Queen Aoife Brighteye of Dyflin was earlier today injured by an Inyurstan gunshooter during an altercation at Pepper Atoll. She is currently believed to be in critical condition at a military medicial facility - we will keep you updated on further developments.

Following the cyberattacks against Brytene earlier this month, some of which included images which had been digitally altered to portray the violent mutilation of the Queen, she issued a challenge to all comers to attempt to replicate the images they had been broadcasting.

The challenge was accepted by one Colonel Armando Nuelle of Inyursta, a SACTO-affiliated nation. Upon arrival at the agreed-upon beach, an isolated location in the independent Republic of Pepper Atoll, the Queen confronted Nuelle with the images in question. His response was dismissive and so terms were agreed, whereupon the duellists would take ten paces before firing, and the duel would be considered finished once either side had run out of ammunition or had been incapacitated.

The Queen threw down her weapon, however, disarming herself and technically ending the duel. She instead challenged Nuelle to either walk away and so reject violence as a solution, or to fire upon an unarmed opponent.

Nuelle fired a single round of what is believed to be .45 ACP hollowpoint ammunition at the Queen, resulting in a serious wound to her right lung, before being shot dead by Lantern Guard personnel under the command of Lt. Col. Saigo Kuribayashi.

The Queen has been evacuated and is currently undergoing medical treatment, and the Witenagmot has not released an official statement at this time. Sources close to the Queen, however, suggest that the situation is currently critical and that the Queen requires intensive surgery.

29/06/2015 – Breaking: Republic of Zolevskoy Armed Forces Begin Preemptive Strike on Ordian Military With Intention to Cease Attacks

Tonight, the Zolevskoyan government and military have chosen to respond to an ominous build-up of Ordian military forces on the border of Kozelsk, by launching a preemptive strike that involves ground, air, and naval forces. The strike began when aircraft of the air force began conducting attacks on Ordian anti-air sites along the border, vessels of the Zolevskoy conducting seek and destroy missions against the Ordian navy, and artillery of the ground forces targeting strategic Ordian military positions. No casualties have been reported yet on the Zolevskoyan side, however it is estimated that Ordian casualties could be "medium to high"; according to Republic of Zolevskoy Armed Forces officers.

Nikolic Woronoff, president of Zolevskoy, made a statement regarding the attack just after it began. "Tonight, our military forces have begun the early stages of Operation Aurora, to prevent another attack on the region of Kozelsk, and to defend the people of Zolevskoy and other nations from the Ordian military and government. At 10:25 PM, June 29th 2015, our forces have begun to strike numerous Ordian military targets with various types of weaponry.This is in order to undermine Vasili Petrovitch's capability to conduct any attacks. The Zolevskoyan military has taken measures to minimize civilian casualties as much as possible, and will do everything in its power to prevent any further incursions."

The president also emphasized that he is willing to open up for peace talks, in order to finally bring peace to the citizens of Kozelsk.

Zolevskoy Launches Invasion!

It has been reported by the Ministry of Defence that the Zolev military have launched an assault into Southern Ordia. They stated they have not received casualty reports yet, but stated our forces will hold for as long as possible, and that additional forces are being sent to destroy the invaders. Any and all civilians in that area have been directed to evacuate. The President has not made a public statement as he has been dealing with military officials all day. In Ludnow, this news is quite evident. The Special forces that are garrisoned in the city have been put on high alert and are being stationed at many government and public areas. More news will be released when possible.

All Out Assault with Military and Lies

The Zolev self-proclaimed government has been at odds with both Ordia, its allies, and even its own people for many years. The roots of what now forms the current government stems from it's survival under Oltis Javak and a brief but costly civil war that claimed many lives. Rebel held towns and cities were targeted in an intense air campaign that put the entire rebel controlled region under siege. Civilian deaths from that short span of fighting and bombardment is estimated in the thousands to tens of thousands. After his departure, local strong-man Ahmadullah Bellic took over the role of leading the nation (What was left of it) and keeping the peace, which would include running tight security in the nation (at the expense of civilians) and continuing to combat opposition forces.

When the rebel held areas caved in, the majority of those who were not killed or captured departed the warzone and left for places like Kozelski, and other parts of Zolevskoy. President Bellic would later be notable for starting a trend among Zolev leaders, stubbornness, denial, lies and brutality. He completely refused to work with or discuss the security issue facing the region and denied such an issue existed. To ward off Ordian and regional criticisms he deployed more military units to the Ordian border under the pretense that Ordia had mounted large numbers of troops and equipment at theirs, though this flies in the face of every piece of evidence the Military has offered showing otherwise.

Because of security gaps and terrain, rebels were able to enter Southern Ordia (by several miles) until they were unexpectedly halted by our security forces. Interestingly, shortly after, the Zolev government offered a domestic rebel faction up as the culprits responsible, even though the President had stated that Ordia's claims of a regional security threat, and gaps in the Zolev security were false. It was because of this that additional units were brought in. Another piece that proves this point is recent news from Zolevskoy that broke word of a raid that took place within their own borders between government forces and rebels.

The Zolev regime, now under President Nikolic Woronoff, has followed in President Bellic's footsteps, but has gone further. The Foreign Affairs Office, responsible for our governments connection to governments across Atlas and the world, friendly or not, have been in little contact with their Zolev counter-parts. However, it is not long after criticisms and condemnations, that the Zolev government regime usually responds. They have delivered lies, while they put their military to work at provoking our country. When our Navy launched it's annual drills, their Navy responded. When our military launched drills in the heartland of our nation they responded, and when we did nothing, their terrorists tried to cross our borders. The Zolev regime is one that will not accept our criticisms, it's regime says it is willing to discuss peace but has made no recent contact according to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, it is a regime that is unwilling to work with others towards stamping out the terrorists, some of whom are loyal to them. With news of the war reaching government and military officials here in Ludnow, their opinion is clear, this will be their last provocation. From this point forward we will give them a response.

DOVENN CITY - The country is in mourning today with the death of High King Shane Jodocus Conchobar II. While the announcement of his death by the Crown's Office did not come as a surprise, as High King Conchobar had been fighting cancer for the past 2 months, the reaction was still one of great sorrow. While it had seemed that the cancer might be in remission, and the royal family was confident in the High King's recovery, the Crown Office revealed that the cancer had in fact spread.

Following the announcement, Prime Minister Ahearn spoke of the High King's reign and life's work. "High King Shane Jodocus Conchobar II, or as he was known to his many friends, Shane, was a remarkable man who was taken from us far too soon. Since he was a child, he had a heart for those less fortunate, especially minorities within our nation. It was during his reign as King of Lir, that he spearheaded some of the most progressive reforms, including the adoption of the Welsh language as a national language, LGBT and immigrant rights, and significant improvements to the welfare system. In 2013 he was elected as High King of Aigéantir, taking on the title, Conchobar II. It was a position, he told me, he didn't want, but one in which he could do the most for his people. He was a servant, a father to both his family and his nation, and he will truly be missed."

While the Crown Office has stated that the royal family will not be taking any questions from the media, and wish to be given some time to mourn, Rowan Jodocus, the High King's son, made a brief appearance, sharing his own statement with the Press. "My family will talk with the media one day, but not today. I stand here right now, a son, who has lost his father, but I will share some observations of the magnificent man who raised me, and in a sense, this entire country, as King of Lir and High King of Aigéantir. He was a candle whose flame burned bright, and all wanted to be near him, though with all candles that burn bright and hot, they often go out too soon. As it was with my father. His leadership kept the stability of the nation through many crisis, and I believe it will take a miracle to find someone to replace him."

The Crown Office has stated that the public funeral will take place on Saturday July 11, at St. Peter's Cathedral, and the High King's body will be lying in state this entire week to allow the nation to pay their respects.

As a journalist, I try to write my articles with as much objectivity, clear from my own personal bias, but I do have to add that I too am saddened by this news, and my heart goes out to the royal family as well as the entire nation.

This Day in History; Major Gas Explosions, June 9th, 1987

Resuce Units respond to gas explosion

A horrendous gas explosion ripped through a multi-story building in Yugolok, Starnikovo, causing one of the worse death rates in a single incident in the town. 27 were killed presumably immediately, with 4 more killed by flames and 7 more killed by the subsequent collapse. The town mourned the lost while officials tackled the issue of removing the debris. The explosion caused $817,000 in damage, and shook the town for months to come.

A plaque is in front of the now rebuilt building, marking the graves of those who could not be found.

A terrifying day here in Yugolok, as what appears to be a gas explosion has caused a massive fire that rescue units have been fighting through for six hours now. Casualties are assumed to be near 30 now.

At 4:12 AM, a gas main in an apartment complex in Yugolok suddenly detonated, killing many immediately. Emergency units arrived at 4:16, to a deadly fire that was burning upwind of 700 degrees, and still rising. Emergency units rescued 65 people while others found their way out. City officials ordered that the building be demolished if it survived the gas explosion, as they felt it would be safer to rebuild the complex than to make repairs. Federal Police have arrived to facilitate uninjured people from inside the building, and blocked off around the building so that essential crew could escape and get back in as needed. At least 7 have been rushed to the hospital, and 3 have been removed in body bags. We spoke with a resident of the apartment complex next to the buring complex, here's what she had to say:

My prayers go to those who have lost family in this explosion. I don't know what's left for them, their homes are destroyed now, these poor people are left with dead loved ones and no home to grieve in. My prayers go out, and I hope no more people are hurt.

Roskian Officials have stated that "emergency accomidations" will be made for those with nowhere to go until the apartments are rebuilt. Roskian officials have also stated to make a check of any gas pipe over 10 years old, and to replace them as soon as possible. As far as officials can say, it does not appear foul play was involved.

Gay Rights Riots in Maslov shut down by Carsodonian Police

Carsodonian Police take down and detain Gay Rights protesters ^

In Carsodonia today Gay Rights protesters met for a peaceful protest until Anti-Gay Carsodonian Nationalists showed up and began to antagonize the gay rights supporters. Which then broke out into a fist fight and even blunt weapons and rocks getting involved, at this point the Maslov Riot Police went in firing beanbag rounds from shotguns along with tear gas and engaging with batons and riot shields. The Carsodonian Nationalists seeing the Police getting involved started to run and give up, with that the gay right supporters took advantage and became more brutal towards the Nationalists. That is when the Maslov Police Force turned to the gay rights supporters and began to crack down on them and quickly stopped their aggression by brute force, causing 50-60 Gay Right supporters to go to the hospital and 100 more to be put in prison with 20 Nationalists. Maslov's Police Chief had this to say, "Maslov will not have this sort of thing be tolerated, people have the right to peacefully protest but that is it..." Amen Police Chief, Carsodonia's President Vladimir Voloski also had something to say on the matter, "Carsodonia is not a ground for violent protests and because of this recent outbreak the Senate and I have decided that Gay Marriage is to be banned throughout Carsodonia and any same sex relations shown in public will lead to an arrest. Kimi Ati, a young officer who, the previous year, had lost her arm to an explosion detonated by one of the last surviving members in an assault on the Brotherhood of Micheal. The young corporal was rushed to the hospital and after being on the waiting list for a little under a year she was chosen to receive ChosaTech's newly created bionic arm. The ultra lightweight arm was created using 3-D printing of the frame and advanced sensors and artificial fibers to read her muscle inputs and translate them into movement.

Our team down at ChosaTech's Care center was allowed to film Ms. Ati's astonishing recovery and her usage of the arm in everyday life. She says that "It feels a little weird, but hey, it's still an arm. And I couldn't be more grateful to have it." After careful deliberation Ms. Ati was released form military service with high honors and she says that she might enjoy going into the Domestic Services as the force's first officer with a cybernetic augmentation.

The arm, along singular hands, legs, and feet are expected to hit the public market in early 2016. A ChosaTech representative stated that not only will the limbs be appearing in 2016 but they will be dramatically improved from the simple test model that we have viewed today. With today's modern technology and a business concerned about helping hardworking citizens at the forefront of medical technology our standard of living can only go up.

Roskian Gang gets violent surprise after challenging Roskian Military Power

Roskian Artillery Truck fires singular round of artillery towards house

Roskian Gang "Young House Crew" recently posted on social media, challenging the Roskian military to an all out brawl in the streets of Roski. The gang had made comments calling the Roskian military "weak, unfounded, and inferior" on a post the night prior to a town waking up to the sound of gunfire. The gunfire was the sound of the gang getting their wishes.

A detachment of the 374th Mechanized Infantry Regiment supported by Operation Group 4 assaulted a mansion owned by the gang in Viekaimpolis, launching a surprise attack at 09:57 local time on July 10th, 2015. The town was suddenly awoken by the sound of artillery detonating outside the mansion, which cued a military assault from the air and the ground. RAV-9A1s were seen firing rounds into the mansion as Special Forces prepared to launch an internal assault. After 20 minutes of one-sided fighting, the last four members living in the mansion surrendered to Roskian Special Force, while the head of the gang was concluded to be killed by the initial artillery strike.

Local residents said the assault was shocking for two reasons. One lady, who wished to keep her identity hidden, explains.

The assault shocked everyone intially because it was sudden. There was no warning. We were drinking coffee then suddenly we hear a massive explosion in the distance. The main reason it was shocking was not only did it seem like overkill to attack the gang with tanks and artillery, but there isn't a single person outside of this gang that knew they were even here. So to see the Roskian Military suddenly attack a building, you have to think terrorism.

Did you know the gang had actually threatened to fight the Roskian Military in the streets, and as such were deemed a threat to national security?

I did not know that, but it doesn't really excuse the scope of the attack. It gives you A and C, but not B. I'm just glad there was no collateral damage to innocents.

RZAF Commander-in-Chief Releases More Information on Preemptive Strike, Denies Accusations of Launching Ground Invasion

Radovan Cihar, commander-in-chief of the Republic of Zolevskoy Armed Forces, spoke today about the preemptive strike currently being conducted. In his statement he spoke about subjects such as the previous war, objectives of the current war, and the justification for the strike. He also spoke about the background of the conflict and Ordia's continued attempts to blame Zolevskoy for beginning the war with "military and lies".

"What everybody must know first is that this is not revenge for Ordia's previous attack on Kozelsk last winter." He began with. "As people say, an eye for an eye makes us all blind. This war is purely for defensive purposes, and will remain that way for the remainder of the duration. We have absolutely no intention to launch a full-scale invasion of Ordia, and never have. Ordia; under the rule of their dictator, Vasili Petrovitch, chose to take advantage of the end of our 3rd Civil War by targeting us when we were rebuilding the damage caused by the Zolevskoy National Party terrorists. Because of that, casualties in their previous invasion were somewhat higher than we expected. It is clear that the Ordians only strike when their target is weak; but in this case, that target bit back and won. Petrovitch claims to have won the 1st war in Kozelsk, but he fails to see what our objectives were. That objective was to defend Kozelsk from being invaded and annexed. Zolevskoy still maintains control of the region and always has; which proves that the war ended in a victory for our nation." He then went on to explain what the objectives of the Zolevskoyan military are.

"As for the objectives of our military right now, they are nearly the same as the previous war. This war is in the interest of defending our region and wearing down Ordian military capabilities, and ensure a long-term strategic victory. The citizens of Kozelsk are tired of war constantly destroying their homes, killing their friends and families, and affecting their lives with long-term health effects. The Ordians attacked first, and did not give our government time to evacuate civilians from towns being affected by the war. This time, we have evacuated most civilians from the warzone; and have sent them to areas that will not be affected by the war." He stated. "If Petrovitch and his government still need more evidence that our citizens are tired of war, civilians have begun forming small militias in their village in the event that their town is attacked by invading forces. The Central Zolevskoy Alliance has begun mobilizing forces in Kozelsk, and are prepared to begin fighting alongside the Republic of Zolevskoy Armed Forces."

This whole conflict was an Ordian attack on Zolevskoyan sovereignty from day 1 and the evidence proves it. Kozelsk, the Bay of Lowren Incident, and even the 3rd Civil War last year all these events have Ordias sloppy fingerprints all over it. They tried to suppress dissent in Kozelsk and their own country with their fear tactics and now they are trying to suppress it with their military in Kozelsk. typical.

Tribunal declares the Avencell Islands as Hayabusan

SDE DOV CITY - An international tribunal has finally judged yesterday that the heavily disputed Avencell Islands is a territory of Hayabusa. In a press conference held this morning at the Presidential Palace, attended by the judges, the Foreign Minister and the President, Judge Anatoily Gromov declared the islands as a part of Hayabusa, citing evidence from historians on Hayabusa's initial claims of the islands.

The tribunal opened on June 29, 2015 in the Dasman Palace in Sde Dov City, and has heard arguments from the Feng and Hayabusan governments. Composing the tribunal are six judges from West Aurelia, Brytene, Nazat, Valaran and Stasnov, as well as historians from numerous countries. Members of the tribunal do not represent their respective nations' views on this conflict, and were picked due to the neutrality of their nations.

Speaking to reporters, Judge Hassan al-Khameni said: "While there is a Feng majority of the islands, it is possible for this to happen under the administration of a different nation. We have considered the claims by both the Feng and Hayabusan delegations, and considering Hayabusa's initial occupation of the islands before the Feng, we have awarded the islands to the Kingdom of Hayabusa."

The President, also in attendance, was questioned by a reporter whether Sde Dov would intervene in the conflict on the disputed islands, he said: "Hayabusa, being a long time ally and partner of the Sde Dovian government, has our full support in this crisis. Our official stance follows the judges' decision, and as such, it is considered that the Feng government is violating the territorial sovereignty of Hayabusa. The possibility of military intervention is on the table if all diplomatic options are exhausted."

The Feng claim the islands because of the predominantly ethnic Feng population, while the Hayabusans claim the islands due their occupation in the 1500s. The islands have been fought over seven times, and they are considered as one of the most disputed regions in Atlas. An agreement has limited the Hayabusan presence on the islands to four patrol squadrons.The Avencell Islands have been fought over between Hayabusa and Feng since June 25, 2015. Since then, thousands are trapped on the islands, with constant naval and air battles by both sides, closing off all possible means to leave the islands. The Queen, speaking on the matter last June 28, has called for a humanitarian ceasefire to allow delivery of much needed supplies and refugees to leave the islands.

Hayabusans living in Sde Dov have welcomed the tribunal's decision, with some protesting outside the Feng Embassy in Sde Dov City, holding nationalist messages and waving the Hayabusan flag. Meanwhile, Fengs living in Sde Dov were dismayed at the news, with some expressing their views on social media. However, one Feng national that the Times interviewed said: "I hope this war will be over soon. I have no hard feelings against your country, and my fellow citizens should accept the decision."

It is still currently unclear whether the tribunal's decision will shorten the conflict which has damaged most of the islands, and the effect on Sde Dov's relationship with the Fengs.

Plane crashes minutes after take-off from Uulang-Naytor

At 7:32 this morning, just 10 minutes after taking off from Uulang-Naytor Airport, Mercandan National Airlines Flight 778 from Uulang-Naytor in the Batukhan province flying to Tsanjing International Airport, outside the Mercandan capital of Tsanjing in Capital Province, crashed on a hillside, near the village of Buulang.

The aircraft, a Zhanjing ZJ-400-670, was at full capacity with 138 passengers on the domestic flight to the capital. Several eyewitnesses say that heard a large boom through the valleys of Batukhan, and what was described as a ''fireball'' descending from the skies, before making impact with a farm on a hillside. Debris was strewn as far as the outskirts of Uulang-Naytor, where some speculate it began to rip apart.

The exact aircraft, registered SM-90178, was scheduled for a checkup the next day after pilots began reporting several failures and defects, notably when enroute from Tsanjing to Wenghis when it's landing gear deployed and then retracted them by itself, and did this for several times, and the flight was diverted to Konghis-Dahn airport, just 6 days before the incident. The aircraft is also the first of a new model in the ZJ-400 family, and just hours after the incident, Mercandan National Airlines has put all of it's 45 orders on hold. Currently 6 of the new model are part of the fleet, all of which are currently grounded.

There is currently only two survivors, one on the plane and the other on the ground. Lee-sung Yang, the lone passenger who survived, is in a critical condition, whilst Ganbaatar Khan, a farmer who was near to the impact site at the time of the crash, has several serious injuries, however is expected to survive, and is also conscious, however simply stated that he was sleeping before waking in the midst of a crash.

This tragedy is the worst air crash since Mercandan National Airlines Flight 1055 in 1986, where a double-decker domestic flight from Tsanjing to Khongdawn crashed into a mountain peak, killing all 360 passengers, of which the cause has yet to be determined, but it is widely believed to be shot down by Feng forces due to the hostile relationship between the two nations, and also because it, for a short time on the flight, strayed into Feng airspace.

This tragedy will be remembered and grieved by our people for a long time.

Valdian President Alexander Sterling said today that the Valdian government would agree to recognize the disputed Avencell Islands as Hayabusan.

The Avencell Islands, near Auchoi, have been historically disputed by the Feng and Hayabusan governments, with Feng claiming it has jurisdiction due to the slight majority of Feng citizens, while Hayabusa has administered the islands for centuries. A tribunal earlier today declared the islands Hayabusan, keeping with an administration that started back in the Hayabusan colonial era. The tribunal has not stopped a war over the islands between the two nations, though.

Though the government has historically had friendly ties with the Fengs, President Alexander Sterling to a PCNN reporter said today that "These islands are and always have been Hayabusan. Just because the Fengs have a hundred or so more people doesn't mean that they should take over these islands which are still home to roughly the same amount of Hayabusans, not to mention that these islands have been Hayabusan for hundreds of years. It's not as if it's all Feng or as if they're genociding them or anything. There's no reason to upset the delicate political status quo." The statement was surprising to citizens and politicians who expected Sterling to side with the Fengs due to Valdiu's allegiances, but utterly normal for people who know the President intimately. "He's an outspoken but level-headed man," said Foreign Affairs Director Mitchell Thromright. "Quite frankly, I agree."

The Feng government has not yet responded to Sterling's statement, but Sterling has said that he does not fear retribution, saying that "they're level-headed people".

The Xienshii Feng Dynasty landed 17,000 troops and equipment on the Hayabusan-claimed Avencell Islands on the 25th of June, 2015. The historically disputed chain of islands had observed a time of relative peace for 81 years, with the only military movements on the islands being basic drills and naval protection of trade vessels during that period, until just recently. Feng leaders claimed to have had jurisdiction to land their soldiers on Avencell due to the majority population of Xienshii Fengs on the islands, and because they are much, much closer to the Feng homeland than the Hayabusan homeland. This incursion sparked massive controversy and terrible arguments between politicians in many nations, Vietnam included. It is said that even after some closed door diplomacy and dealing between Hayabusan and Xienshii Feng politicians, the Fengs refused to stop their advances across the island chain, leaving the lone squadrons of Royal Marines (who were acting as regulators and policemen before the invasion) to fend off the onslaught of 17,000 men. High ranks within the Royal Knights have confirmed to the HBC that the regulators are effectively inflicting casualties on the FEDUP soldiers, but are taking even heavier casualties in return due to the vast disadvantage in numbers and equipment. Commander James Roeder of the High Command stated that it (the High Command) is doing everything it can to keep the Avencell Regulators alive and in the fight, but can only do so much for them, as resources are not unlimited.

Reactions and statements of diplomatic support towards both nations came from many nations outside the conflict, including the Republic of Valdiu. President Alexander Sterling delivered a statement earlier today, in resounding support of the Great Kingdom, despite the nation's ties to Carloso. "The Avencell Islands are clearly Hayabusan," Sterling said, moments before mentioning Hayabusa's reasons to claim the chain. Before Sterling of Valdiu was President Vladimir Putrov of Sde Dov, who has been nothing but friend to Lepel since he took office in Sde Dov City. Putrov stayes that the Feng government was encroaching on Hayabusa's national sovereignty by setting foot on the Avencell Islands, and declared the nation's full support to Hayabusa throughout the struggle. Vladimir Putrov also hosted an international tribunal of judges from nations who have an expressedly neutral standpoint on the war, composing of six judges from the soverign nations of West Aurelia, Brytene, Nazat, Valaran and Stasnov. The tribunal ultimately declared the Avencell Islands as Hayabusan. Despite this, Supreme Chancellor Carl Tobin of Carloso slammed the tribunal, saying it was "laughably biased". He argued based off the facts that Valaran and Brytene have had military ties with Hayabusa in the recent past, and that Valaran is a current member of the Crimson Pact. He has since refused to make any further comments in regards to the conflict.

After all of this, the Court of Edenguard, headed by Lord Prime Minister Milo Lepel, finally voted in favour of deploying the Royal Knights to the Avencell Islands. It is known to the general public that King Richard and his eldest son the Prince Blake, have been talking to many MPs and pushing for all-out intervention in Avencell ever since the incursion first started on the 25th of June, and only now is it taking effect. This morning, the ultramodern Lord-class supercarrier, HMS Swordfish, departed from the Cora River and out into the Golden Bay, meeting up with the rest of it's regular operational fleet, this time working alongside two large amphibious combat groups as well. With a total of 7,000 Royal Marines, the FEDUP heavily outnumbers the Knight's projected presence on the idlands in terms of manpower. Despite this, Admiral William Brown spoke to the lads before departure to make sure that that statistic did not waver them. "We may be outnumbered, but our equipment is vastly better than theirs, and our training is the best in Atlas," he had said, "do not let the factor of numbers get you down. Though I must say, equipment and training absolutely does not matter if you do not care about the fight, or what you are fighting for, or your brothers beside you. L85s, EGs, Aryas, and Contenders will help win the battle for us," he went on to say, "but our hearts will be what truly drives us to victory." Onlookers from the coastal skyscrapers of Golden Bay said that the fleet went on it's way shortly after first light, moving steadfast at a southward direction. Brown had stated that his fleet would take every precaution to avoid violating territorial waters of other sovereign nations along the way, but also said that any deliberate prevention of operation or hostility against the fleet would be met with absolute force.

Just moments after the fleet departed, Lord Prime Minister Milo Lepel stood in front of the Court of Edenguard on live television to deliver a rather brief statement in regards to the new front in the ongoing war between the sovereign crowns of Hayabusa and Feng. "For almost a month, the politicians of Feng have ignored or dismissed our proposals and have refused to adhere to our dekands. For almost a month, Feng marines have blown through the island chain with unknown motives in regards to the Hayabusan population of the islands. For almost a month, 100 of our brave, but unlucky servicemen have been locked in a hopeless fight to the death against a force of 17,000 Xienshii Fengs. For almost a month, the government of Feng has avoided peace entirely. This is why 7,000 Knights are off to Avencell to destroy Feng military presence on the island chain, and this is why we are no longer open to an immediate peace offering. You, the leaders of Feng, have brought this upon yourself, and now you will look death in the eye for it. The Avencell Island Chain is Hayabusan, has always been Hayabusan, and will remain Hayabusan. Disrespect of our territorial sovereignty will absolutely not be tolerated." He walked off, without taking any questions or comments.
