Sunrisia Measures The Scope Of A Nuclear Shield
The Department of Security and the Sunrisian Defense Force are jointly engaged in measuring the scope of a nuclear shield that Sunrisia could overall set up and where. What is taken into consideration are not just Sunrisia’s borders, but also allied countries, in case Sunrisia is engaged in more nuclear defense sharing by providing allies with missile defense systems and other anti-nuclear defensive weaponry, if they ask for it or if Sunrisia offers it. The last time Sunrisia engaged in nuclear defense sharing was by stationing ballistic missile defense systems in Lindenholt and Umbrellya. Although the priority was the national security of the two partner states individually, both systems sort of contributed to a larger nuclear shield for a portion of Western Ventismar. The systems still remain stationed, guarded and protected there. Now, defense and military officials are looking through the hypothetical future possibility of providing the same sort of services for Sunrisia’s immediate neighbors, who are also all MDAA allies, in case there is ever a need. Most likely, they are referring to a collective nuclear shield for Western Corentia or maybe more of the continent, in case more countries would be interested. Such a nuclear defense sharing program is also being considered for possible future partners in other parts of the world. Creating a larger umbrella for itself and for its friends is big and ambitious project, which is why Sunrisia is now measuring its capabilities to weigh the costs and military resources needed for something of this size. The Department of Security says that there is not 100% answer that Sunrisia might even go through with it, but it would be on the military’s agenda. In fact, at the present times, the country might even opt for a smaller version of the same project, still giving Sunrisia the ability to still set up a nuclear shield for itself and for its allies and partners. At the moment, ballistic missile defense systems dominate the Sunrisia’s nuclear defense, but anti-nuclear lasers are expected to be added into equation in the future. Sunrisia was joined on the laser project by MDAA ally Pantorrum, which is why teamwork may speed up the development process.
