Please have your leader wire me or Premier Relentante a telegram as immediately as possible if you are interested in having the Valkhynese Liberation Movement behind you. We will not send any manpower, but we can help economically, and we can open our borders for any refugees escaping political persecution if needed. We would also like to know a few things about the current regime:
1. What sorts of civil rights are denied to your people?
2. What is the state of income inequality in your nation?

"Comrades, the Referendum ensuring that this great nation shall become a fully democratic Socialist republic shall occur on Monday the 25th of March. I urge you to vote in good faith, voting for what God and yourself know what is best -- DEMOCRACY! [the gathered crowd cheered]
In the weeks following, the first truly democratic Parliament & Head of State shall be elected in a General Election. You, Comrades, shall decide who will represent your Electoral District in the Legislative Assembly, and whom shall act as checks-and-balances, representing your Regional Division in the Legislative Council. Not only this, but you shall decide your Head of State- The President of Britain and Northern Eire! The President will then appoint your Head of Government, the Prime Minister, a Member of Parliament who can command the support of the majority.
I look forward to hearing of the results of the Referendum. Do what is best for God, do what is best for the Nation, and do what is best for yourselves collectively."

From: Constitutional Council 30 Lamont Boulevard Angoulême, Capitale-du-Royaume United Kingdom of Haguenau To: Electoral Commission of Britain and Northern Eire London Britain and Northern Eire Date: March 22ⁿᵈ, 2014 Les Royaumes Unis d'Haguenau - Conseil Constitutionnel The United Kingdoms of Haguenau - Constitutional Council To whom it may concern, The United Kingdom of Haguenau, while being a proud constitutional monarchy, is nevertheless a fiercely democratic society, and a strong upholder of democratic values worldwide. While we do not support the concept that monarchy and democracy are mutually exclusive, which is apparently rampant within your nation, we have also pledged to always respect the sovereign right of our fellow nations and to always act without bias in regards to the ideologies the citizens of a nation adhere to. Consequently, we will respond to your plea for assistance in your upcoming referendum, and it is with great pleasure that I offer you the help of our Electoral Office for the upcoming referendum. We wish to offer you planning, labour, and material assistance, all without any charge or strings attached. We eagerly await your reply. Message from the President of Flanders-Holland
To: The new Republican Government of Britain and Northern Eire
From: President Kyle Stoop of Flanders-Holland
The Republic of Flanders-Holland congratulates the new Republic of Britain and Northern Eire and their peaceful transition. We kinda envy you in the fact that you could become a peaceful republic without any bloodshed, but Flemish-Hollander history is behind us. We ask that you let your former king at least participate in some sort of way in the new government, or let him retire celebrated as a King who gave the ultimate sacrifice to abolish his own power for his own people. We would like to establish diplomatic and economic relations with your nation as well.

"I was very impressed with voter registration in the lead up to the referendum, and the turn up on the day. The whole operation ran very smoothly, save for one violent scuffle in Glasgow between Monarchists and those to the cause of Democratic Socialism. The success of the referendum wouldn't have been made possible without Electoral Commission employees, British volunteers and foreign volunteers — especially those of the United Kingdoms of Haguenau's Electoral Office. The Electoral Commission looks forward to the impending General Election."
"Comrades, the blessing of God is upon us all. You have been divinely inspired to make the correct decision for our nation's future, the decision to become a Republic. All that remains in the this stage is to now elect our Parliament, Head of Government and Head of State. I look forward to the Elections, that will be held as soon as practicable. I would also like to take this opportunity to commend our most loyal and industrious citizens who assisted the British Electoral Office in the lead up to and on Referendum Day... I must make mention of those who disrupted legitimate electoral processes with illegal protests or campaigning, I personally condemn you for not acting in the spirit of democracy, you will be punished according to the law."
" The Most Honorable Comrade Wesley and his Family shall be venerated as champions of Democracy... For, guided by God's will, they sacrificed their power in favor of creating a fully Democratic Socialist Republic — what this nation truly needs; for it is the will of the people and of the Lord our God."

His majesty the King is saddened to hear the news of this referendum and of the apparent belief within Britain and Northern Eire that democracy and a monarchy cannot co exist within a state. It was also with a heavy heart that we were informed that this new 'democracy' has taken the form it has.
Sir William Hart
Secretary of the Privy Council
Sent and written on behalf of his majesty King George the V, King of the United Kingdom of Kent and his other overseas territories, Defender of the Faith.
