Englean Heir Crowned, Borders (somewhat) Open, and Security is Lock'd n' Loaded

Engelberg -- After 50 years under the reign of Konrad I, his son has been crowned Konrad II. The new Emperor has made promises to focus on the welfare of the citizens of Engleberg, while also prioritizing security and defense. At the coronation ceremony, the Kaiserliche-Garde presented their ceremonial parade, while also swearing allegiance to the new Kaiser. Uniforms from the coronation of Kaiser Otto II (reign 1896-1966) were used, as it is procedure to use uniforms from the coronation of the previous Kaiser's father. The Engelean Luftstreitkräfte also provided an air show utilizing three generations of Engelean (and captured) aircraft. The Marshal of Engleberg, Frederick “Geist” Caridan, stood beside the Kaiser, observing the presentation. In his glistening uniform, Kaiser Konrad II stated in his speech that "...A new age of Engelean peace will be generated..." and that he "...will only use the Engelean Reichswehr if absolutely necessary."


In other news, following the coronation, tourism has been approved in Engleberg. Tourists from other nations may enter the nation, if they have proper identification. Tourists will be given leniency to more complicated Englean laws. The government has stated that if any tourists need assistance, or see any suspicious activity, they should contact the nearest Reichspolizei outpost.

Finally, the Englean Reichswehr has been approved to increase its size. New development in warfare have also been approved, such as a new main battle tank, increase in submarines and aircraft carriers, and new interceptor and bomber aircraft. These projects are organized under the name "Projekt C." The Kaiserliche-Garde are also developing their forces, with the implementation of a new intelligence-gathering section. Marschall Caridan stated that "...Engleberg is becoming more powerful, which is necessary in this new world. We must be prepared for all threats, domestic or international." There has also been a rumor that the Luftstreitkräfte is researching a new form of ICBM and a possible "starship" program. When Marschall Caridan was questioned, he simply stated "We do plan on more exploration of space, but we have no intention on creating armed spacefaring vessels."

The Kaiser declares Socialism and Communism legal

In what was seen as a show of friendship towards the USJR, the Kaiser Wilhelm I has made a decree where he declares Socialism and Communism both completely legal ideologies, giving the next message to the media:

"I fear I have overlooked a detail on our Isolation Policy. It seems like the last Kaiser, Robert III, added the Socialist and Communist ideologies to the list of undesirables. I believe this is a mistake taken by an older government. I myself am quite liberal about economic ideologies, and I see they don't present any important danger to the national order. I would consider myself a socialist, as I fight for the rights of my people. For this reason I have decided to remove both Communism and Socialism from the list of degenerate ideologies and all people sent to the Cultural Settlements for the fact they were confirmed communists or socialists shall be sent back to their homes and given a monetary reparation for the problem caused to them. I can't do anything else but apology from the bottom of my heart to these people, and hope for forgiveness."

The news were celebrated by both Communists and Socialists sent to the Cultural Settlements. "This is a step forward towards justice and order" said Quirin Schuhart, member of the Factory Worker Syndicate, who was sent to a Cultural Settlement not too much time ago. Minorities attack cities across nation, new punishments put into place

Earlier today, several groups of religious minorities, called Red Men for the red patches worn on heir arms, carried out attacks in in 12 different cities, striking 36 restaurants and 3 major sporting events. Over 300 Iva citizens have been confirmed dead. Soldiers already patrolling the city streets have managed to kill all but 8 of the attackers who have each been imprisoned.

The attack has outraged the nation, and many have demanded for a punishment. "This is an outrage!" Yells Artem Jonogin, a citizen in Tumanami demanding a punishment. "The **** ********** ****** ***********s need to be ******** killed! The whole lot of them!"

The government did answer to the pleads of the Iva people, and have set a new set of restrictions a list of them follows:

Chancellor Denounces Vekalse Regime Change as Aznazian vessels move closer to Amber Island

After the recent events in Vekalse, Chancellor Pudikov has called for the Senate to begin to look into how much sanctions on Vekalse will effect Aznazian national security and the economy. The Chancellor stated that "The Aznazian senate will vote tomorrow on whether we as a nation will recognize the The Zuerst Kaiserreich of Vekalse as the official government of Vekalse. As of now I consider this new regime to be dangerous and a result of extreme nationalist views by many nations recently. The Federal Republic of Aznazia will not recognize a regime that denies citizens of a nation we once saw as any ally their basic rights outlined in the Vekalse Constitution. That very Constitution was violated by Verano de Sangre II and we demand that President Rusk be released along with the citizens jailed for trying to let their voices be heard in Cas Coronas. If Verano de Sangre II does not meet these requests than I will have no choice but to use my executive powers to remove all Aznazian military, political, and economic property and personal from Vekalse."

Many Senators have applauded the Chancellor for his stance on the issue and have already stated that they would agree. Senator Timothy Laverty told me that he would approve of a bill to Challenge Verano de Sangre II as the legitimate President of Vekalse. The speech as well as the recent announcement about the Vekalse currency change has already caused a massive sell off in Vekalse stocks on the Crawford Stock Exchange today and is projected to continue tomorrow as well.

The Aznazian Secretary of Defense also announced that Aznazian submarines had been ordered to patrol within 20 miles of Amber Island to keep tabs on POD military movements. The submarines have been ordered to stay clear of POD vessels and he stated this is a routine operation by Aznazian as part of Aznazia's dedication to patrolling oceans near WeSTO and should not be taken as provocative moves by POD in any way.

Concerns Raising Over Longyear Violence: Rasmussen Regime

because of the recent and ongoing unrest and possible civil war-like conditions in the Longyear Islands, Belantic officials are now raising concerns about both how these events are having an effect at home and abroad, and what it means for how we conduct business abroad. The main issues that were discussed were about how some secessionist groups in Belantica may try to start their own militant movements and how intervention for peacekeeping purposes may be needed in order to have both sides to have talks. Representatives from the State Department, Parliament, and the Ministry of Defense where in Center City today to release press statements and to answer questions.

"Personally, it is not normal for us to say this', explained Gerald Hobbs, Secretary of the State Department,"but there has been too much violence that has taken place in the Longyear Islands, and despite how we tend to be a isolationist nation, we decided that in order for the regular people, the civilians of Longyear, to have some protection from the violence around them. There has been way too many deaths that have been caused by the unrest".

"This brings me to my next point", continued Hobbs," we also believe that the Rasmussen regime currently in power has proved itself to be inhumane. His people asked him to step down, and he refuses. He then decides to openly declare martial law and there has been multiple reports of civilians being killed by military personnel, Longyear civilians! A government is not supposed to oppress and harm the people under it's power, and a military for a nation should not be killing innocent civilians either. We believe it has to stop. However, due to President Narrows being preoccupied with other foreign affairs, this has to be discussed with him at a later time. But our goal is to have both side sit down, and have talks towards peace to end the violence from both sides".

"There is also some concerns about homegrown groups for secession or wanting to topple our democracy", stated Colonel George Whitney of the Defense Forces,"usually it isn't a concern, but with recent political turmoil here and vast differences in views, there is a chance for someone to do something to bring that violence over here. Let's face it, most of us would rather live a normal, comfortable life instead of living in fear, and it's within my interest to make sure of it. But as of now, there is no threat to stability".

Overall, the meeting held had many questions answered, and officials are starting to put the framework together once President Narrows is done with his meetings with foreign officials. Many Belanticans are waiting for more news to come in from the Longyear Islands, and paying close attention about what is happening there. It is raising concerns for many across the nation, even to those who usually don't care about international news, for both what it means for us here, and there.

"Fawkes" secondary base raided by the KKSK
The Kaiserreich's Special Operations Division successfully located and raided a base home to several "Fawkes" members.

In a day that will probably go into history books, a base of the famous terrorist organization simply known as "The Fawkes" has been raided by the Rodranian KKSK. The announcement was made official a few hours ago, and the after action reports claim the operation went smoothly and several members of the terrorist organization were captured and are going to be questioned. This is an important strike against "The Fawkes", and other minor groups branching from them, working to destabilize the Kaiserreich. While the time and the day in which the operation was done is not known, the location of the ex-Fawkes base is believed to be in a warehouse on the industrial district of Eston.

The Security advisor of the Kaiser has agreed to give a small announcement on TV about the event. "Dear citizens, we have made a step forwards towards completely securing the rightful ownership of the state for our great Kaiser. The Kaiserreich shall never fall, and let it be known we won't let these attempts at attacking our great nation be forgiven with ease. The prisoners shall be questioned in an attempt to locate their main HQ and raid it too."

The SG30 Gewehrfrau, the rifle used by the KKSK on the operation, had its first official mission and showed itself to be reliable and perfect for the Rodranian Special Forces. "It was a show of old and new clashing" said a member of the KKSK who was allowed to speak "We had the latest in Kaiserreich technology, and it did its job better than the outdated weapons used by the terrorists. We honestly believe these new technologies will give us the upper hand on the fight against instability on our nation. Hell, we might as well already won against the Fawkes."

The Fawkes, for those unaware of them, was a terrorist group that originally appeared son after the Sunalayan Second Great War, in 1948. The group claimed to be an "Egalitarian Rebellious Group" that attempted to take the Kaiser out of power. Fortunately, the group was swiftly dealt with and disappeared by 1956. On the year 2000, a group the new Fawkes group appeared on the city of Eston and it's still unknown if they are directly related to the group that operated between 1948 and 1956. The name "Fawkes" comes from the fact the original members were famous for using Guy Fawkes masks, the group quickly adopted this name. The group is famous for bombing important locations and disregarding civilian casualties in the name of "Freedom".

President Áest Sâlutár Speaks With The South Sunrisian Ambassador Following The Deportation Of Journalists
After the deportation of North Sunrisian journalists from South Sunrisia following alleged misinformation accusations regarding South Sunrisia’s weapons development, the government of North Sunrisia has taken steps to reconcile once more

After South Sunrisia had deported and blacklisted a number of journalists from North Sunrisia following the hydrogen bomb scandal, mass protests in opposition to the move, have erupted near the South Sunrisian embassy in Aestin. Beginning the day following the official deportation of our country’s nationals from South Sunrisia, the demonstrations are still ongoing and have been continuing for several days. All this time, the protests have remained peaceful and no possible intervention from authorities had been required, although, the police continue carefully monitoring the situation. Nevertheless, despite no eruption of unrest, the demonstrations had always remained full of energy, as the protesters had been chanting loud slogans criticizing South Sunrisia’s suppression of the freedom of speech and used colorful banners and visual techniques to emphasize their message. Interesting fact is that the protests are not entirely comprised of North Sunrisian demonstrators and is strictly a project of our citizens’ making, as a large percentage of the demonstrators has been confirmed to be consisting of citizens of South Sunrisia.

Despite the protests possibly sending a certain message to the South Sunrisian authorities, President Áest Sâlutár wanted to prove that these demonstrations are not necessarily expressing Aestin’s or North Sunrisia’s national agenda and that a certain portion of citizens and organizations are expressing their view using their freedom of speech, a sacred right. President Sâlutár had issued a personal invite to the South Sunrisian ambassador to come to the Presidential Palace, where they held a personal meeting, during which the President explained everything and expressed what he hopes would be delivered to Lucera. The head of state has said that the administration does criticize the move for the reason that it looks like a sign of South Sunrisia’s disregard for the freedom of speech. Although it was the journalists from our country that were punished and not local ones, the suppression of the work of the North Sunrisian journalists in South Sunrisia has only been a recent event in a reported slew of the Supreme Leadership’s and Government’s war on media, as silencing of the South Sunrisian networks and outlets by the national authorities has been a common occurrence in the country, especially when the same topic of the hydrogen bomb had been brought up. The South Sunrisian side is trying to point out the hydrogen bomb theory as conspiracy and propaganda cooked up primarily by North Sunrisia, however, the theory has reportedly been flowing around South Sunrisia itself, way before our country’ media or even the journalists of North Sunrisia had even brought up South Sunrisia’s hydrogen bomb development for the first time. In fact, many point out that such a vast presence of South Sunrisians among demonstrations in Aestin, proves that the citizens of South Sunrisia highly believe that their national leadership and military are developing the hydrogen bomb behind their backs, as well as hiding it from the rest of the world.

Nevertheless, the President avoided all biases and even tried to hint that North Sunrisia may be the side in the wrong in this story and not South Sunrisia. The head of state has said that the administration will recognize South Sunrisia’s decision to deport and blacklist our country’s nationals, if they had indeed violated the South Sunrisian law, however, he requested that the national authorities in Aestin at least not be as harsh on the local media, even if they are reporting controversial information that the Supreme Leadership and Government, seeing to how the media is obliged to inform the citizens of South Sunrisia of what is going on in their country and the citizens have the full right to know. President Áest Sâlutár has also said that North Sunrisia remains neutral on the theory whether South Sunrisia is developing the hydrogen bomb and said that our country does not believe it to be fact, but neither denies it being a possibility. Following the conclusion of the meeting, both the President and the South Sunrisian ambassador have said that despite a lot of things that might have caused controversy having been said during their conversation, the meeting was still productive and hopefully, the North and the South will once again find a way how to put another senseless dispute behind them and resume focus on friendship.

Meanwhile, in the wake of the scandal and correlating events in both countries, the official command of the North Sunrisian Liberty Defense Army (NSLDA), our country’s armed forces, have said that despite the neutral position of North Sunrisia on the question, the military has basis to believe that South Sunrisia is indeed developing a hydrogen bomb, despite denial by the Supreme Leadership and Government. Online, the theory also resumes being brought up as possibility, with a lot of focus falling not just on the criticism of possible weapons development by South Sunrisia, but also about how the country has indeed openly shown its’ disregard for the freedom of speech.

Today, an unknown sniper shot Grand Duchess Helen Lizabont in the thigh. Senkarian guards dragged her into a building before Rezuan guards had time to respond, at first thinking they were there to help. However, this was not trust, as the Senkarians tied and gagged Helen Lizabont. Rezuan guards charge in after her, but most were killed by soldiers of unknown allegiance.

Three Rezuans escaped and were allowed into Rezua's Embassy, where they reported to have seen Helen Lizabont put into a gas chamber, where she was killed. Her body has not been recovered and is believed to be buried in the remains of the building she was in, which was destroyed by unknown attackers. Rebeka Lizabont's location has been hidden from the public and no one but the Empress knows where she is.

Alphonse Lizabont has been made Grand Duke of Kurzera and released a statement in switch he swore "instant and merciless retaliation". Empress Ymira has blocked his ability to launch troops into Senkaria until she believes to have a good understanding of the situation. Helen Lizabont's husband, Jakob and her two children Ralf and Petra, have been moved into a secure location for their safety.

In Rezua, Princess Christina has tightened airport security and has allowed Police Commander Balfour to raise police patrolling in major cities by as much as 20%. Protestors are demanding answers but have remained peace, even respectful towards police.

President Supports Social Democratic Front
Calls for Rasmussen to step down

Jamestown President Grimpen Mortimer announced today to the Party Soviet in Jamestown that he wished to seek the Social Democratic Front and ‘citizens of Longyear’ in their struggle against the Rasmussen regime. In his shocking sudden address, the President stressed the fact that it was the duty of the Soviet to support all revolutions in the name of aiding the masses. His words were met by thunderous applause within the halls of the Soviet. The United Sunalayan Assembly has already passed a resolution to investigate Rasmussen and his actions in Longyear. The commander of the mission, Osip Fedor, is a well-known investigator within the Republic.
Osip Fedor was one of the chief investigators of the massive Soviet corruption bust back in 2014, that brought several top party members and Soviet members down from power. The Commission of Internal Affairs has a job dedicated to rooting out corruption within the government, and as thus, many supported his candidacy for the office of Supreme Commander. Fedor has reported to the Assambly, and is currently awaiting Longyear approval for his visa to enter the country.

Despite this clear step against the government, Mortimer is pushing ahead at the will of the Politburo, which held a meeting yesterday evening on the ongoing crisis in formerly diplomatic countries. The Politburo did not release a statement on the matter, but many insiders suspect that a policy has been given to the President and Commissioners to follow. If not, many suspect that the administration is catering to the more extreme members of the party, who recently have been disgruntled with the President for not acting as tough on the world stage.

On Castaway Island, a media blackout has been in place. Citizens on the Soviet part of the island are not permitted near the Island’s large military complexes and airfields, but confirm that there has been the almost constant roar of aircraft over the small island in the North Sunalantic. The island is an infamous military instillation, that during the Cold War, was a known staging point for both conventional and nuclear weapons. Since the end of the Cold War, it had been publically announced that the nuclear weapons were removed from the island, but it is still suspected that the island’s large trove of weaponry stored in bomb proof shelters remains.

Former Ophion generals, that have retired from the service and wish to have their names withheld from this article, confirmed for the Journal that the former Union had plans to seize the island in the event of a war with the west. Thought the former officers did not elaborate, one can only assume that the Mortimer Administration is dusting off old plans, and potentially older weapons.

Englean Government Denounces "The Fawkes," and Announces Support for the Rodranian Government

Engelberg -- Earlier today, the Englean government had denounced the actions of the terrorist organization "The Fawkes," which is a group operating in Rodrania. With the acceptance of Rodranian Kaiser Wilhelm I as an honorary "Gardesgeneral," both Konrad II and Marshal Caridan have announced their support for the nation's government. In an attempt to further relations between the nations, the Englean Grenzschutzgruppe have offered their assistance in the war against the terrorists. The GSG has been renown for their suppression of many revolutionary groups, many of which have disappeared entirely under Konrad I.

Konrad II had taken to the airwaves to deliver a speech to the Rodranians. A section has been provided. "With the strike against the Fawkes secondary HQ, the Englean government announces its support for Rodrania against these savages. The new age of Englean security must now support ages internationally, and with it gain more allies for our great nation. The Wilhelmsgarde are at your service, my esteemed counterpart. We in Engleberg wish to progress the war against this group into a direction of Rodranian victory."

In other news, the senator of the 3rd State of Ritnau has been arrested by the Reichspolizei. He is charged with conspiracy against the Chancellor and the Kaiserreich, attempting to create a rebel organization, and taking funds from the treasury to fund these ventures. He was seen being escorted by two Reichspolizei officers out of his home, but we were not able to make direct contact for a statement. The senator has pleaded not guilty, but is expected to see trial within the week. If he is proven guilty by the jury, he will either face a life sentence in die Wüstenei, or death.

Society of Science and Technology destroyed, Grand Duchess Helen murdered.

A few hours ago Grand Duchess Helen, a Rezuan ambassador was sent to The Society of Science and Technology to deliver another of her famous speeches so many Senkarian citizens have grown to love. However, an unknown sniper shot The Grand Duchess in the thigh as the crowds went wild. Dragged into the building she was reportedly gagged and tied down as the terrorist attack on the building began.

An unknown chemical gas was released into all of the ventilation systems in the entire building killing roughly 900 scientists, doctors, and engineers working at the facility. No information has been reported yet, but it is believed the terrorists retrieved an item before detonating a bomb that blew up the highly advanced scientific facility killing the police inside. Military units didn't arrive in time at the scene.

An estimated 1,000 people were killed and 72 injured civilians in the crowd that attended the speech. Chairman Drey has not issued a statement on the scenario and Helen's sister, Rebeka, is currently missing.

Former Chairman Noxsidera, still recovering in Rhodevus, released the following speech to nations all over Sunalaya:

South Sunrisia Officially Transitions Into Federalism, De-Centralizing The Government

Today marks a historical day in South Sunrisia. With the approval of the Supreme Leadership and Government, the Supreme Court, the Supreme Council and the Consultative Assembly have all combined their legislative powers to officially declare and authorize South Sunrisia’s transition into federalization, creating a de-centralized system of government in our country. With this historical change and a new system, South Sunrisia is no longer a unitary constitutional theocracy, but rather a federal constitutional theocracy, living up to our country’s official name – the Democratic States, emphasis on plural.

With this conversion, the new system will allow the administrative districts comprising South Sunrisia’s sovereign territory, to govern themselves more freely and self-sufficiently, even to a point where the inhabitants of the districts would be able to elect their own governing administration, while the districts themselves would receive the liberty to pass laws independent of the federal law, yet with minor restrictions. The federalization does not mean full autonomy, as these self-sufficient authorities of South Sunrisia’s administrative districts would still have to work under Lucera as the central national leadership of the country, however, the conversion gives them more independence by comparison.

The citizens of South Sunrisia did not give a significant reaction to this conversion, however, with Sunrisians having lived under a unitary system throughout history, including in the day of united Sunrisia, curiosity prevails among the people and many are looking forward to seeing where this new, more liberal system of national authority may lead South Sunrisia to in the future. Some national officials had pointed out that South Sunrisia is heading towards a path of becoming not just a better democracy than countries like North Sunrisia or many others considers themselves to be, but that South Sunrisia is on the way of becoming a single true democracy in Sunalaya by its’ essence.

Queen Danielle II Ill & Bedridden!

Yesterday, during a Enhet Dag party in the Great Hall, Her Majesty Queen Danielle II collapsed in what was initially thought to be drunkedness. Hours later, long after she had sobered up, she still seemed very ill with an unknown illness. The royal physician, Lykke Holmström, was quoted as saying, "I just... I just don't know. I just can't pin it on anything solid. It's like nothing I've ever seen before." We can only pray for Her Majesty's health. Pray that a doctor finds a cure.

Several reports talk of her condition worsening by the hour, unfortunately. The Queen has stated that, should she pass, every citizen shall receive a pint from the royal brewery and that her eldest child will inherit the throne. We can only hope that this saddening thought doesn't come to fruition.

"Thank you Charles. I am here in Kingstown's largest natural reserve, amidst citywide protests against the Sevil family's plan to reduce the size of the reserve. The slogan for the protests; less trees and less bees leaves the Summer freeze. Green space in cities has been proven to reduce carbon emissions by at least 15%, and with parks such as this one on the decline nationwide, many believe that Rhodevus will grow less carbon efficient every year. Today, Wilhelm I has given the announcement that all legal Untermensch have finally been moved to Cultural Settlements. Some more actions need to be taken to move the Untermensch that are not registered on the nation's citizen list. This includes mostly illegal immigrants and non-registered children. "The operation went smoothly" the Kaiser said, referring to the lack of any violence towards neither the police and armed forces nor the Untermensch.

Aside from this announcements, the Kaiser has said that "... More is possible to come soon. Specially related to our territories and military technology and strength. We'll also work on strengthening the ties between mostly the USJR and Engleberg", two nations that have showed to be cooperative and trustworthy friends of the Kaiserreich, specially Engleberg, a nation Rodrania always worked together with. The USJR has recently shown friendliness towards the Kaiserreich after the decision to make Communism and Socialism legal.

The Kaiser has made no comment about the situation on Senkaria or the poor relations with Rezua, but has stated that it fully supports the official government in the Longyear Islands and will be open to talk and offer help to the Rasmussen Official Government.

Grand Duke Ignores Empress' Orders

Today at 2:43 pm, Kurzeran aircraft and naval units left the territory, their destination: Senkaria. Alphonse Lizabont was the heir of Grand Duchess Helen Lizabont, and he is now the reigning lord of the Kurzera Territory. Grand Duke Alphonse made a speech today to address what he as described as "a tragedy turned insult." :

Rezuans, specially the Kurzeran people, today we have been insulted. Our Grand Duchess, my beloved sister, was murdered by unknown hostiles in Senkaria. Our allies have done nothing, which is the norm these days. Our great empire stands as a Sentry to the West, yet we are seen as a small spec to our "allies". The Rhodeve have blabbered about gossip, over the death of our Grand Duchess! How insignificant must we be to them? Our sacrifices do not mean anything, expect to those who it is directly done for. The Senkarians, in their time of lose, found it within their hearts to mourn our loss as well as all of theirs. How then can we not look westward and see disgusting people, people ignorant of our sacrifice and of nations we are bond together with through geological placement."

"Therefore, in the name of Rezua and Senkaria, I shall act for the people who appreciate our sacrifice. The Empress froze our military assets, people of Kurzera, but I unfroze them. An hour before now, I launched 300 soldiers storm-troopers (Rezuan Marines), via aircraft, to bring peace to Senkaria. I shall recover the body of the Grand Duchess, I shall find her killer, and I shall hunt down and eradicate the disease that is the Bannerless Brothers! I will purge Sunalaya of their very existence and strike fear into the hearts of all who dare to threaten Rezua and her loyal allies, not the Western puppet-masters!"

"Today marks the rebirth of our empire! Today we do what our Empress is afraid to do because she doesn't think we are ready. Well, my dear people, tell her we are! Tell our glorious Empress that we are ready to follow her path of enlightenment! Rezua shall be a beacon of hope, the beacon that Empress Ymira herself lit during the Civil War. Immediately after this speech, Empress Ymira sent General Sasha Arwenia to personally shut down Kurzera's military assets for the time being. Empress Ymira has rejected the title that Grand Duke Alphonse has given her, but it is unknown what she plans to do about Senkaria. Empire Ymira also denounced Alphonse's "Rebirth of the Empire". Many Kurzerans are divided, they adore their Empress but the Grand Duke offers action.

Rodrania supports Alphonse Lizabont
The Kaiser and other members of the royal family gave a speech about the situation in Rezua.

Not long after the news of Grand Duke Alphonse Lizabont reached Rodrania, the Kaiser Wilhelm I has decided to, as usual, speak about the issue with Duke Alphonse and Empress Ymira in front of the people of the Palace.

"Dear citizens, once again I come to talk to you about the Western world. As you may have already read, his Royalty Grand Duke Alphons has decided to finally let free of its chains and take a step forward towards bringing order on Senkaria, and for this I commend him gladly. Why would the 'Empress' let this happen is beyond me, if I was Rezuan I would have already sacked Ymira by now, incompetence should not be tolerated and his Royalty Grand Duke Alphons is doing the correct thing by bringing justice, security and order to Senkaria. I can only offer this man, with whom I hope to speak soon, support by Rodrania by all means.

Oh, and 'Bonbon' nothing personal."

No one is sure to who the Kaiser was referring when saying 'Bonbon', but the rest of the speech was rather obvious and inflamatory, with the people cheering at the words of Wilhelm.

Grand Duke Angered

In answer to Rodrania's support of Grand Duke Alphonse, ironically, the Grand Duke ranted back to them. Grand Duke Alphonse released a new statement in answer to the Kasier of Rodrania.

"How dare you. While I appreciate your support of my Senkarian mission, I am severely insulted you dared to think I am a traitor! Empress Ymira and I are having a friendly disagreement in this matter, I am a man of action, our dear Empress is only hesitate because of people like the West and you, Kaiser."

Do not think I don't know about this "bonbon" incident. You will address Her Imperial Majesty, the Glorious Empress Ymira wiht respect! Rezuans would not "sack" Empress Ymira as you have said. A threat against the life of my Empress is a threat aganist me. If the Rodranian nation wishes to support me in my Senkarian mission, my absolutely must respect the might of Rezua, and her illustrious Empress.

"Hello, the time is 6:35 here in Kingstown. Our first major story of the night is the death of Rezuan Grande Duchess Helen. Before we begin our usual story, it has been commented by the Rezuan press, that our news has left out this very important event from our mid-day news segment. We here at Kingstown News would like to outwardly state our apologies for not adding this to our news. It is a general cultural tradition for us here to have lighter news during the midday, and our more complex stories in the evening.

Now, back to our usual program. The Grande Duchess's death in Senkaria has sparked a wider segment of tragedy, that is the fighting in Senkaria, between Rhodeve, Rezuan and Senkarian troops against the Bannerless Brotherhood. The Brotherhood's new wave of terror reached its epitome last night, with the destruction of the Senkarian Society of Science and Technology, with the assassination of Grande Duchess Helen, as well as the deaths of hundreds of Senkarian and Rhodeve scientists who worked in the society. Queen Diana has remained silent on this news, stating that she will release an official statement soon. Princess Heir Sierra Abrams however, publicly stated that this event in Senkaria has shown the world that the brotherhood will not stop its ruthless ways in the name of the betterment of the world as they often say. The Brotherhood is a terrorist group who only wishes to see the destruction of modern society and lead to the deaths of thousands of people.

We would like to take a moment's silence to commemorate all those who have died in Senkaria and Rhodevus over the past week at the hands of the Brotherhood...

Federal Republic Becomes Kaiserreich-Monarchy;

Today in Coronas delas Sur, the southern and poor district of Cas Coronas, the four-day streak of small protests came to an end when a counter-protests blocked their march through 58th West and 6th Avenue, known for the infamous Annie Lynch Riots in 1988. Although the protester's motive to march down this specific road is unknown, it is thought that it may have some correlation to the past riots. A counter-protest was that of a human-chain that stretched a whole block, encompassing them in one city-block, officially cutting their march early. Counter-protests held signs with big exes of Dean Rusk's name, and slogan posters for Kaiser Verano de Sangre II. Königin Marlis de Sangre I, the now female monarch and wife to the Kaiser, released a statement regarding the end of the protests and congratulating the counter-protesters for 'protecting the name of Vekalse.'

Early than expected, the national government officially flipped to Kaiserreich-Monarchy, the currency also experiencing a change. On Monday, the national currency changed from the Venti to the Reichtümer, the value of the currency rocketing through the roof. Despite the economic growth, recent, unjust sanctions from Aznazia against Vekalse have hit a few areas of specific trade particularly hard. One of these examples is the arms trade, which has largely transferred to the Kaiserreich of Rodrania, Rhodevus, Capsland, and Philomachus. In response to the unjust sanctions, on Monday, Kaiser Verano de Sangre ordered an official sanction of lumber, rare earth materials, petroleum, grains, and arms trade against Aznazian imports. Although economists estimate that the quickness of a quota-tariff against the arms trade with Aznazian could temporarily harm the defense sector, Kaiser Verano de Sangre II issued a statement advising to shift trade more toward the 'politically aligned.'

In a three-hour press-conference, his representative stated that, "Kaiser Sangre II was deeply saddened by the Fawkes group in Rodrania, and has order and condemnation of their actions. He has also offered a joint peacekeeping mission to rid the now categorized 'terrorist group' from omitting another attack." Loyalty and the upholding of the Vekalsian citizen's rights, much opposed to the original idea of what Kaiser Verano de Sangre II Would bring, has brought Kaiser Sangre's approval ratings up by nearly triple of what they were when he was first democratically elected into power.

Creperia has a new President and it is a man, whom many in the country were already confident to see in the position of the national leader, seeing the vast people’s support behind him. Vidd Āmore, the candidate from the Liberal Party, has official won the race and has been “crowned” the new President of Creperia after garnering the majority of the vote. In the past, Creperian presidential elections usually saw a close-call and close turnout between the votes, as a crowd favorite rarely stood out as a clear forth-runner among rival candidates and many of the presidential hopefuls were right on each other’s back by popularity, but now, the situation was exceptional. President-elect Vidd Āmore was a crowd favorite from the start and overshadowed his opponents from other parties, as well as independent ones, significantly, therefore, today, it is not really a grand surprise that he had ultimately ended up the one to win the presidency. Despite it not necessarily being a surprise, the nation is still rejoicing massively over the result, as Creperia once again engages in celebration following the election of the country’s next leader.

As usual, the outcome of a presidential election in our country has more colors than it might be visible. The victory of President-elect Āmore does not simply mean that a new name has been placed in the position of the head of state, as along with the new President of Creperia, also comes the party that he represents. Succeeding the incumbent Democrat President Jerr Dēlecia, President-elect Vidd Āmore, who was a Liberal candidate, also brings the Liberal Party back in power along with himself, as the Liberals would not once again be holding the majority in the government, replacing the Democrats. So far, an independent candidate, who is not representing any party, has not won the presidency, which means that the government has been balancing between the major political parties in our country, primarily between the most popular ones – the Democrats and the Liberals. Should a candidate from an independent party had one, a more equalized coalition had been formed, however, that currently does not seem to be in the interest of Creperian voters, who apparently want to return to following the values that the Liberal Party represents.

Many are already calling the outcome “a perfection” seeing to how the current Democratic Republic would be having its’ second Liberal president, after having already had 2 Democrat presidents in power since the regime change, and one Liberal president in between. Political analysts say that this evens out the number and that Creperia would continue heading in the right direction, seeing to how it is known to our country’s common voter that the Democrats and the Liberals, despite being biggest of rivals in Creperia’s politics, are also able to cooperate very well and mix their policies and ideologies to create a perfect combination, which moves Creperia towards a better direction. Experts say that apparently, despite embracing and appreciating all the achievements of the Democratic Party, the voters are currently more interested in what the Liberals have to offer in the current bid and that was exactly what they had chosen.

As President-elect Vidd Āmore is rejoicing along with the nation that has supported him, the incumbent President Jerr Dēlecia has congratulated his successor, wished him luck and expressed hope that he would be able to achieve what he fell short to do, during his term. President Jerr Dēlecia did not run for re-election, however, experts say that he might have won a second term due to his high approval rating. The inauguration of the President-elect would be taking place tomorrow at the Presidential Palace, with foreign representatives having been invited to Miraya as Guests of Honor.

Empress Responses to Grand Duke
Imperial News

Empress Ymira dealt with Grand Duke Alphonse's disobedience by halting military actions in Kurzera. Today, she has sought to make Rezua's true intentions know, not what Grand Duke Alphonse is demanding Rezua to do. The Empress released a statement today explaining what she plans to do about Senkaria and other issues the Grand Duke mentioned.

First and foremost, under no circumstances will Rezua's aim ever be to spread fear. Fear is a weapon of corrupt governments and terrorist organizations,which Rezua is neither of. While I do agree with the Grand Duke on sending more aid, and possibly more troops to Senkaria, I do not agree with his stance on our allies. Rezua is appreciative of her allies and understands diplomatic difficulties, even if they are disappointing to Rezua. By no means do I expect to expand Rezua's empire in anyway though violence, as I see such action as aggressive. Rezua will stop aggressive action like this, hopefully with peaceful means, before violence is ever thought of.

Now, on my opinion of the Grand Duke, I will say I am not pleased with Grand Duke Alphonse, but do not want to replace him as of yet. He has just be handed with heavy burden when his sister was suddenly assassinated, his tone with Rodrania and his promise of a "new empire" are reflecting his frustration at his loss. He wants to keep public support and does not know, as of yet, how to do that. In this transition period, I ask my people and my allies' people to allow the Grand Duke a few months before judging his leadership. I will personally oversee his future actions, to make sure they align with Rezua's goals, while also educating him in how to rule. Being taught how to rule from textbooks and assistants is much different than actually ruling. For now, I will give the Grand Duke time to get used to his new role, but I will not tolerant policies the empire does not believe in, nor will I permit the Kuzeran army to be launched without Parliamentary approval.

Power Differences “Evened Out” In Corentia

After much speculation, Lucera and Jamestown are now both openly speaking out in confirmation that the United Soviet Jason Republic has indeed decide to change course and cancel its’ past decision to close 2 of its’ 3 military bases in South Sunrisia and leave behind only 7,000 soldiers instead of the original 21,000. In the face of uncertainty in Sunalaya, South Sunrisia and USJR has decided to strengthen their alliance by reassuring each other’s commitment to the mutual defense pact.

As South Sunrisia has deployed naval forces and aircraft to shield USJR in the face of primarily western military powers “creeping up” to USJR’s borders, our country’s ally has given a second thought to the idea of limiting military presence in our country. Seeing that North Sunrisia continues getting “stocked” with foreign military bases belonging to countries not necessarily friendly to either USJR or South Sunrisia, Jamestown has seen that a limited presence would only flip the scale to a completely unpleasant direction and probably having already noticed the reduction of Soviet military presence in South Sunrisia happening, the west has decided to use the opportunity to push further. Now, it appears that the scale has been pushed back closer to the middle once more.

The general command of the South Sunrisian Revolutionary Guardian Army (SSRGA) has confirmed that USJR would keep its’ 3 military bases in South Sunrisia open and the original number of 21,000 combat-ready troops would also further be stationed on permanent basis. Although placing 21,000 USJR troops against the west’s 42,400 soldiers stationed in North Sunrisia, is still an imbalance, the military officials say that it is where South Sunrisia must come in to do its’ part on working towards the insurance of its’ own national security. Nevertheless, knowing what the military is hinting towards, the Supreme Leadership and Government had repeated that they would still not implement the selective conscription that exists within the law, saying that the armed forces have enough incoming volunteers, well-trained professionals and a well-equipped and financed army overall and that rather than “bothering the youth”, the SSRGA should use the resources given to further build South Sunrisia’s technological military potential, which already makes our country a great power at the level that we had already reached.

Officials were questioned whether USJR would be willing to station more military personnel in South Sunrisia in the future, however, the authorities said that they do not wish to pressure or abuse the already-generous ally. Meanwhile, the South Sunrisian Military has said that it is thinking about offering joint South Sunrisian–USJR military exercises and war games in South Sunrisia in the near future.
