Prince Damien, Heir Apparent to the throne of Gavinium Magnus, has formally announced today that his oldest daughter, Princess Denise, born to his late wife Princess Helen, will become Heiress Apparent once he succeeds King Vincent I. As Gavinian succession laws are gender-neutral, and Prince Damien's only son Prince Jean was killed during the failed Fascist coup last fall, this decision was met with relief and approval, rather than chagrin by the royal court. The line of succession has been has been preserved for yet another generation of Gavinians. The princess is aged 8 at present.
