The Bohin's Secret Weapon

It has recently become public knowledge that The Bohin has been using state of the art anti-communication systems over the entire country. Information which had been retrieved during a Molenstoni tank raid into Bohi territory had remained highly classified until it was confirmed by Rhodeve Commonwealth Army sources. The RCA was able to confirm that the system in place is the XK73 Hatotsaahit or a variant of it. The extremely powerful system was developed in Divergia, but this may be its first use during an actual conflict. RCA officials believe there to be between 25 and 35 radio transmitting towers around the country. It is yet unknown if these radio towers are located in civilian areas, military bases or on moving automotive systems.

In other news on The Bohin, Rezuan air raids on Bohi village bases leaves at least 7 dead, including four confirmed enemy combatants. The attack on the Ukhal Peninsula is still ongoing. There is heavy casualties trying to take the heavily defended fortress in the Weiffa Region. The Bohi attack on Port Ubbeval is going poorly for the ill-prepared allied forces. No immediate plans for withdrawal. "We will make them fight and die for every inch of this city." says Captain Iddi of the Malesti Forces. RCA soldiers say they require more supplies to defend the important Port City. An attack on Reikyama and other border towns are imminent.

Previously Unknown Underground Ruins Uncovered Under IGBCAC Bomber Training Field

The ruins near where they were revealed.

Earlier last weekend, a stray bomb blew the top off of a hill and opened a door to the past. The hill was found to have been partially man-made, being built over a canyon. Whether this was done by ancient Ceans as a means of defense of the ruins or by early Christian missionaries in an attempt to conceal indigenous religious sites is still unknown. Both are equally valid theories that are being brought up by archaeologists that are exploring the ruins. It seems to have been built originally in a transitional period of history, with the architecture being similar to those seen in the 4th dynasty period, while the writings in the temple and on other buildings seem to be from the 5th dynasty.

The ruins are believed to be of a mid-sized town that, based off of the artifacts, writings, and idols, was dedicated to the Cean goddess of wide rivers, Pleto (also known by more orthodox worshipers as "pltHa wiHa"). Much to the amazement of the archaeologists, the town also has several shrines dedicated to similar deities from other pantheons, each adorned with previously unseen prayers, rituals, and spells written in formerly unattested dialects of various ancient languages from other long gone nations. "It is really remarkable," says the leader of the dig site, Dr. Kavie Precu, "Really, truly, absolutely remarkable. It's like nothing I've seen in my life as an archaeologist. You would not believe how many wheelbarrows and linguists I've had to drag in here."

The crews are making rapid progress in excavating collapsed parts of the ruins and collecting artifacts to bring to various labs and universities for study. Emperor Manapa-Teshub states that, since the ruins are incredibly close to the edge of the range, the range's borders will be moved so as to allow the habitation of the ruins once they are picked clean by the archaeologists. We hope this discovery will lead to Gre Bat Ceans living abroad to take an interest in their homeland, and for those living here to have something new to learn of their history.

Ahina caught out! Montedoran elections postponed, Ahina proposes increased tariffs for trade through the Damsmarian Sea

Ahina has been caught out by secret recording! At a meeting with the Infrastructure Commission Ahina was recorded making a remark against the Engleans, after talking about infrastructure developments throughout the country and the proposed Damsmarian trade route attempting to make it easier for trade to come through Damsmar and be taken throughout Corentia. The Infrastructure Commissioner Dennes Heglemenn asked Ahina about the progress on the proposed new motorways to link The Seven United to Engleberg, of which at the moment there are none. She said, word by word: "Oh, that. Well, we've allocated money to the M1 to Caledon city project but th-illegible- is really early and not like connecting further with the imperialists is that important when we already have the M30 right next to the border." Ahina has not yet commented but has said previously that she does not regret any controversial comments she makes.

The Trade Commission has been pondering the task of making it easier for trade to flow through the Damsmarian Sea up to Damsmar and then funneled throughout Corentia, at the moment the current railway and road systems are "busting at the seams" and the Belantic railway modernization scheme "only a drop in the ocean." The infrastructure scheme is expected to run into the billions and this money will have to come from a slight increase in tariffs against nations that have not entered into a trade agreement with The Seven United. The Trade Commission also said that any rise will only occur to Non-MDAA members and nations that do not have some sort of agreement with The Seven United. It is unknown how high such increase will go, though The Commission said it will not be any higher than the cost of the scheme.

The Montedoran elections have been postponed to the 7th of December, the elections Commission cite instability and the lack of regional electional bureaucrats meaning the possibility of a skewed election, possibly in a more nationalist way. The Commission have expressed consistent want for a democratic outcome, and that will be the conclusion, just in a matter of time.

Mélior Vîttá, Former Sunrisian Leader And Soldier, Has Died

The last President of the First Republic of Sunrisia and a soldier in the Sunrisian Defense Force (SDF) – Mélior Vîttá, has passed away. Vîttá was involved in a covert anti-terrorist military operation in the neighboring Edereon, where Sunrisian special forces were deployed to aid the Ederi special forces in a crackdown operation targeting the exposed headquarters of the Ederi terrorist group – Oculus. Vîttá was part of the Sunrisian contingent and ended up being the only casualty, surprisingly not without his own choice. Fellow soldiers had reported the details.

Oculus, a terrorist group that emerged during the war in Edereon, was believed to have been defunct after MDAA had quelled the militant organization’s insurgency in eastern Edereon some time ago. Members of the terrorist organization were declared fully physically terminated by military representatives of all MDAA countries, which were only 3 at the time. Since then, the Sunrisian Prime Intelligence Division (PID) has been actively providing support to the Ederi intelligence in order to make sure that Edereon remained free of militant groups, including Oculus. The Ederi side has declared Oculus officially defunct a few months back. However, that did not seem to be the case as the surviving militants that had fled MDAA’s counter-insurgency operations overseas, have come back to apparently try and start another insurgency. It was unclear what the group’s ultimate goal was, as intelligence officials on all sides came to a consensus that Oculus planned to either capture eastern Ederi territory and form their own break-away state or that their plan was to overthrow the Ederi government and capture the whole country as a result.

After intelligence and military had discovered a secret Oculus base in southeastern Edereon, close to the Damsarian Sea, a joint Ederi–Sunrisian operation was launched to take down Oculus. Surprisingly, the operation was more difficult than it seemed, as the combined special forces saw themselves as having an advantage over the militants in numbers, trainings, weapons, equipment, strategy and other areas. However, the troops struggled to properly access the base territory and actually infiltrate the headquarters themselves. The Ederi–Sunrisian forces were locked in a shootout with Oculus militants, who were defending the base outside and had sent a surprisingly large number of reinforcements. Intelligence and military had miscalculated the numbers of terrorists and the special forces eventually ended up outnumbered. Unbeknownst to the fellow Sunrisian soldiers or the Ederi troops, Mélior Vîttá had a number of powerful modern explosives attached to himself under his uniform. When he saw an opening, Vîttá told the other soldiers to pull back and then he quickly began running towards the growing human wave of Oculus militants that were shielding access to the base. Detonating the explosives before the shower of bullets could take him down, Vîttá blew himself up in a massive explosion that took out the human wave of Oculus militants, tearing through the defense. The base was left open for Ederi and Sunrisian soldiers to infiltrate it. The remainder of Oculus militants inside was taken down, the weaponry and equipment found was confiscated, no hostages were discovered, the base was secured.

One of the Sunrisian commanders of the anti-Oculus mission on the ground made the following statement on Vîttá’s act:

“We tried to stop him and there were other ways we could have done this, even if at that moment, being cornered and having all those militants closing in on us, we didn’t think so. I believe that somewhere Mélior Vîttá knew this as well, but…..he made the choice that he had made. I think that despite stating otherwise, Vîttá had still lived with the ultimate guilt in his heart over what had happened in Sunrisia after his fall as President at the time and how he was not able to withstand and save the country as the leader. He felt that a lot depended on him and he had failed. People didn’t judge him these days and learned to forgive, but he had probably judged himself. I think that he wanted to go out with one last sacrifice for Sunrisia and for the fellow human beings. And that is what he did.”

Sunrisian soldiers that partook in the operation against Oculus in Edereon say that there might be trouble recovering any remains of Mélior Vîttá because of the explosion’s physical termination of him. Nevertheless, they believe that Vîttá deserves a proper funeral back in Sunrisia in any form.

Rensveld Files for Bankruptcy : Market Prices Drop

The long battle to stay afloat amid growing pressure from international groups proved too much for Rensveld Automotive with the company officially filing for bankruptcy this morning. The indigenous and Eikan-owned automaker had a long history of financial trouble beginning in the early 90s as share prices began to drop and sales of the company's vehicles slowed to a trickle. Despite extensive government bailouts and tax breaks, the company's situation continued to deteriorate. The final nail in the proverbial coffin was Eikangaards relaxing of international trade regulations under the Economic Revitalization Strategy, the already uncompetitive nature of Rensveld made it impossible for it to survive the influx of foreign goods. Many analysts predicted that the company's demise was only a matter of time.

Now what does the collapse of Rensveld, Eikangaard's only indigenous automaker, mean for the country at large? To the end consumer, not much when it comes time to replace the old daily driver. Long-time buyers of Rensveld vehicles could find new alternatives in Belantic, Aznazian, and Rhodeve companies, the main competitors that contributed to Rensveld's collapse. When it comes to national defense however, Rensveld was the manufacturer of nearly all vehicles for the Army, meaning that without Rensveld there could be a critical shortage of parts for our nation's tanks, trucks and APCs. With a recent commitment and deployment to far-flung molenston, this could prove a disastrous setback for our nation's armed forces.

However that's not the only major issue that Rensvelds collapse seems to have caused. With the recent economic and political tumult the country has been facing, investors into Eikan companies and businesses on the stock market were teetering on the edge of selling off their shares in these groups. Now that Rensveld has collapsed, the floodgates seem to be opening and multiple groups across the country have been reporting a sharp decrease in the value of their shares. This has already impacted our country's financial district as the Skeid dropped a full two points, and that trend is expected to continue.

It's becoming increasingly clear that if this economic slump is to be curtailed, drastic action is needed. But with Parliament tight-lipped and the line of succession in dispute it looks like such drastic action is still far away. In the meantime, we advise our readers to speak with their financial advisors and banks about how they can best protect themselves and their savings in these uncertain times.

Edereon pays tribute to Mélior Vîttá

PM Céc Mustigañ has publicly come out to pay his respects to the fallen Sunrisian Mélior Vîttá on behalf of Edereon. The man who was the last President of the First Republic of Sunrisia and a soldier in the nation’s military later in his life, has sacrificed himself in a fight against resurgent Oculus. Saving cornered Ederi and Sunrisian troops from an ambush by masses of Oculus militants, Vîttá blew himself up using powerful strapped-on explosives. He detonated the explosives when running towards Oculus militants as they were shooting at him. He killed himself but also led to a destruction of many Oculus terrorist militants in the process. This allowed the special forces of Edereon and Sunrisia to take the last Oculus stronghold, which was their base. With this climactic moment the Oculus uprising was over. PM Céc Mustigañ thanked Mélior Vîttá for a selfless sacrifice that saved the lives of Ederi soldiers, liberated Edereon from Oculus and contributed to the well-being of all humanity in the global fight on terror. Mustigañ said that Vîttá committed to his country one last time and redeemed himself in front of many Sunrisians that once felt betrayed by him. Ederi Royal Armed Forces will remain on active duty for some time to make sure that Edereon is truly free of terrorist presence. Ederi intelligence community expressed concern over the fact that they had labeled Oculus defunct yet the terrorist group was able to resurge in Orentas autonomous region out of nowhere and in big numbers. They admit having jumped to conclusions. The intelligence community declared readiness to strengthen cooperation with the military and Sunrisian counterparts to cleanse Edereon of Oculus and terror. The Ederi government declared a priority to make sure that Oculus is extinct once and for all.

While it is no secret the 41 year old Deputy Executive Minister has always been described as a "bombshell" and "gorgeous" by many across the world, no one would have expected her to become a model. While rumors did circulate that the Minister had engaged in modeling before her arise to political fame back in 2000, it was not known if she actually did. However, two photos leaked by an employee (who declined to be named) at Rogue Magazine revels that Polster had indeed engaged in modeling

The photos (above) were taken back in 2010, when Polster was 34. "Yes, I did do some modeling" Polster said when confronted by the post. "I did enjoy it, but I wanted to send a message to the world that women can be powerful and express whatever they wanted and still be validated as human beings. I had an article I wrote to go along with it, but when I found out the Rouge was using it for their sex icons of 2010 feature and ignoring the article, I pulled the pictures."

With the leak, Deputy Executive Minister Polster has stated that she intends to sue Rogue Magazine for their mishandling of the disposal of the pictures. Rogue Magazine CEO Harry Jansferarri was unable to comment but released a statement stating that "Rogue Magazine does all that it can to portray women in a positive light and that our readers understand, it simply isn't about sex"

Polster stated that she does want to return to modeling at some point, but says that her political work in ending sexual assault and rape, bringing down rape culture, and promoting women's rights is more important to her and will be the primary focus of her Ministership should she win in 2020.

The Bohin: Makings of a World War

"Good evening, I'm Steve Carrol and this Your World, on PNN. Thanks for tuning in tonight. And you'll be glad you did, because we have a breaking story out of a little known Ziamban country named Bohin. Earlier this year, the Bohin Government declared war on neighboring Molenston for the 4th time since the turn of the 20th Century. The deeply corrupt, poor country has long been an enemy of the established 1st world, making violent threats and acting irrationally on the world stage. A few months ago, they launched an artillery strike on civilian targets in Molenston, causing terrible damage and prompting the President to send medical aid. That aid, however, was canceled following multiple complaints among Commonwealth nations. Instead, the newly finished PNS Resolute was dispatched to international waters to monitor the situation. As it sat idly by, the Resolute saw the war degrade into a full scale conflict involving nations from every corner of Sunalaya.

"The Bohin launched an invasion of Molenston territory, utilizing the full force of their massive army to drive back Commonwealth Forces. Their preemptive attack bought them little, as Commonwealth forces soon began pushing back. The War worsened from there, both sides suffering hundreds to thousands of casualties. One nation notably absent from the conflict was Pantorrum. Considering our usual involvement in international crisis such as this, many people around the nation found our silence on the issue to be concerning. Did it signify a change in foreign policy? Or was international pressure simply to much to ignore? It would soon turn out that the President had been deterred from involvement after sharp criticism from world leaders for our actions in saving Konetya. With world leaders skeptical of our agenda, our military was held at bay. The conflict would soon draw even our forces in. After a civilian cargo liner was shot down over neighboring Uszwa, the Pantorran Airforce decided to take direct involvement. Almost 4,000 personnel were deployed over the course of 2 weeks to an occupied airport, renamed Thanatos Airbase, along with substantial air power. They would carry out multiple strikes on Bohi targets, with the most recent being an air assault on air defenses near the Uszwa Border.

"The involvement of our forces recently is not the first time our men have been in The Bohin. Years ago, in the 19th century, Pantorran Forces would invade the Weiffa Province and take control of its precious mineral assets. The territory would remain under our control for some time, until a Bohin assault reclaimed the ancient territory.

"Now, the wars scope has expanded yet again. With the whole of the Commonwealth fully backing Molenston, it would seem like an unfair fight. But that's if you ignore the fact that the Bohin have the back seat support of Divergia, a major military power in Ophion and across Sunalaya. With their backing, Commonwealth forces have been reduced to a tip toe, carefully avoiding war with the menacing giant of Divergia. And now, we to are involved in the bloody conflict, conducting full scale assaults with an agenda all our own, it would seem. The multisided war has all the makings of a World War, one we've been waiting for over 70 years to unfold. Divergia, seeking to secure its influence in Ziamban. Rhodevus and the Commonwealth, seeking to protect a fellow member of their organization. Bohin, determined to destroy Molenston. And Pantorrum, with an agenda mysteriously less known than the other sides. We will continue to keep a close eye on this conflict, and keep the lives of those involved in our hearts and in our prayers."

President Pearce Accepts Nomination to the Order of the Red Shield

"Yesterday afternoon, the President publically accepted the nomination to the Order of the Red Shield, and Englean Order honoring those who have stood firmly against communism and its spread. The nomination is for the President's determination to keep Konetya free from Union control, which in turn kept it free from the forming communist super power of Ophioneus. His acceptance of the nomination came with immediate criticism, with hundreds of politicians on the left and the right bringing up serious constitutional issues.

"The Pantorran Constitution clearly reads that 'No Office Holder in the United States of Pantorrum shall accept any honor, title, award, or gifts, regardless of value, nor shall they accept and title of nobility, from a foreign government.' His acceptance of the Nomination, many argue, is a direct, word for word violation of the Constitution, and Liberal Democrats argue that its an impeachable offense. Politicians weren't the only ones upset, as 300,000 citizens from all over the country gathered to protest in Cormiar. Many are already calling for the president to decline the nomination, and then resign. Similar protests erupted in neighboring Trenton, the nations largest city, where close to a million people marched down the streets in protest. This show of public dissatisfaction continues today, and is permitted to go on until Sunday. The scandal comes as the FIA announced it found new evidence, linking the President to the deployment of NSB assets in Konetya. With no information on what they were doing there, the Justice Department is skeptical that illegal activity was being conducted. And if so, this new transcript proves the President was involved in some clandestine operation.

"In combination with the NSB Scandal, the Red Shield nomination has managed to bring the President's approval ratings down to 46%, the lowest in his Presidency. Some political analysts predict it'll bottom out at 35% before the month is done. We will continue to follow this story, amid a pending Impeachment Proceeding that is being whispered among members of the House. Though unverified, we are looking into the story.

Yeonhwan Gov't To Boost Tourism in 2018

The Ministry of Rites, responsible for rituals, culture, diplomacy, and state gwageo exams (civil service examinations), has announced an initiative to bolster tourism to Yeonhwa that will be launched in January of next year.

Known as the Be Inspired Campaign, the Ministry of Rites hopes to display traditional Yeonhwan culture in an attempt to inspire people to come and experience Yeonhwa for themselves.

The Ministry of Rites will be opening Cultural Centres (문화 센터, munhwa senteo) around the nation in partnership with YBS, which tourists will be able to visit to learn more about local culture. Cultural shows will be put on display here to show traditional music and dancing, as well as cooking lessons to learn more about traditional food.

In a rare announcement Gyeongbokgung Palace, the main Royal Residence of Yeonhwa, has announced that it will be open for tours on several days next year. It will be open 27-30 January for Seollal, 1 March to commemorate the start of the War of Independence in 1915, 17 July for Constitution Day, and every Monday in October. Gyeongbokgung Palace has not been open to the public since 1947.

Tourists visiting Gyeongbokgung Palace on 17 July will be able to enter a compitition in which 20 winners will be invited to enjoy a traditional Yeonhwan Tea Ceremony with King Hwapyeon himself on 20 July.

Elections postponed AGAIN?! Montedoran Insurgents prepare for "War" plus the restoration of the Montedoran Palace of the Mizkeni

Our top stories today on Montedoran News; The regional elections have been postponed again to the 14th of December with the UNP still blacklisted. The thought to be defunct Montedoran Insurgent group has said they will "prepare for war" on the Union plus the native tribe Mizkeni palace is to be restored at a cost of $A 23.6 million over the course of 20 years.

The Commission has announced that the regional elections for The Montedoran will be postponed to the 14th of December 2017, before Christmas. The announcement came as no surprise since no election preparation had been made for the now not upcoming one. The Commission has commented each time saying that it is highly likely that if an election happened sooner than later, there will be vote skewing and rampant inaccuracy blaming regional officials loyal to the UNP, which even though has been suspended along with the regional parliament they still "Pull strings." Protests are still being pitched outside the Montedoran parliament, with over fifty thousand taking to a march tomorrow showing a will for a democratic outcome. MNN interviewed many civis and found that there is a strong will for a democratic outcome, be it against the referendum or with it. (Even though the UNP is suspended, the Alt Liberals still declare themselves pro referendum choice.)

The defunct MIS (Montedoran Insurgent Group) has declared that they will be reawakening if the UNP are still forbidden from the elections, with one of our reporters going to visit the "leader" in an undisclosed location, he had this to say through his mask and edited voice.
"We've been dormant, for a long time. Many of us doing jobs, raising families. None of us have forgot our duties to the Montedoran state. Never have we been under such a dictatorship since the Empire, and the advent of the suspension of the nationalist party UNP along with the continual electioneering and postponing we have no choice but to force a new way of politics into the sick, Damsmarian mind."

The reporter has not committed any crime in interviewing this man and not reporting.

The Mizkeni was a kingdom in The Montedoran, residing in the mountains and wetland they existed in peace and isolation for over 500 years, from 1097 CE to 1523 CE. The "kingdom" built many temples, palaces and prayer stones throughout the Montedoran landscape, some still found in the forests untouched today, encased in ivy and vegetation untouched. The most famous and one of the last remaining Mizkeni palaces has fallen into disrepair, with continuous mountain snowfall and repetitious landslides near the area threatening the building, built to house the King of the Mizkeni. The time when it was built is under scrutiny, with some archaeologists and historians saying in the mid 1400s. However, there is no written evidence for any date on the building, infact the only hard evidence for the existence of the building is a mosaic floor belonging to a presumed nobles marble house (now a part of the Portonegrin Museum) showing the Battle of The Grapes in 1523 CE, which has the palace in the background on the same mountain where it exists today. The restoration was approved by the Culture Commission with 23.6 million Argents devoted to the project over a course of 20 years. The restoration will attempt to stop marble cracking, place safeguards for landscapes and secure the crumbling foundations of the building. It has came late, with some criticizing the late decision. Historian and Author James McKelomy told us that he welcomed it, though it was shockingly late. "This is really, really shockingly late. The buildings foundations should have been restored and secured thirty years ago, its only a ticking time bomb now. Any earthquake, or tremor for that matter and a landslide will wipe this treasure out for good. Its only the wisest choice now that they move the jewels and pottery out of there before such a thing may happen."

In one of our other news, The Education Commission has begun reasserting Latin into lingual classes. Latin will become a secondary choice along with another language (French/Spanish). This comes as Latin is fading from state secondary/post-primary schools while privata scholarum still reinforce the dead but not extinct language. The move has been welcomed as a good step forward especially for those wishing to practice in highly technical, medical or scientific studies where such an inflected language is necessary for classifications and meanings. The regional Educational Commission denied adding Latin to the curriculum but the now direct ruled Montedoran Commission has accepted the plans and has enscribed it into the immediate curriculum with A-Level examinations on the chosen subject beginning in 2019. Pantorran jet buzzes Chernomoretski Corvette

Military on alert as tensions rise between the two nations

A Victory class corvette on a routine patrol was buzzed by a Pantorran jet fighter at around 9:00 this morning. Officials state that the aircraft circled around twice before finally heading back towards Pantorran airspace. The flyby has put the military on alert as tensions begin to rise once again between Novorossiysk and Pantorrum.

A detailed government report covering the incident tells that the Victory class corvette was on a routine patrol to the outskirts of Chernomoretski territorial waters when the aircraft was first identified. The jet fighter buzzed the vessel, flying above Chernomoretski waters for a short period of time, before turning around and buzzing the vessel again. After repeating the maneuver the aircraft returned back into the direction of Pantorrum. The government has released several photos and videos confirming that the aircraft involved was Pantorran. No shots were fired between the two sides. Despite this the aggressive move from Pantorrum has left much of Novorossiysk uneasy.

Pantorrum conquered Novorossiysk in the 1400s and remained in control of the city until 1951 when the Chernomoretski War for Independence began. Novorossiysk had been left in ruins during the two world wars, with many Chernomoretski men fighting for Pantorrum. When they returned home they found a city in rubble that the Pantorrans did not care about, sparking the rebellion. After several months of fighting a decisive defeat to Pantorran forces lead to peace talks between the two sides. Pantorrum agreed to grant Novorossiysk indpendence and to recognize the independence of the new Chernomoretski city state. Despite the conclusion of the war, Pantorrum continued to make aggressive moves against Novorossiysk. Since the 1960s Novorossiysk's military has been put on alert countless times, with war almost breaking out between the two sides in 1970 and 1992. Pantorrum once again seems to be applying pressure to the Chernomoretski government and asserting their authority in the region with a quite aggressive move.

The Chernomoretski government released a short statement condemning the actions of the Pantorrans, saying that the city state will "not be phased by Pantorran aggression." Both the navy and the airforce have begun to ramp up patrols and a small amount of soldiers have been put on standby within the city in the event of continued aggression.

Earlier today, what can only be presumed as a response to perceived "buzzing", Novorossiysk fighter craft came within less than 20 miles of Pantorran Airspace. The move was viewed by a direct challenge to Pantorran dominance over the Centismar region. The aircraft was detected well before it came within 20 miles of our airspace, but by the time a squadron of F-22's were scrambled to intercept, the craft had already turned around. Regardless, the President has prepared a rather unique response. In a Press Conference today, the Secretary of Defense made it clear that "Novorossiysk will not be allowed to challenge our influence in the region", and that the Navy was preparing an "adequate response", as to ensure that the "Novorossiysk aggression" doesn't go unchecked.

When asked about the accusation of a Pantorran Fighter Jet buzzing a Novorossiysk Frigate, the Secretary confirmed.
"Yes, earlier today a Pantorran F-22 traveling at an extraordinarily low altitude moved at high speed over a foreign vessel. The Aircraft was attempting to remind the Novorossiysk Navy that the Centismar is not there's to patrol."
The surprising confession comes only after the irrefutable evidence was released on video. The aircraft did more than one buzzing, turning around and performing multiple other attempts to intimidate the ship and its crew.

The Navy decided to deploy its own contingent of forces to permanently monitor the Centismar. A Wasp Class Amphibious Assault Ship, 2 Sa'ar 5 Frigates, and a single Astute Class Submarine were deployed from the Browning Naval Yard, destined for 22 miles out from Novorossiysk. The vessels are under strict orders not to engage in combat, but to monitor and deter the boldness of the City State. The President refused to answer any questions, and refused to acknowledge that we to had acted aggressively. The sudden rise in tensions yet again marks the first time since 1992 that our two nations have risen to this level of tension. The increase in pressure on the City State comes amid speculation that the President is attempting to start a war, in order to revive nationalism and reignite the publics faith and support in him as their President. The move had a surprisingly similar affect, with many Pantorrans we interviewed expressing confidence in the President for standing strong on our foreign policy. The uptick in aggression comes to soon for polling to indicate any changes, but some political experts predict that the reigniting of Nationalism could have no affect. With the NSB investigation picking up steam, the President's approval rating sits at an abysmal 29%.

Despite this, the Speaker of the House announced today that the Conservative Body would proceed with hearings on Articles of Impeachment. Late last night, the FIA announced that a Warrant they received from a Federal Judge gave them access to multiple NSB files last month. The files they sought had been conveniently destroyed hours before the FIA arrived at the NSB Headquarters. What they did find was a memo from the Executive Office of the President, ordering the NSB to destroy any reference to Konetya or "Operation Rising Star". The memorandum is not proof of Presidential wrong doing, which is why the Speaker ordered the House Oversight Committee and the House Judiciary Committee to begin Impeachment Hearings against President William Pearce. The Committee will interview the President's entire staff, in an attempt to ascertain whether or not the President order the memo to be sent, or if he was unaware all together.

The Oversight Committee will also be investigating whether or not the acceptance of a foreign honor constitutes impeachment or not. The move is a clear violation of the Constitution, but only certain violations of the Pantorran Constitution are actually impeachable. Political analysts predict that the president will face at least one Article of Impeachment by next week, and maybe three if the investigation into Corruption and Obstruction of Justice yield results. Both Obstruction of Justice and Corruption would yield criminal consequences if convicted by the Senate, including Prison time up to 25 years.

The President, however, remained undeterred in the arena of Konetya. He announced last week that repeated Azovskayan attacks on the Konetya Province since the signing of the cease fire has prompted him to deploy an additional 4,000 troops to Konetya over the next 4 weeks, boosting the total deployment to 16,000 personnel. The move gained immense criticism from multiple Liberals and disappointment from Conservatives, who all cited the move as a clear indication that the President isn't taking their investigation seriously, and that he intends to continue his bullish foreign policy despite immense unpopularity. One Senator said that, should the House approve Articles of Impeachment, the Senate has a 90% chance of convicting before December is out.

The chairman of the UdR called the lack of staff in the military 'A severe urgency' And further defended the bill with: 'Under our current system, parliament is fully able to reinstate active conscription during emergencies'.

The bill, which will be voted on next week, received a massive backlash from the Pirate Party and the Green Progressives. Both parties found it to be discrimination against people with a degree in IT. The Pirate Party found that the bill was a way of indoctrinating a young generation of programmers who, according to them, should be helping the world by writing fair and open source code, rather than helping security services listening in on civilians. The Union of Democrats also spoke out against reinstating conscription, but in a more nuanced fashion. Party leader Van Leeuwen stated that the Union of Democrats is in favour of making the military a viable and worthwhile option for youth, rather than forcing them in to it.

So far the Liberal Party, Union of Christians, Lindenholt Forwards and United Seniors have pledged to support the bill. According to political commentator Hans Veerle this is yet an other example of the limited cohesion of the cabinet. 'UD and LP have many things in common. So do the UD and GP. As the weeks compound, Pantorrum continues to demand international prestige through the use of its armed forces. Only this time, they had the audacity to claim international waters as their own. The Pantorran government admitted to buzzing a Novorossiyskian corvette that was on patrol in the Centismar Sea. They have claimed that they were justified in doing so because they consider themselves the superior power in the Centismar Sea. Their actions could not be further from the truth.

The Centismar Sea is, for the most part, international waters. International waters means just that, internationally owned. No one nation may claim the right to control waters not included in their own sovereign waters, as per USA regulation. By claiming the right to harass whomever they wish in the Centismar Sea, the Pantorrans have essentially claimed the entire sea for themselves. This is a vile mockery of the United Sunalayan Alliance, an organization they are a part of. Yet, they have chosen to ignore international waters for the sake of their "sphere of power".

The Rezuan Empire shall not tolerate such an abuse of power. This does not mean, however, that we will fling our military around like children. Rezua has worked hard to implement "Diplomacy First" in may situations. Rarely is the use of force required, the current Bohi War being an exception. Nevertheless, diplomacy was used. Rather than buzz the warship of a sovereign nation, Pantorrum should have expressed their opinion in words, wrong though it is. It's not just immoral, it's illegal. Any nation may use the Centismar freely. That is the law of the USA, not of the Rezuan Empire. But it is a law that we follow, again, unlike Pantorrum. And while Novorossiysk's response was hostile in nature and Rezua does not endorse it officially, who cannot help but feel they were somewhat right? Use of military assets before diplomacy is wrong but who can blame Novorossiysk when the Pantorrans have threatened them with war again and again? The frustration that they feel must be unimaginable by nations who are blessed with wise and just (or at least responsible) leaders.

Also, take a look at their treatment of Konetya. They continue a proxy war with Azovakaya because they will not let the international community take over peace keeping. 4,000 more troops are being sent to Konetya. For what purpose is this? To protect the Konetyan people? No, they helped win a war with less that what they have now. So why keep adding? To further subjugate the Konetyans.

How does this relate to our ally Novorossiysk? Simply: Pantorrum wants to regain control of the city, as they have been trying for decades. Pantorrum takes and takes and takes. This greedy and grasping hand must be stopped. Emperor Augustus Everen I supported the Novorossiyskans right to fight against tyrannical rulers during 1951 when the Chernomorets War for Independence took place. And tyranny is exactly what Pantorrum employs today. Against the will of his people, William Pierce remains in power. He will not met with the committee trying to impeach him to try to set things straight. No, he continues to write his list of sins!

What can be concluded from this? The administration in power in Pantorrum is a threat to international security. President William Pierce is power hungry, just as Zoey Hanji and Donald Krump were. Action must be called for before civilians lie dead in the streets of in the iron fist of a tyrant! Empress Ymira Everen-Abrams has requested an audience with William Pierce to discuss the toning down of his ambitions. If he does not meet with the empress, Rezua shall endorse the impeachment of William Pierce. In the event that he does not get impeached, further hostile actions will force the empress to bring Pierce to the United Sunalayan Alliance courts for abuse of power and endangering the lives of Ventismar with unprovoked militarization.

Initial reports coming from both weather stations across the world, the UIN, Layfetian weather satellites and COMSCAN state that the POD has used a nuclear device on its own people. The device struck Mount Redguage with 10 megatons of force, causing a nuclear fire to spread across the area. Initial death reports are near three million, but there could be more.

After the device was struck, General Rochus Stroman, currently the defacto leader of the POD broadcasted this message: "Attention rulers, and citizens, of the world. While you may attempt to hide your intentions from me, your involvement in our conflict is not warranted. I do believe that we have made our intentions to defend ourselves rather clear in our most recent nuclear detonation. As I wish to avoid unnecessary conflict at this terrible time, you would do well to note that this device was detonated within Renedge, and is merely meant to serve as a warning to those wishing to be involved in our war. You are hereby ordered to cease all military activities directed at preparing to engage in this conflict. Should you fail to comply, you risk facing the wrath of Renedge. That is all."

With this message, Executive Minister Edmond Dantes called an emergency session of Congress to discuss the crisis and Congress appropriated the building of at least ten nuclear devices as well as the deployment of the advanced intercept system to prevent any nuclear device from hitting Layfet. Layfet was also placed at DEFCON 3. Congress gave the authority to the Minister to deploy home fleet which is currently on its way towards the POD, but will remain in international waters and will serve as a deterrent.

Meanwhile, Secretary-General of the United Intelligence Network Oliver Cromwell is seeking to get in contact with the POD's Foreign Minister in order to resolve the crisis. If it can't Cromwell says a UIN mission to the POD might be warranted. We will bring you updates as this story progresses.

Queen Karen Accepts Awards From the Kaiserriech
Since it's announcement, many have wondered whether Queen Karen would accept the awards granted to her by several officials in the Kaiserriech nearby. However, my opinion on Pantorrum's government and it's recent antics is not the highest to say the least. Then again, they are the people who like to use fear tactics to subject their own rule over others, it is simply a culture that revolves around constant fighting, which to me, and many Belanticans, is not a culture to be proud of. They act like uncultured brutes to anyone that even says something negative to them, and I'm sure they'll act just the same towards me, like the bottomfeeders they are. I say that those that came before us made a mistake after the Great World War (OOC: this is what Belantica calls WW2) to not disarm the nation when they had the chance, but history will repeat itself, meaning that someday, they will be smacked down by the world once more."

She then answered questions on her awards, being the Order of the Red Shield, Order of the Kaiser, and the Kriegskreuz 2nd Class. She also mentioned that is congrats recipients of other and similar awards granted to them. The Queen also noted that this has helped strengthened the long-lasting bond between the two nations that has existed for several decades.

Despite Losses, Belantic, and Molenstoni Forces Retook Nelspsruit from The Bohin
In a surprising turn of events, Molenstoni and Belantic forces managed to retake the Molenstoni border city of Nelspsruit. Despite the victory, the was losses on both sides, with 300 Belantic troops, 100 Molenstoni troops, and a still unknown number of Bohi troops. At 6 in the morning yesterday, Captain Hilda Weiss lead 3,500 Belantic and 680 Molenstoni troops into the city, and almost immediately felt resistance from the occupying Bohi forces. It took 2 hours for allied forces to breach the city center, as Bohi troops were heavily fortified within the city's many structures. The Belantic forces took extra care when entering the city, in order to prevent further destruction of the city when it was possible. It was believed that at about noon, Molenstoni forces were able to capture the city's main government building, turning control of the area back to it's proper owner, Molenston. By 2 in the afternoon, Bohi forces started to flee back towards The Bohin, knowing that Nelspsruit was ripped from their tyrannical hands, vacating the city 2 hours later. By 4 in the afternoon, it was believed that the majority of Bohi units within Nelspsruit have fled the area, leaving the city firmly under the control of Belantica and Molenston.

As of now, the Molenstoni government now has total control of the city, and Weiss' infantry units will remained stationed in the city until their next set of orders. Currently, the Belantic units are assisting the Molenstoni government for peacekeeping within the city, as well as hunting down any remaining Bohi units in the vicinity. It is believed that military police will take over this role, as the army continues it's efforts to push back The Bohin on it's own side of the border. Captain Weiss said that those who have fallen will "honored as heroes for their sacrifice" and that she will hold a moment of mourning for those lost in battle later this evening. Weiss also stated that the bodies of the fallen will be transported back to Belantica where they have their final rest in their homeland. "Their names will be remembered," Weiss said, "as they have sacrificed more than many to push out The Bohin and their foul intentions on the people of Molenston, and thus, they will be honored by myself for giving up more than many of us want to, and that is why I am honored to fight with them."

Traffic in Aygon city is getting worse, the future of the river Bejidar

Aygon city is the capital of The Seven United, and the arguably most important city in the Damsmarian region. It hosts a vibrant Damsmarian population, of over 3.2 million. Though there is a huge problem haunting it. , as infrastructure proves inadequate and the old buildings begin to get lined in poisonous chemicals from car exhausts, what are we to do? The Aygon Council has described the problem as dire, and have requested additional funds in creating new solutions and the Commission is said to respond in a few weeks regarding more money for infrastructure projects to ease traffic flow.

There is no forced solution, as the interior of the city has many old colonial buildings, designated as historically important they can never be demolished for the construction of roads or upgrades. The mediocre skyscrapers poking up can't be demolished either, with some of these having been built in very awkward places, owing to the planning commission being almost non existent in the past decade. The council has made the planning commission for the Aygon reform, but this has came too late. Many roads are inadequate for the new residences popping up around them, and the biggest pinch is seen here surprisingly. The M50 and M1 have been seeing increasing amount of gridlocks, and some days tolls have been forced to close to improve traffic flow. The pressure is going to increase, as the population increases. The Council has poured millions into rebuilding old roads, repaving and creating one way systems though this has not came to much help.

Green campaigners have said that hard engineering isn't working anymore and buses, trams and metros have to be installed to stop people from using cars in the first place. Sevlink have been expanding heavily and have commented to this today: "We hope that something is done to help buses and taxis. There are little bus only lanes, and this has lead to increased congestion."

In other news, the River Bejidar which flows through the capital has been drying up. Fed by the Bejidari mountains the river has been seeing problems. While tight river legislation has helped fish populations recuperate, the river is drying up and fast due to the hotter, longer dry seasons and the lack of snow melt in the Bejidari mountains. The problem is also caused by diversions in The Cyprexe, which Aygon has no control over. The Cyprexe have been diverting water for the farming industry there which has seen heavy subsidizations. The Cyprexe have committed to keeping the River Beji/Bejidar clean and healthy despite the diversions they have been planning.

Belran-Recently in the Centismar Sea the nation of Pantorrum buzzed a Novorossiyskian Frigate in legally defined international waters, as noted by the Foreign Ministry "a clear and brazen act of foreign imperialism illegal under USA law". These waters as confirmed by Panorrum themselves are international waters not under the control by any power, and under USA law are able to be used freely by all countries.
The Foreign Ministry of the People's Republic has commissioned an inquiry into the matter and is worried that such brazen acts of imperialism could lead to encroachment of Esotanan waters and trade lines. Thus far it has only released a statement, however, more serious actions are expected within the future

Noting the clear and brazen imperialism by Panorrum in the Centismar Sea, the People's Republic is worried and concerned about future encroachments and the absolute disregard for international law shown by the Republic of Panorrum in the Centismar. Pantorrum is attempting to disregard the clear laws of the sea that are a foundation in international diplomacy, and any actions to do away so is extremely worrying, especially in our region. Esotana will not hesitate in the expansion of its military forces and international cooperation to protect rightful international waters and we hope Pantorrum can stop such blatant actions and regard international law. All nations must be involved in the protection of these laws if they want to keep trade moving freely and their own trade free from barriers. This action could set a worrying precedent for other nations to engage in such reckless imperialism.

The Ministry has applauded the statement by Rezua and hoped to cooperate on protecting further encroachment on the Centismarian Sea itself. The Minister of Diplomacy has called for a meeting in Belran to discuss further cooperation in the fight to protect the Centismar. The People's Liberation Army of Esotana is using the situation to further call for a budget increase and expand it's presence, with major rallies held in major cities. The PLAE has already begun the deployment of vessels and planes to protect Esotanan trade and supervise our sovereign waters from threats. On the other side of the spectrum pacifists and pacifist parties are calling for diplomatic action before expansion of the military. In universities all over the country they held massive pro-peace rallies opposing the controversial bill that would see a rise in the military budget and massive expansion of the arms sector.

Travelling to a pro raise rally in the middle of Bukhgein, in the Novoiasonian region we saw former generals and soldiers leading the rally, with often strong young men following them. Holding up flags of the Marxist Leninist and other nationalist party they sung chants about how the budget needs to be raised. Students all over were holding large signs and chanting "WE DON'T NEED MORE TAXES AND SOCIAL IMPERIALISM". A few students were holding a counter rally however as it appeared at this local university people clearly wanted peace. I talked with an activist over the bill and why he opposes it.
Reporter: So speaking of the bill, why do you oppose it?
Anton Olehovych Osypenko: This bill clearly threatens the neutrality that has made our republic so prosperous, for vague visions of strength. Why should I pay more tax to fight against an invisible enemy? If we want to continue maintaining our prosperity we must stay neutral, people will rise up as they see fit.

Both of these perspectives are different and the debate will only expand with the recent buzzing. This Saturday the People's Assembly is expected to open up a discussion and the debate is as heated as ever.

Gyeongbokgung Palace, residence of the Royal Family of Yeonhwa, have announced the engagement of Princess Yi Se-Eun to Prince Friedrich Wilhelm of Engleberg. Princess Se-Eun is the oldest child of King Hwapyeon and for nearly 10 years was the heir apparent to the Royal Throne before Crown Prince (Wangseja) Yi Ho-Jin was born.

The announcement has come with some controversy for both nations involved. The Royal Family practice confucianism officially and perform many important confucian rites, however Prince Friedrich Wilhelm is Christian.

Because Princess Se-Eun is second in line to the Yeonhwan throne, and her first child would be third in line until Wangseja Ho-Jin produces an heir, this has caused concern amongst many high-ranking State Officials. Inspector General Park Ki-hyeok, head of the Office of Inspector General, has called for her abdication to any rights to the throne perpetually, meaning her descendents will not be eligable to the throne.

This was done in 1923 when Crown Prince Yi Hyeok-yim married a Christian convert before converting himself. The throne passed to his younger brother, King Hwajo, in 1937.

The decision has been called controversial by some Englean outlets as well, citing it to be the first instance of an Englean Royal to marry a non-white.

Although in Yeonhwa history royal weddings of any immediate family member have been large ocassions, Princess Yi Se-Eun and Prince Friedrich Wilhelm's wedding will be a small gathering closed to the public.

BREAKING: Tsezar orders partial mobilization

Pantorrum moves warships outside of Novorossiysk

Tsezar Pavlyuchenko has ordered the partial mobilization of the military due to the recent deployment of Pantorran warships to Chernomoretskiwaters. The navy has been put on high alert and soldiers have begun routine patrols in and around the capitol district. Several SAM units have also been moved to busy locations within the city along with accompanying troops.

Following accusing Novorossiysk of buzzing a Pantorran vessel, the Pantorran government has deployed an amphibious assault ship, 2 frigates, and a submarine 22 miles from Novorossiysk. The Chernomoretski Government admitted to buzzing the craft, calling the move as retaliation for the Pantorran aircraft that buzzed a Chernomoretski vessel just hours before. The Tsezar held a public conference where he discussed the situation. When asked what his response would be to the deployment of warships, the Tsezar used it as an opportunity to announce the partial mobilization of the military and the start of patrols in the city.

A more detailed statement released by the military tells that several units from each branch of the military have been mobilized and will begin routine patrols both on land, in the air, and in Chernomoretski territorial waters. The report emphasizes the fact that patrols are being conducted within Chernomoretski territory and that Chernomoretski forces have orders to not engage Pantorran forces unless attacked first. SAM units have already been spotted in several larger city locations such as the Capitol District and in Heroes’ Square. Accompanying these units are several mechanized infantry units as well as troops patrolling around these areas. Exact locations of ground defenses have not been revealed by the government but it is safe to assume that there are several more scattered throughout the city.

“The Tsezar is justified in his action” says political expert Yuri Denisov. “Pantorrum recent aggression across the globe shows they aren’t afraid to engage in a conflict to gain some territory. It was only a matter of time until the crosshairs fixed onto Novorossiysk. Despite the action being justified, mobilization, even partial, is sure to stir up even more trouble and make things even more tense than before. It would be no surprise is Pantorrum used the mobilization as an excuse for ramping up military presence in the Centismar. Either way the Tsesar acts, Pantorrum will find a way to exploit his decision, making the conflict very one sided and complicated for the Chernomoretski government.”

the Strategic Defense Initiative (S.D.I) has formally been revitalized under the operation of the Communist Reich of Kiez.

Following the confirmation of the usage of a 10 Megaton Nuclear Device by the PODian Community of Renedge, which also resulted in the loss of possibly more than Three Million people, the Ministry of Defense issued a formal announcement regarding the situation as well as General Stroman's message to the people of the world: "Not only do the recent actions of General Rochus Stroman show that community of Renedge represents a clear danger to the stability of not only Ophion, but Sunalaya itself. The power behind a Nuclear Weapon is meant to be handed by those responsible enough not to abuse it's power merely on a whim. One, These Naval Units are hereby forbidden to control the flow of non-military units to and from their destination.
Two, In the event that hostilities between the Empire of Pantorrum and Chernomoret break out, the Kiez naval units stationed in the Centismar Sea are only allowed to intervene in the event that their naval units are placed in direct danger.
Three, Under no circumstances is the Kiez 3rd Fleet to interact in any way with any Pantorrum Naval Units stationed in the Centismar Sea. Incident report at Aviary facility/Umbrellya abolishes capital punishment

SOKACZOW - At approximately 10:38 on Friday morning, an Aviary lab located in Oazada County in the south of the Óskka Islands exploded. The explosion occurred within the 3rd Circuit of the Energy Bay inside of the laboratory’s South Wing. An investigation conducted by the provincial authorities found that the explosion was a result of a short circuit that expanded into a large electrical explosion; causing a shockwave within the 3rd Circuit and destroying the Energy Bay. Unfortunately, several buildings and devices adjacent to the Energy Bay were affected. Other structures damaged include: the Aquatics building, Avian building, and storage rooms: 12-35.
While nothing outside of the Energy Bay experienced collateral damage, several reports suggest a dramatically decreased bird population inside of the Avian building. The explosion resulted in the 2nd level’s ceiling becoming partially compromised and subsequently collapsing.

Aviary labs released a statement early Saturday morning confirming the situation and also warning foreign governments within the Ziamban area that 17 of the Beige Fletchings (known to be native to Bohin) have escaped the institution. Reasons for their residency in the laboratory are not yet quite clear, but Aviary has affirmed all 17 birds will be destroyed as soon as possible. Considering the many political obstacles Aviary sometimes encounters with countries less fond of them, the company has stated that if governments refuse to cooperate with them, they will not be able to terminate any birds that are located within those countries.

Already, 8 birds have been identified and destroyed by Aviary patrols inside of Óskka province; however more than 5 are feared to have traveled to neighboring countries, particularly South of the facility. The birds have red tags on their left feet, which allows Aviary to track their locations once they come within 150km of a patrol. However, the company will be privately detailing the whereabouts to a bird’s location if sed location is within the political boundaries of another country, and has requested the birds be terminated in the first chance given.

During his second term in office, Gdańsk has once again shocked Umbrellya by reforming Umbrelliet legal law; this time by abolishing capital punishment nation-wide. Before today, only a handful of crimes could be awarded with the death penalty, even then, the perpetrator had to show signs of no regret or blatant incivility to be put down. Once the perpetrator displayed such signs, they were marked as “jednorazowa” or J, meaning disposable; in which the state gives the green light to the victim, the victim’s family or the victim’s lawyer decide whether or not they wish for the perpetrator to be executed.

However, PM Gdańsk has abolished the death penalty as a whole (via Bill G/87) from the Umbrelliet legal system. In an address to the nation, he supported this bill by securing its ability to “preserve the sacredness and fragility of human life” and ensure that “malevolent actions are not rewarded with easy endings and painless consequences.” In Bill G/87, Clause 7 Part C clearly states that perpetrators of “odious crimes against humanity” including first degree murder, rape, conspiracy to commit populicide, and terrorism, among others, will be stripped of their status as an Umbrelliet citizen and will be transported to a specialized correctional facility with altered legal rights. With their alternate citizenship status, they are tagged by the government with the assumption they are incapable of basic civility; thus they cannot interact with other humans. Until residents can prove they are capable of “human emotion”, they will remain there indefinitely; as they are a safety hazard to Umbrellas and foreign nationals.

Muínis, Roscrea - The little village of Beagán Croch is described as idealic. The sweeping hills that surround it, the country lanes and creek that runs through it. In recent years Beagán Croch has become a popular tourist destination wishing to see Roscrean country life. The small village, however, has a forgotten history. It was in Beagán Croch that the Blazing Flame faction was established in 1928.

Originally known as the Blazing Fury, the Blazing Flame faction is a radical minority of the Church of the Eternal Fire. The second largest religion, adherents to the Eternal Flame find themselves at odds with Roscrea's largest indiginous religion, the Old Way, proclaiming the Old Gods to be evil spirits meant to deceive man and guide them away from the one true god, the Eternal Fire.

Declaiming magic as evil, followers of the Eternal Fire have for centuries put those found guilty to the stake, believing the fire will cleanse them of the stains of magic. Views on magic have varied historically, ranging from magic right from fantasy down to herbalism and mysticism. Although very few believe in magic today, especially not the kind found in fantasy fiction today, adherents to the Eternal Fire continue to refuse herbalism and mysticism. The Blazing Flame, however, continue to denounce all forms of magic, insisting it is "very real, and very alive."

Founding in response to the criminalisation of burning those accused of magic by the People's Republic of Roscrea in 1927, the Blazimg Flame insist that they will "rain the wrath of the Eternal Fire down upon all mankind." Although relicated to the fringes of society today, the Blazing Flame has not been officially denounced by official Church Hierarchy, and until May of 2016 was listed as an official wing of the Church. Despite this, they have only been a vocal minority, demanding religious rights to be respected by the Government of the People's Republic.

However, in the early hours of the morning on the 29th of November the local Fire Brigade was alerted to a large fire blazing atop a local hill near the village of Beagán Croch. When the fire brigade arrived thirty minutes later, around 6:30 AM, they were shocked at the scene they discovered. Local police arrived shortly after. In a large circle 12 piles had been erected, each with a burnt torso tied to them. In front of each a sign with the name of each individual was found, along with the crime they were found guilty of. In the centre of the circle another sign was found stating the "reckoning of the Eternal Fire has begun." Amongst the victims of the burning were four tourists.

• Micheal O'Sullivan, 29. Accused of witchcraft
• Victoria Galbraith, 30. Accused of practicing herbalism
• Zverev Georgiy Borisovich, 47. Citizen of Novorossiysk. Accused of witchcraft
• Christopher Thompson, 29. Citizen of Belantica. Accused of practicing herbalism.
• Christina Grey, 43. Citizen of Pantorrum. Accused of witchcraft
• Thomas Grey, 17. Citizen of Pantorrum. Accused of witchcraft

Thomas Grey was the youngest victim in the incident. He was visiting Roscrea with his mother, Mrs. Christina Grey. So far the Church of the Eternal Fire has not yet condemned the actions of the radical group and have opted to remain silent on it, despite pressure from government to condemn them.

Local Police Chief, Tómas Ó Háinle, a second cousin to one of the victims, Máire Ní Áinle, stated it appears that all 12 victims were brought to the location in the early hours of the morning. Under the moonlight a trial appears to have been held, although the victims remained bound and gagged throughout the ordeal, preventing them from appealing or defending themselves. Mr. Ó Háinle stated after the trial it appears each victim was stripped completely nude, before being branded on the stomach. Each accused of witchcraft was branded with the letter A, for asarlaíocht (Irish for witchcraft). Each accused of herbalism was branded with the letter l for luibhliacht (irish for herbalism). Each accused of divination was branded with the letter F for fáidheadóireacht (Irish for divination) and Mr. McIntyre was branded with D for draoi (Irish for Druid).

A thirteenth victim was found nearby, but they were not burnt at the stake. Instead, they had been branded on the forehead with the letter T for tréigtheoir, meaning deserter. The thirteenth victim has not yet been identified, but due to the branding it appears they had deserted the Blazing Flame. They likely attempted to flee before being stabbed multiple times in the back.

Government officials have already condemned the incident, stating it is not only a tragedy, but a disgusting affront to the progressive ideas of Roscrea. Government officials have vowed that all those responsible for the incident will be brought to "full justice under the Roscrean Constitution and Law." Police are urging anyone with information about the Blazing Flame to come forward.

Earlier today President Mugharz met for the first time with the President of Pantorrum, William Pearce. President Mugharz is on a trip to Pantorrum, the trip was delayed due to some technical problem's on Mugharz's airplane. Mugharz arrived yesterday and met with President Pearce today. They talked about thinks like trade relations and had struck on a deal on exporting things such as exporting 150 Billion of products to eachother's nations. The two nations' exports include gold, silver, natural gas, and rubber. The two had not made much talks relating to military issues, a little bit was reported said about Novorossiysk. Pantorrum, having issues within such as Pearce's connection to Konetya. The President of Dirkhizistan also mentioned things within Dirkhizistan, the possible threat of radical islam growing in the country, and the fear of a rumored islamist coup being planned within the military. Of everything said, the biggest thing done at the trip was the trade deal between the two being made. Many Dirkhizistanis believe the president is trying to spread his influence to other countries across Sunalaya.

Navy to resume patrols of the 'Homeless Islands'

The Navy today announced plans to begin patrolling the Homeless Islands again. These islands which serve as an effective no-mans land between Librira and Cascadia. in the past This region was patrolled by both nations navies. however, the navy wants to resume patrols of this vital region in order, to better secure Librira's coasts, and to guarantee safe shipping and so on through that region. At the moment only the 2nd Patrol Group has been assigned to it, though the navy said that It would rotate groups in and out of the patrol route. The navy mentioned the benefits of the patrol route would help increase Navy readiness, and determine any faults in the Navy's protocol. Additionally, it would provide additional security for commercial sailing in the region and would help secure the waters of neighbors. The revival of this Patrol could also signal the return of other past military readiness programs, such as Active Air patrols, and others. At this time, however, the Secretariat of Defense has not mentioned any details if any other past programs like this would return.
