"You never know, my old friend. Yes, Sara, would you like to stay with me?"

"We could hold a joint function, for all of our little gathering, after the awards. I imagine everyone will be tired and so some relaxation would not go amiss. But honestly, it is up to Sara; I would not want to impose anything"

"I also hear that my good friend Seward will be arriving shortly, with some more friends including some from the WER."

[Alosteq Diin Nastja]

"Thank you!", Nosên said, smiling back at him.

Nygaard came back at short while later. "I'm afraid there weren't any bagels, they being deemed not socialist enough. However, I did manage to find some rather bourgeoisie looking pastries. I hope you won't mind"

"They will do nicely, thank you", Nosên said as she took the pastries. She smiled up at Nygaard.

"Now, Sara, where will you be staying tonight? Do you require somewhere to stay? I have a place for you, in case of that."

"Why not!", she said. Sara took a bite from one of the Bourgeois pastries she was holding.

"I'm glad you like them", he said, returning the smile.

"A joint function after the ceremony sounds quite nice, actually", said Sara. "Maybe you all could visit the USRADN sometime. I think that would be very nice as well." She smiled at her comrades.

"Sure, I'll make the arrangements then. And, yes I would love to visit USRADN, and I've heard the Sonnie Mountain range is particularly spectacular, though I'm sure you will know better places to show me. Perhaps we can arrange this later, after the awards?"

President Ditmoshenko looked at his phone. He gasped. He took Sara's hand, and said, "Sara, we must go. There is a crisis of epic proportions, and we must go to a summit right now to end it. Please, let's go- we'll be back at the Awards before it ends."

"My friend Seward tried to solve it, with some help, but the Treaty wasn't fully implemented. Besides its a horrible business, and tempers are really flaring. Still though Sara, it is your choice, of course."

"I am truly sorry Ditmoshenko, but my country can not be getting involved in greater conflict. Riots are already starting in the capital over the Malovinian Civil War and the Liberation of New Kalayaan. Despite our victories in those conflicts, the people are furious over the new pro-military stance my government has taken. I'm afraid that getting involved in yet another conflict may start a revolution."

Sara looked up at the sign and nodded at Nygaard. "Alright, just forget abo- No, Ms. Peraask, just forget about it", Sara said to the other and off the phone line. She then hung up, and thanked Nygaard and returned to the table.

"No worries. The situation will either get resolved now, or it won't, and it would just lead to pain for your nation and yourself to get involved in that quagmire."

Ditmoshenko sighed. "Oh well. I have to go, to participate in the Summit. I'll be back shortly."

President Ditmoshenko walked back in, and resumed his seat in between Nygaard and Sara. "Madam, how are you? Nygaard, you? Anything much happen?"

"Great, actually. I'll be going back tomorrow. Now, since the Awards are temporarily suspended due to the inter-alliance Crisis, what would you like to do?"

"Absolutely nothing happened, actually. It was strange, everyone was just standing around", said Nosên. "Well, it's nice to see you back. How did the summit go?"

"There are many, many things I would like to do", Sara said as she smiled at Aaron. "But first, let's have a drink."

He went to the bar. "Two Martinis, please. Stirred, not shaken. Thank you."

He gave her a martini. He himself downed it in one gulp. "Let's go to the bathroom."

Sara managed to down her martini in three gulps, and thanked Aaron. She then took his hand and followed him to the restroom.

In the lavatory, he did things that he was sure would force him to resign, but did them anyways. Luckily, nobody else was in the bathroom.

He and Sara stepped out, both ashamed of what they had done in there.

His tie was all crumpled now, but not ruined completely. They calmly sat down, him next to Nygaard and her next to Prime Minister Moss. He whispered in her ear, "Don't tell a soul what we did in there."
