Per the requests of both the loyal residents of the U.C.S.R. and the I.C.L., we will allow a branch of this League to be created for further research into astral technology.
Special permission will be granted towards Ahrana to lead the operation and organize its importance and application on Orbis.

Portrait of the Tsar

Postby Davincia » Fri Aug 15, 2014 5:13 pm

With pride and admiration for our great leader, the first ever portrait of Tsar Nagol Belhakes was released to the public, now to be shared with the I.C.L. The Tsar's wife will also be releasing her portrait soon enough in the coming future.

Inauguration of Fidel Sozin, 2nd Premier of Northern Davincia:
"The circumstances in which I am forced to address our great nation is less than optimal. I know we are all saddened from the death of our former great leader, Garentialtia Belhakes. I doubt my legacy will match his, though it is still my duty to serve the working class of our People's Republic. This is why I would like to announce my plans to push the goal of Final Liberation to where it could have never gone before. While Garentialtia failed to install socialism into our nation (despite coming very close to doing so), this will not stop the agenda of the proletariat. As such, may the people rejoice as the new government and I bring forth full communism into our country!

I, Codzaic Archlys, as the ambassador of Northern Davincia for this great League, am saddened to bring forth the news of Premier Garentialtia Belhakes' death. He was killed in a car bombing this evening while traversing from his home to the central executive workplace. However, despite this tragedy, I am still proud to announce that comrade Fidel Sozin will assume our great leader's position in the service of the people. As such, here is a photograph of comrade Sozin at his inauguration speech:

Riots in Nagolgrad

Postby Davincia » Thu Aug 21, 2014 4:22 pm

While internal tension has been rather high for the past few days due to the War of Extermination, our nation was struck by a massive riot which was caused by terrorist-sympathizers. Luckily, it was subdued before anyone was critically injured, though several police officers suffered minor injuries. The protest rally started with its leaders speaking out against the Davincian government, and two sides of the crowd quickly formed. A large group of loyal citizens spoke out in support of Davincian leadership, while a slightly smaller group continued protesting it. The riot itself started when police officers who wanted to inspect the rally-leader were met with violence. The city militia quickly took care of the situation, however.
The three leaders of the protesters have been arrested and charged with conspiracy, treachery, attacking law enforcement, and creating unrest in a civilian area. Most of these crimes are punishable by death by the Davincian Constitution

Premier Hrishikesh expressed his sorrow over the events in Davincia, and vowed to end this war before anything more could happen.

Meanwhile, the F.B.D has detained at least 1,000 sympathizers and continues to detain more. Hopefully the citizens of Isaciaria will be safe once the sympathizers are detained.

Returning to peace

Postby Davincia » Tue Aug 26, 2014 4:52 pm

With the War of Extermination over, and the terrorists defeated, the next issue confronting the I.C.L. should be returning the U.C.S.R. to its previous condition of peace. All militaristic presence in the area of Mongolia are required to be extracted by international law. The terrorists who were caught will be treated according to how their captor's nation decides, and then we begin reforming and reconstructing what was destroyed during the war.

OOC: I think I'll join the WA soon.

Folks, I have posted here because I have a great vision of our region, as the time comes for WA delegate elections.

We, as a region, have confronted a lot of adversity and overcome it, namely events like raiders, Krasniya's negative thoughts on our region, and the constant struggle of maintaining order in our region.

Our wonderful region founded after the collapse of the UIN, of the old Cor. Krasniya took back his world, or moved it. But we remember that I led the UIN because I believed in our world.

But I was stripped of power. I believed that I could run a region, but I had everything taken away from me at a moment's notice.

Krasniya does not have baseless accusations against our region. Our quality since the collapse of Cor has gone to the dust, and our region is overrun with poor RPers and puppets. We've been left to be scorned and mocked as our region struggles under poor quality. I lend you an example- Reserka. We've had nations moving back and forth, and nations who have unregulated amounts of land.

I come to restore our region, to guide us back on the path of greatness. I will reform UCSR in manner that has not been seen yet. A massive reformation will take place, but I need you all. Venhalmuj, the Davincias, Ahrana, and the other powers have massive potential. Under my leadership, we can overcome our "awkward phase", we can overcome the adversity, and we can become the great region, the likes of the old Cor.

I promise, as WA delegate, to justly reform the regional rules. I have a plan which will greatly improve our organisation and roleplay quality. I also promise to take care of cartography, so that the burden doesn't rest on other members of our great region. I promise, therefore, to let go of some of my land as I increase map restrictions, improving the likelihood of newcomers. I promise to I prove the overall quality of the region, and turn it into a region that will not be laughed at by Krasniya, because we will have rooted out the sources of our problems.

I have so much more in store for our region as we look to pass this phase in our history, and I will need the most important thing from you: trust. It just takes your vote, should I join the WA, and we can work together to rise together as the United Coalition of Sovereign Republics.

While it can be universally agreed that Decenada would be the most favored choice for WA Delegate, we remain uninformed of its motives. Decenada has explicitly mentioned a "reform" of sorts. This concerns us, however once more details are released then there would be no reason not to vote for Decenada as the next WA Delegate.

Campaign for second WA delegate term.

Postby Venhalmuj » Sun Sep 07, 2014 6:48 pm

I accept the election date to be held on September, the seventeenth: 2014.

As WA delegate, I have not done as much as I was wishing to accomplish. I never revised the map-making, made a legitimate RP, or been much of an influential figure in the UCSR stage.

But, that is why I need another term, to unlock my full potential as the delegate of the fine nations of the UCSR.

My speech may not be long, and fancy like Decenada's. I may not have had as much experience in the region. But, in my time as WA delegate, I have learned a lot. I believe I can finally apply this newly obtained knowledge, to make the UCSR a better place.

We should establish more embassies, recruit more nations, and expand the conquest of our region to a frontier beyond Orbis. With the help of the other administrative nations, I will bring the UCSR to an all time high. We will no longer be a nation of puppets, and turncoats. We will become more legitimate, more united, and most of all, more sovereign, than we have ever been.

But, first I will need another term. So, if you want real progress, vote for Venhalmuj as your WA delegate.

This is quite interesting. As Founder of the U.C.S.R., it is against my better judgement to endorse either candidate, but that will not stop me from keeping a close eye on a candidate's campaign promises. The central principles of this region (cooperation, independence, and freethinking) must be the primary things that will continued to be held sacred. It is expected that the ideals that led to the U.C.S.R.'s existence will not be forsaken.

Second campaign speech: clarifying my motives.

Postby Venhalmuj » Mon Sep 08, 2014 3:00 pm

I have been told by a couple of sources, that my campaign speech was quite vague. I will try and explain myself more thoroughly this time.

The things that I have learned during my last term as WA delegate, are exactly these.

Nation building: I have learned how to manage a nation with great control over it's overall welfare. I am sure that even though I have made a few errors with my governing, that those mishaps will only serve as a lessons on how to better govern.

Roll Playing: I have learned how to roll play, and how to develop interesting political content. This leads to one of my very anticipated points of my campaign.

Culture: Finally, I have learned how to develop my nations culture into something that I can be proud of. I have done this through multiple dispatches about the original stories that I have come up with. I hope to wright stories like this about UCSR history in the future.

The things I would like to do for the UCSR are exactly these.

Recruitment officer: There would be a special administrative office, in which involves a nation, visiting other regions, and recruiting nations to join us. They would just tell the region members about all the wonderful things that can be found in the UCSR. I'm sure we could get a few more good members out of that.

Better Roll playing: The second new office would be an RP coordinator. These people would catalog RP suggestions, pick the best ones, and coordinate the utilization of these RP ideas with participating nations. They will also be able to document the history of an RP event, or assign it to someone else if they don't have time.

Cultural reformation: It will be ''mandatory'' for nations to record basic cultural events and facts in their dispatches or fact book. I realize that most nations have already done so. But, some countries (including my own) leave a lot to be desired when it comes to their dispatches.

Cartography reformation: Ushered in by an RP, this event will be a turning point in the UCSR history. The cartographer will be making a map of Luna, with divided territories based on land conquest. This will set a ''new frontier'' in the colonization of space.

I hope that I explained my motives more clearly this time. If you wish for me to elaborate myself more clearly, then you may ask freely, I do not mind.

Stay sovereign.

This answers the questions that were previously held by our government. It is truly exciting to see the consideration of our region's legacy by both candidates. As in Northern Davincia, today is Education Day. A parade of our accomplished students will be held in every major city within our nation, as well as a special ceremony to honor Garentialtia Belhakes after his death at the hands of a terrorist attack in the distant past. Another ceremony is placed for tomorrow to give our respects for late Prime Minister Jacob Strecklyr. Premier Sozin will be visiting mainland Davincia as part of his vacation (special access was given to the Premier to visit, despite our southern neighbor's heavy dislike of our country).

Campaign speech: reformation of ideals.

(In reply to northern Davincia) I would not force people to write factbooks or dispatches. I would just like it if other nations had more detailed history accounts. However, I do agree with your idea of combining these two offices.

(In reply to Isaciaria) Even though this combing of three offices is efficient and simple, it would put a heavy burden on the nation assigned to this job. I love the title though. ''Regional affairs officer'', it just sounds so important.

As usual, if you need more clarifications, just ask. And, as always: stay sovereign.

As the new Regional Affairs Manager...

Postby Northern Davincia » Wed Sep 10, 2014 4:33 pm

"The shock and joy of the inclusion of our withered nation among the ranks of the Administrative Nations is overwhelming. It's pleasing to know that Northern Davincia, among the first nations to arrive in the U.C.S.R., is now a recognized servant of the international community. I like to consider the U.C.S.R. prime examples of a region that has reached a state that few others can claim. Both Monarchies and Socialists here work together to strive for something greater, and it is humbling. Even countries not in that category still provide for our stitched coalition. Hopefully this cooperation can continue, and may we take sovereignty over submission."

Dawn of a new Orbis

Postby Northern Davincia » Wed Sep 24, 2014 5:17 pm

As one of the Administrative Nations for the proud U.C.S.R., we are proud to announce the ending of our first WA Delegate Elections. With open arms, Northern Davincia welcomes Ahrana as the new WA Delegate. Ahrana had fought a fierce campaign against Venhalmuj, and it is with great sincerity that we truly respect both candidates. However, this marks the beginning of Ahrana's second Delegate term, and therefore its last.

Unlikeliness

Unfortunately, this might not be possible. Lockiee has subtracted itself from the Ahranian Federation, ignored and insulted international law, and advocates imperialism. The I.C.L. will have to ignore this request, as Davincia must push forward quick military action along with the combined resources of this League.

Update: It is with much sadness that the majority of the Administrative Nations, including Davincia, have agreed to declare war on Lockiee. Isaciarian forces will be the first to attack and the Ahranians are expected to join soon enough as well.

Invading Lockiee

Postby Ahrana » Sat Sep 27, 2014 10:00 pm

No Soldier of either Davincia, Ahrana, Isaciaria or any other nation are permitted to enter Lockiee until the ICL has reached a Vote. All Chairmen of the ICL must have a Majority Vote.
Chairmen:
-Ahrana
-Nothern Davincia
-Davincia
-Isaciaria
-Decenada

4 out of 5 of the Chairmen must reach a Majority Vote if any Foreign Nation will enter Lockiee, then we must all agree on who occupy Lockiee.

Nuclear worries

Postby Davincia » Mon Sep 29, 2014 4:54 pm

In the full and proud history of the democratic process of both the U.C.S.R. and the I.C.L., I must say that the crisis we face at this moment is perhaps the most deadly on all of Orbis. Lockiee has requested the I.C.L. allow it to use nuclear weapons. While this would be constitutionally allowed, this would also be greatly devastating to our world. Lockiee is admittedly a hostile country and a radical in its own right. It is without a doubt that permitting it the use of such weapons would be suicidal to all those who oppose it. I hope dearly that we discuss whether nations confirmed by the I.C.L. to be hostile should be allowed dangerous atomic weapons. In the case that such does pass through, then I"m afraid we've just started a Cold War.
