Lelouche's Military is behind the times, for as long as anyone can remember, the steep mountain passes have protected us from hostile neighbor's
However as our population grows, and military technology advances, it becomes obvious to us of the need for a professional, modern military force.
A grand opportunity is available to those with talent and ambition, to become the right hand of the King, The Knight Commander of The Knight's of Lelouche. (the formal name for our standing, active military)
A call is made on the friends of Lelouche, and he who answers it will be well rewarded.

Goals and Outcomes;
Lelouche seeks to build a modern military capable of operating with limited numbers and greater force projection.
Lelouche is landlocked, in a steep mountain valley, for ages it has been protected by a single narrow mountain pass.
No Navy will be necessary
Armored divisions must be light and highly mobile (probably by air transport)
Air Force must be of the highest caliber and geared for close in infantry support
As air transport will be the majority means of military deployment, Helicopters will be used in great numbers and efficiency.
Troops must be equipped and trained at the highest possible caliber, and maintain maximum flexibility.
The typical mission for "The Knights of Lelouche"™ will be one of Peace Keeping, Urban Pacification, and Quick Deployment and Withdrawal.
A national police role is also assumed.
The Current Yearly budget is $73 billion Electronic Credit (National Currency of Lelouche) Roughly $49 billion USD at current exchange rates

Lelouche wishes to maintain a maximum of 1% of the population in active service, compulsory military service is the current law, between the ages 18-20 everyone serves.
There are currently no military bases or airfields, no aircraft or tanks, only a few armories in government buildings scattered in cities around the country side.
The military currently consist of barely trained militia men and police offices, with bolt action rifles and snow gear, the only "National Defense" plan, is to literally blow up the single mountain pass to prevent entry into Lelouche, and if that fails, guerrilla warfare, and insurgency.
