"Screw Realism!" Student Exchange Program main thread

I think that it would be fun to let high school or college students from each of our nations study abroad in other nations in the "Screw Realism!" multiverse. Basically, each player will create a student to study abroad in another nation, as well as a host family to receive foreign students. In this thread, each student will be paired with a host family and sent to another nation, where their experiences will be RPed in separate IC threads created by the players. No application form is required, you can simply sort everything out here OOCly and create your own IC thread when you are ready.

That or the Ecumene, the Ecumene makes more sense but....

I think both students would go mad in their own ways, and my student could end up beating the piss out of someone with his mind.

So it depends.

Technologically superior but reasonable and not so surprising...or amazing tech and superior abilities but very silly?

This seems like it would be fun, I'm not a very good RP'er though so I'm not sure if I would be able to run this correctly. Being around "good" RP'ers is really intimidating too.

So I dunno, seems cool but I don't think I'd be great at it.

Would you be willing to do a proof of concept with me? It sounds like it would be fun.

I know better than to one-liner but don't expect a 3 paragraph description of the surroundings.

Oh, oh, tis' will be fun for playing as a delusional student claiming to be a Mahdi, will keep in watch (regardless of whether could I continue my participation or not). And don't pay attention for UEG, he's just looking for attention of someone to be asked whether his deodorant is too smelly. :p
