The Department of Security has confirmed that Sunrisia had begun supplying armaments, artillery and military tech to pro-democracy rebels fighting in Guadec against the dictatorship forces and other militia groups. The decision came after a National Defense Council meeting, with support from the Department of Security, the Sunrisian Defense Force and the Council members. The Convet approved the beginning of the action plan. In addition to that, the government has also authorized active provision of humanitarian aid to the entire country of Guadec, despite not being able to reach the planned agreement with the country’s uncooperative dictatorship. The action was instead authorized unilaterally, with Sunrisia opening its own humanitarian route, while also expressing the possibility of MDAA allies to get involved, if they would be available. Because of the uncooperativeness of the dictatorship, Sunrisia will likely cooperate with rebel leadership in order to ensure humanitarian aid provision across Guadec. The military has also hinted that pro-democracy rebel fighters might be trained by Sunrisian forces currently stationed in some Ziambani countries, but that was not confirmed nor talked about in detail too much. The Fáustîtár administration has accused the dictatorship of Guadec of genocidal tendencies against varying ethnic groups and its own people, in order to secure its crumbling power. The government is putting faith in the rebel leadership to protect civilians under threat of the government forces. Ideally, officials say that seeing the creation of a free, democratic and prosperous Guadec through the pro-democracy rebel victory would be the best outcome, but right now, the most important thing is to prop up the democratic forces in Guadec to withstand the dictatorship and other militias.
