingdoms into one democracy.

Story of Your Nation- minimum of one paragraphs)
Napier and Vonica was once part of the nation of the Expy Union. However, tensions in the nation and different political views forced it to break up into seven nations, one of them being Napier and Vonica. The Commonwealth of Miklonda, an overseas territory several hundred kilometers away, gained independence for a short while, until its dictator suffered a stroke, and died. It soon rejoined Napier and Vonica. The region of East Vonica did gain independence in the Vonican Revolution, and it is still a developing country.
