President Ditmoshenko sighed, but smiled. He turned to the stage, to see what was next.

Ditmoshenko turned to Nygaard, his face devoid of any indication of emotion. A small smile revealed itself shortly. "Shut up." He was smiling as the words left his lips.

Ditmoshenko kissed Nosên's hand. "I must be going now. I'll be back."

The large man gets off of his phone from dwindling around for so long on it. The importance of the situation was over, so he had thought it was time to get the Awards Night back on the road.

"My apologies, Comrades. As you most likely know, we just suffered through a small crisis," he assures. He tosses some of the medals into the trash, while another man comes along and hands him new medals for the more following awards.

"Now, for our comrade from Vedria..." he pulls out a stack of medals.

"First, the Order of Lenin, for staying true to the Socialist Cause when times have gotten rough."

"The Order of Social Connections, by being the head of diplomacy, and always helping out the UL at tough times."

"The Order of the Red General, for your great nation always fighting for the proper world."

"And finally, the Order of the Government, and the Order of the Convist Government, for your nation working well within the UL's main branches."

"Give this man a round of applause!" bellows the large man, while patting him on the back to leave the stage.

Nosên clapped for the Vedrian representative. She was relieved that the crisis was over, but she was still uncomfortable.

Ditmoshenko, realizing that the awards have just resumed, froze in his seat, watching the ceremony. He clapped loudly.

Nosên got up and walked to the stand. "You put the apostrophe in the wrong place", she muttered to the awards presenter. She then turned and smiled towards the crowd.

President Ditmoshenko was asleep now, annoyed of the long pauses between awards. His head rested on Nygaard's shoulder.

By then the Chancellor had gotten back in his seat, medals in his arms, and was quietly awaiting the next awarding.
