An International Dinner To Discuss Issues

"Thank you for your kind hosopitality, Mr Hess. I had a fine trip aboard one of my navy's newer vessels; the weather was good. I see you have some red wine. ...may I? It looks one of the better vintages from that vinyard. My, how I digress... what matters are their before us to discuss? I do not believe I shall be last to arrive, are their any issues any of us have? As a fledling state Maltropia has yet to commence any real diplomacy with her neighbours; we would be keen to found an Alliance with another nation."

"The role of this dinner is to discuss anything at hand." Hess said as he looked over at Ludo and Hugo who were both talking to Ambassador Lee. "However, we would like for all those who attend to have a great time in Gibet." An S.S. Trooper came in and whispered something into Hess's ear. Hess thanked him and motioned for him to carry on with his duties. "Ladies and Gentlemen, the Opera that was promised is about to begin. I know some of you just arrived so, fell free to join the rest of us when you're done. Also, I would like each of you to stay the night if you wish. There is much more we can do tomorrow." Hess smiled as he showed those that were going wher the theatre was.

King Brendan followed Adolf Hess, desperately hoping in vain that it was a play by a Maltropian playwright.

He also wondered why Knux seemed so rude.

"Well, we would love for you and your guards to stay. Of course, we understand your concerne towards us. However, we are all friends here. The battlefield can wait. I know of your name because we have an extremely good intelligence agiency." Hess smiled as he drank from his wine glass as he offered the other to Vladicoff.

"Vladicoff, please tell us about your nation," King Leviathan V said after taking a few more bites of dinner.

"I must decline the vine; I do not drink. As for your intelligence agency knowing my name, but not being able to stop me from entering the premises unavares, I am baffled.

The Vozhd, upon finishing yet another speech, looked oddly at Knux, cocking his head slightly 'This man is as rude as Dimitrinov*. Either that, or incredibly thick...'


*Dimitrinov: alcoholic secretary to the Vozhd, renowed for his disrespect towards visiting royalty

Sultana Kadijha had arrived in time to hear Adolph give the instructions and followed with everyone else. This was hopefully going to be a positive experience for her and her nation. For now, she followed along, holding the edge of her formal dress up.

"The show is to be The Phantom of the Opera. It is a classic and I find it exciting. Unless of course, any of you have any ideas?" Hess said as he led them to their seats in a rather large theatre. "Mr. Ludo, would you be so kind as to tell the acters we are ready. Unless, as I said, any of you have any requests." Hess smiled and then he saw a new leader who had joined them. "Ah, a new arrival. May I ask what is your name?" Hess looked at the new comer as Ludo walked off. Hugo only stood by as his leader sat down.

King Leviathan looked at Ambassador Lee. Ambassador Lee nodded in agreement. They both chuckled. It was all so exciting. The food had been delicious and things were going great.

"Ah, my name is Kadijha Temou, am the Sultan of Poshu." the woman bowed her head a slight and extended her hand to shake Adolph's. "I presume you are Adoph Hess? I must thank you for your gracious invitation." she smiled brightly. "And I adore opera, this is a true treat."

Lulukien Vin Yorgale rushed as fast as he could. He wiped some sweat from his brow, heavily annoyed with his daughter for once. He loved her with all of his heart, and would die to save her if ever she be in trouble. But she really needed to learn how to go to bed without Daddy's help. It seemed fun and cute, but when a party such as this occurred; easy to say. It was not all that amusing. He stopped himself in front of the theatre, feeling a great deal of shame for himself. He really should have tried a little harder, getting to the party. He practically already missed the dinner part! He walked in, making his way to where he heard the group was. The closer he drew to them, the hotter his face felt. He looked to them, silent as he found a seat.

"Ah, The Phantom of the Opera," smiled Brendan, "I have never seen it before, but look forward to it. I hear it is a good play. When it is over perhaps then we will talk politics. Good evening Sultana Khadijah, Lulukien Vin Yorgale, I hope you enjoy the play. It looks like Mister Hess certainly knows how to treat Heads of State!"
He nearly tripped over his dress uniform, he was beaming so much.

"The Phantom of the Opera, eh? I haven't seen this one for a long time. This is turning out to be quite an evening, Herr Hess..."

After complimenting his host, the Vozhd turned to watch the opera. But he was destracted by a small noise. Leaning forward, he saw Knux playing with his phone. 'How dare he?', the Vozhd thought to himself (for it was a crime to do so in Sebastianalandia). Taking out his own phone, he proceeded to interrupt Knux's signal, hoping he'd put the device away.

"Have you seen this," King Leviathan asked quietly to Ambassador Lee? Ambassador Lee shook his head. "No, I've never seen this." King Leviathan nodded. "Neither have I." They sat quietly, trying to ignore the light coming off the cell phone.

'Where is that light coming from? Why are those two rulers carrying around lamps?' thought King Brendan, as he did not use a mobile often and forgot that they had lights. "Gentlemen, I believe the play is starting, please put away your lamps."
He sat back further in his chair to enjoy the opera.

He too sat back to enjoy the opera.

"Thank you gentlemen; I would hate to have those lamps disrupting our enjoyment of the play. We would not a war on our hands either, would we?"
King Brendan smiled winningly once more.

The guards felt it was more 'losingly', however.

King Leviathan looked at Ambassador Lee. They shrugged and continued to watch the show. They had the feeling that these rulers were up to something, but it wasn't their concern at the moment. They just wanted to enjoy the play.

Lulukien nodded to King Brendan. He had seen the play before, but never had the chance to view the end. He shook his head at Knux and his cell phone. Not saying anything, but certainly reminding Lulukien why he never planned to get a cell phone. He had enough bad situations with people and cell phones. And he certainly did not want to end up like them. Besides, the only times he was called for was for issues that involved leaving all he had to do. And why waste his time calling, when he could simply use a vibrating pager; know he was needed and leave. Luckily though, there was nothing planned to happen (and he had a high doubt that there were going to be any surprises) so he had a high feeling that his pager would not go off at all tonight.

Rastko Pocesta, the highest diplomatic servant of the country, decided to come to the dinner.

IC: Black Lincoln limousine just parked in front off the great building, where dinner took place. Pocesta and 3 advisors came with him. It was a great honor to attend such a event.
