Suddenly this thread turned into some Generalite debate.

Thanks for the so called academic references, but you should know, secondary resources such as news report are hardly solid academic material, but in all, after reading all your rants; I think its best if we can we just all agree to disagree.If you think socialism/communist is the best thing in the world; well, good for you. But don't easily dismissed first hand experience from those who had lived and suffered under communist system.

I never said that socialism or communism were the best things in the world. They are not perfect, I just merely believe that those systems are far superior to our current system.
