Monarchy to be Abolished: His Majesty

THE LONDON MORNING HERALD
February 28, 2014

HIS MAJESTY The King, Henry, has today proclaimed that the Monarchy Era in Great Britain will come to an end, decreeing that the Royal Household be abolished, allowing the populace to hold power in Britain and Northern Eire.

The incumbent Royal House of Wesley and its constituent Parliament (half composed of clerics, with the remaining seats elected by the people) seized power in December 2012 following growing discontent with the former Windsor constitutional monarchy over moves to limit democracy in Great Britain. The Church of England and Methodist Church of Great Britain merged to form the Anglo-Methodist Communion of Britain and Northern Eire, and spoke out vehemently against power abuses by Elizabeth Windsor, the former Queen of 17 countries, including Great Britain.

A separatist movement emerged, supported by many parliamentarians, with rioting breaking out in major centres. A relatively bloodless coup d'etat ensued, the Windsor family deposed, and House of Wesley installed as reigning house; quoted with the aim of standing for nothing but democracy. Anglo- Methodism was designated the state religion. The State Religion is Britain and Northern Eire's budget priority, receiving 27% of allotted budget moneys; and thus is the primary provider of government supported social welfare, aged care, spiritual/faith based programs, and public religious schooling.

The incumbent Government has, since its inception, amassed great support in the nation, with an approval rating (based on independently conducted polls) of 93.85%.

However, The Wesleys have decided that as the populace led to the reformation of Great Britain and removal of the elitist Windsors, the populace should hold power.

HM The King- a fervent Democratic Socialist- has stated in a press conference this morning that "Britons are the lifeblood of Britain and Northern Eire, and thus ought to be the primary leaders of this great nation. All power to the people! Its time to end monarchy and return full power to the ones that deserve it, you."

This statement, met with cheers by many gathered, paves the way for full a full direct democratic socialist government, a move welcomed by many as ushering in a new democratic age; but the decision has disputed by some of the fiercest monarchial supporters.

The Monarchial Abolition is expected to take up to five days to come into effect (due to talks within Royal and Government circles), with complete transition to people's democracy expected by the close of 2014.

EARLY this morning, outgoing Monarch, His Majesty, Henry, declared an amnesty for the disgustingly undemocratic former Royal Windsor Family, as well their associates, whom are currently under house arrest; provided they emigrate as soon as released and release all assets to the incumbent, true Government.

The Ganosian Government shortly thereafter released a statement, declaring that they shall take on the Windsors as refugees, a move agreed to by His Majesty.

Later in the morning, senior Governmental Officials met again to discuss the mandated Monarchial Abolition; including the transition to a semi-presidential system (People's Representative Democracy), the writing of a Constitution and the final goal of transitioning to a direct democracy within 5 years.

Preliminary decisions are expected to be made tomorrow.

THE Monarchial Abolition Working Party this morning released a Working Paper on the transition to a fully
democratic state: introduction of a semi presidential system, abolition of the House of Lords and peerages, removal of theocratic elements of legislature whilst maintaining Anglo-Methodism as The Established Faith (retaining public faith schools, hospitals, other organisations; due to piety of the State) and the final goal of a fully direct democratic state.

A Monarchial Executive Order will be released this evening, as revealed by His Majesty this morning, following the release of the Working Paper. The Executive Order will resultnin the official disestablishment of the British Monarchy, and temporary delegation of power to a Parliament selected Chief Administrator, prior to a General Election.

Many groups have voiced discontent at monarchial abolition, and have been warned from violent demonstration, under threat of sedition and riot charges.

We will not send any manpower, but we can help economically, and we can open our borders for any refugees escaping political persecution if needed. We would also like to know a few things about the current regime:

1. What sorts of civil rights are denied to your people?
2. What is the state of income inequality in your nation?

AT 8.00PM last night, Henry Wesley stood down as monarch of Britain and Northern Eire, leaving the temporary running of the nation to the Transitory Ruling Council, chaired by Yosef McCulloch, chosen in an emergency session prior to its dissolution.

Next Monday, the draft Constitution will be put to the populace in a referendum. Copies are being distributed over the weekend for the populace's review prior to the referendum.

If the referendum is passed by the mandated 85% majority, it shall pass into effect, and general elections will be help as soon as practicable.

Several Ballot Officers of The British Electoral Office have expressed concern regarding the short notice of the referendum and impending general election; and thus has called for volunteers from the populace and/or electoral officers from other nations to aid in the distribution, collecting, and counting of ballots, the distribution of how-to-vote materials and the contacting of those not registered on the electoral roll to encourage registration.

Candidates planning to contest the General Election have already begun campaigning, though, currently, with limited platforms. A wide roll out of campaign advertising materials is expected over the weekend and I'm the coming weeks.

In related news, mild peaceful demonstrations, supervised by members of the British Self Defence Forces, have broken out in many major centres expressing their concern over Monarchial Abolition. Henry Wesley assured the protesters in his abolition speech that it was in their best interests.

No violent demonstrations have been reported.

After weeks of delays due to British Electoral Commission concerns regarding logistics, the date for the Referendum to adopt the new Constitution has been confirmed this morning by Chairman McCulloch in his weekly address.
"Comrades, the Referendum ensuring that this great nation shall become a fully democratic Socialist republic shall occur on Monday the 25th of March. I urge you to vote in good faith, voting for what God and yourself know what is best -- DEMOCRACY! [the gathered crowd cheered]

In the weeks following, the first truly democratic Parliament & Head of State shall be elected in a General Election. You, Comrades, shall decide who will represent your Electoral District in the Legislative Assembly, and whom shall act as checks-and-balances, representing your Regional Division in the Legislative Council. Not only this, but you shall decide your Head of State- The President of Britain and Northern Eire! The President will then appoint your Head of Government, the Prime Minister, a Member of Parliament who can command the support of the majority.

I look forward to hearing of the results of the Referendum. Do what is best for God, do what is best for the Nation, and do what is best for yourselves collectively."

The Chairman left the podium in Lincoln's Inn Fields to cheers from the hundreds of thousands of pro-democracy supporters, packed like sardines in the Public Square.

Pro-Monarchy and anti-democracy groups also maintained a peaceful presence at the event, under the close watch of The Transitory Ruling Council Security Detachment, Metropolitan Police and the Nation's Self Defence Forces.

Campaigning for the impending General Election is well underway, with both Assembly and Council candidates out in force in their proposed Electoral Districts & Regional Divisions respectively.

The favoured candidates for the Presidency are Faylin Harris of the Democratic Socialist Party- leading the Leftist Coalition and Hirom Patel of the Nationalist Party- leading the Rightist Coalition.

The British Electoral Office has maintained their call for volunteers from the populace and/or electoral officers from other nations to aid in the distribution, collecting, and counting of ballots, the distribution of how-to-vote materials and the contacting of those not registered on the electoral roll to encourage registration. To whom it may concern,

The United Kingdom of Haguenau, while being a proud constitutional monarchy, is nevertheless a fiercely democratic society, and a strong upholder of democratic values worldwide. While we do not support the concept that monarchy and democracy are mutually exclusive, which is apparently rampant within your nation, we have also pledged to always respect the sovereign right of our fellow nations and to always act without bias in regards to the ideologies the citizens of a nation adhere to. Consequently, we will respond to your plea for assistance in your upcoming referendum, and it is with great pleasure that I offer you the help of our Electoral Office for the upcoming referendum. We wish to offer you planning, labour, and material assistance, all without any charge or strings attached.

We eagerly await your reply.

Message from the President of Flanders-Holland

To: The new Republican Government of Britain and Northern Eire
From: President Kyle Stoop of Flanders-Holland

The Republic of Flanders-Holland congratulates the new Republic of Britain and Northern Eire and their peaceful transition. We kinda envy you in the fact that you could become a peaceful republic without any bloodshed, but Flemish-Hollander history is behind us. We ask that you let your former king at least participate in some sort of way in the new government, or let him retire celebrated as a King who gave the ultimate sacrifice to abolish his own power for his own people. We would like to establish diplomatic and economic relations with your nation as well.

Just one week ago, 43 million Britons voted at 2866 polling places in favor of the newly proposed Constitution — a primary feature of which is the formal declaration of Britain and Northern Eire as a Democratic Socialist Republic, replacing over 1250 years of often corrupt and conceited, power hungry Monarchy. Finally, the results are in.

The Hon. David Lane, Chief Electoral Commissioner remarked:
"I was very impressed with voter registration in the lead up to the referendum, and the turn up on the day. The whole operation ran very smoothly, save for one violent scuffle in Glasgow between Monarchists and those to the cause of Democratic Socialism. The success of the referendum wouldn't have been made possible without Electoral Commission employees, British volunteers and foreign volunteers — especially those of the United Kingdoms of Haguenau's Electoral Office. The Electoral Commission looks forward to the impending General Election."

Chairman McCulloch also spoke regarding the referendum:
"Comrades, the blessing of God is upon us all. You have been divinely inspired to make the correct decision for our nation's future, the decision to become a Republic. All that remains in the this stage is to now elect our Parliament, Head of Government and Head of State. I look forward to the Elections, that will be held as soon as practicable. I would also like to take this opportunity to commend our most loyal and industrious citizens who assisted the British Electoral Office in the lead up to and on Referendum Day... I must make mention of those who disrupted legitimate electoral processes with illegal protests or campaigning, I personally condemn you for not acting in the spirit of democracy, you will be punished according to the law."

The Chairman also thanked The United Kingdoms of Haguenau for their exemplary support and assistance throughout the ballot process, and pledged assistance with Haguenau's electoral matters in the future if the nation were to require it.

Addressing a call from Flanders-Holland, a geographical neighbor, that the former King Henry Wesley and his family ought to be participants in the new Government or be celebrated, McCulloch said:

" The Most Honorable Comrade Wesley and his Family shall be venerated as champions of Democracy... For, guided by God's will, they sacrificed their power in favor of creating a fully Democratic Socialist Republic — what this nation truly needs; for it is the will of the people and of the Lord our God."

Anti-Republican Activity has died down following the referendum, yet is expected to spark up again closer to the election, to be held sometime in the next few weeks.

His majesty the King is saddened to hear the news of this referendum and of the apparent belief within Britain and Northern Eire that democracy and a monarchy cannot co exist within a state. It was also with a heavy heart that we were informed that this new 'democracy' has taken the form it has.
