The Mercantile Assemblage is just that, a group of economically minded nations and corporations. Working, and trading in unison to derive the largest benefit, and thus profit possible for all its members. And to defend and protect the institution of free trade in all member states. Along with this, it also regulates trade between members, discusses price setting, and restrictions to be placed on certain goods. It is to be expected that member nations and groups shall share their technological advancements between each other. Even if it is only giving the items at a discounted price, without revealing the assembly process and make-up, or for certain items the design plans.

Finally, the funds donated or earned by the Assemblage. Shall be used to bail out, help members in recovery efforts when needed, and to finance prospective projects and explorations.

Note: We're a realist, modern day association, please only apply if your MT. Or willing to play within that spectrum.

What is to be expected of me?:
As described above, members are expected to share advancements in goods or economic practices, within reason. You should participate in the rp's we set up. And if your a storefront, it'd be nice if you would offer a discount to members. However, this is in no way required.

What will I get in return?:
Besides access to the shared proprietary knowledge, and possible discounts listed above. You will also become part of a much greater, and ever expanding trade network. And the many resources and connections of other members shall be made available to you. Besides this, you'll also be allowed, nay encouraged to participate in the many rp threads to come.

3. Must be MT, or willing to play within that spectrum.
4. No population exceeding your NS population.

Upon acceptance into the IMA, your nation/corporation will be granted a place on the International Merchants Council, and will be expected to take part in it's meetings and decisions. As the nature of your vote will be of the utmost importance.

You are encouraged to make a donation to the IMA, to allow us to expand our assets. And thus your assets. But this is in no way required.
