Deadlines are basically final warnings for those who haven't posted their entry yet, and as such should be posted when the vast majority of nations actually have their songs up and the commentaries have caught up.

The contest thread hasn't even been up for 24 hours. The Committee is not going to set a deadline just yet.

Which would be a silly thing to do if everyone's zealotry gets lost soon and the thread wanders on for too long (last WV was pretty slow-moving) and people start to forget to vote.

Plus, I do not think it is unwise to do so given that half of the signups have already claimed a spot. Even if it was a deadline set three weeks later, it'll be much better than actually dragging feet to set one in the first place.

Maybe I should have placed "deadline set for three weeks later", but nah, it proves in any case you weren't reading at all.

Using an extreme example like "tomorrow", and trying to put those words in my mouth is only wishful and deluded thinking on your part.

No, you're wrong. I am a Canadian, but I generally use American spelling except for some words like dialogue, or cheque. British spelling doesn't look all that pleasing to me, and American spelling is a habit that I have, despite how I hate the American government.

So yeah Britonisea, I used the correct spelling.

In any case, as a Brit, the noun was what Britonisea used, for example, F1 has practice in it.
