Recent news out of Corentia have presented the coup of the United Rodham States by the treasonous forces known as the "Corentian Labour Battalions." This force comprised of members of the former nation's military, led by Colonel John Jack Reed. After the coup, they founded a nation known now as the "Corentian People's Republic." As the Kaiserreich has a strict policy on the expansion of communism, the Oberkommando der Wehrmacht and the Abwehr have enacted a situation of urgency in the defense of the region. With the approval of the Kaiser, the Abwehr has officially declared this "People's Republic" as a criminal organisation with intent to harm those within Corentia. The Wehrmacht echoed its statements, while also preparing the Kaiserliche-Marine for exercises of naval superiority within the region.

Flanked by Generalfeldmarschall Walter von Kammerling of the Wehrmacht and Generaloberst Karl Graf von Speeling of the Abwehr, Reichskanzler von Kluge formally announced the Kaiserreich's demand of the release of the former members of the previous government into Englean custody and the immediate suspension of trials for those being accused of "crimes against the workers." von Kluge also recommended for nations to not engage in trade talks with the new nation, and to not allow this nation to give the SCC a foothold in mainland Corentia. "If the People's Republic of Corentia does not cooperate in this demand, the Kaiserliche-Marine will retain a presence within international waters to intercept all trade into the nation until the demands are met. If the forces of the SCC or the Republic's Navies fire upon the His Imperial Majesty's vessels in international waters, those forces will be eliminated and then an international response will be created."

Civil unrest worsens, Peace talks to be held
Today the government has announced that it will be attending peace talks in Divergia along with the Frieslander Divergian Front and the Republic of Elethu. The White Frieslander group in control of Friesland has not commented on whether or not they will be attending. It is agreed by many that the government needs to negotiate a peace due to the rise of warlordism and militia rule spreading over parts of the nation. The government has been progressively pushed out of the rural areas of western Friesland by various loosely aligned leftist groups since the loss of the capital.

New PRLA Army Training: President Supports PRC

Jamestown Today, the PRLA announced the opening and laid the cornerstone of Agri, an advanced training facility located on the USJR's southern provinces. The new training base will serve soldiers from various units training in all forms of modern combat, including underground and urban warfare. The base is part of a multi-year plan to revamp the PRLA Ground Forces training facilities.

The Agri Training Facility is the first of four planned advanced training facilities. Another two will be built in central provinces. A fourth will be build in the north of the country. “It’s an infrastructural revolution in ground forces training,” said a senior PRLA official responsible for the project.

The objective of the new training facilities is to train PRLA ground forces for 21st century threats.

The first of the four advanced training facilities is being built to replicate a Dirkistan village, due to the significant threat the country poses. “The facility gives us the ability to insert soldiers and recreate the exact circumstances they will find themselves in during a real war,” he said.

The mock village includes multiple entrances, an underground tunnel system, enemy rocket launchers, and soldiers trained to copy Hezbollah tactics and capabilities. While designing the facility, planners took into the account the new weapons and capabilities Dirkistan has received from the VSSA. “Its one of the most significant developments in the PRLA over the next couple years,” the official said. “The goal is to build a training facility that reflects the modern challenges we face,” the official explained.

The Agri Training Facility provides the ability to train in ways beyond what the PRLA’s current modern warfare training center offers. In addition, the ability to use live fire, the new facility can accommodate tanks, APC’s and other heavy vehicles. “We understand that in any future conflict, our tanks will be entering villages to target terrorists positions. Our Armored Corps needs to be ready to operate in a rubble-filled urban environment, for example,” the official said.

“We need to be prepared for any possible eventuality. When we complete building all four advanced training facilities, the PRLA Ground Forces will be at a completely different level of readiness, training, and skill,” he said.

In other news, Press Secretary Gennadiy Leonty announced that the USJR would support the Corentian Labour Battalions and defy Engleberg's attempted embargo of the country. From the USJR naval base in Librira a surface task force has been sent to the PRC's waters, according to the Press Secretary. The warships will escort in civilian vessels and are under orders to defend the PRC's sovereignty. With the vessels arriving in several days times, it remains to be seen if a regional crisis can be avoided.

Prime Minister urges calm, as international tensions rise
Today Prime Minister Velders has spoke at a press conference today about the recent Rodham revolution and the Engleberg reaction to it. Velders spoke at length urging calm and stating his wish for the new Rodham government to respect human rights. In the speech the Prime Minister said the following

In the past few days I and my cabinet have been made aware of the full picture now unfolding. As most of you will know that the former Rodham State has fallen to an internal revolution, and the Engleberg Kaiserreich has issued a threat to not just the new government of Rodham, but to any nation seeking to deal with this government. The Ministry of Defense of Valorsante has announced that a new airbase will be built in the southern town of Playa Riqueza, the airbase will one of the biggest in Valorsante and house a large amount of aircraft. MDAA Alliance Revived Once Again: Member States Expect The Bloc To Continue Existence Well Into The Future

The first foreign state visit of President Nóv Fáustîtár commenced with a historical revival of the MDAA alliance. The President traveled to Miraya, Creperia, where he met with Creperian President Alcc Laēta and Ederi Prime Minister Féli Trãncilér. The 3 leaders jointly reaffirmed “rebooting” the Miraya Defense Assistance Alignment (MDAA) after the bloc had nearly been disbanded twice and became non-functioning recently. It was recognized that the decision to let go of MDAA was too rushed and that the alliance is indeed not obsolete, as its necessity is stronger now, more than ever. Intentions were revealed to secure MDAA and make the alliance adapt to modern challenges in the world. In order to publicly confirm the revamp of MDAA, a summit under Creperian invitation, was held in Miraya, the same city where the Treaty of Miraya was originally signed, establishing MDAA in the first place. A second life to MDAA was given in that same city.

Plans to bring back MDAA were said to have been in the works earlier, however, recent events coincidentally reaffirmed the necessity to bring back the bloc even more and as soon as possible. Among those current events, the leaders cited the expansion of foreign Commonwealths into Corentia, the events in URS and follow-up active military movements of the USJR in our region, just to name a few. The collective defense clause of MDAA was recognized to be more useful now, than ever before and faith remains strong in that commitment, as it was demonstrated during the recent war in Edereon. Nevertheless, even with the mutual defense benefit probably being at the forefront right now, it was confirmed that MDAA would still evolve beyond and be more than just an instrument of collective defense. Global humanitarian missions of the alliance would continue as before and hopes were expressed that the missions could further continue with non-MDAA partner states like D’Fleuves and with partner humanitarian organizations like the White Dove and the Blue-Gold. Intentions to open the doors to new partners were expressed, as that would make the efforts more efficient.

The Sunrisian side expressed joy that humanitarian efforts overseas would no longer be a solo effort, but would once again return to being teamwork under the flag of MDAA. President Nóv Fáustîtár reaffirmed Sunrisia’s “100%” commitment to MDAA’s collective defense, as well as keeping the foreign aid budget to MDAA standards, in order to successfully continue the humanitarian missions. Allies respond with compliance to keep their defense budgets and foreign aid budgets proportional and up to MDAA standards as well, in order to have fair burden sharing, as Sunrisia currently accounts for the majority of MDAA’s foreign aid budget and more than half of its defense. In order to face contemporary military and humanitarian challenges, there are possible plans to raise the bar and collective budgets to the defense and humanitarian areas even more. Meanwhile, no decision has yet been made on whether Sunrisian bases and troops would return to Creperia and Edereon. Following the conclusion of the meeting in Miraya, the next trilateral summit between the countries would concerns economics and trade, with the intention to bring back the free trade agreements on sign new treaties. Having remained relatively quiet for the last few months in regards to international affairs, the reaction from the Englean Kaiserreich in regards to the formation of the Corentian People's Republic has earned the ire of the Communist Reich of Kiez. The delayed reaction from the Richtofen Administration was due to the Premier's departure to the Republican Collective Security Conference in Jamestown, USJR. However, in representation of the Premier, Commissar Mikhail Rokossovsky had this to say: "We welcome the birth of the newly formed Corentian People's Republic and seek to both induct it's people into the Sunalayan Communist Council and establish trade with the relatively young nation. We will also not tolerate any aggressive actions towards these newly formed Communist Nations, the Englean Kaiserreich, in all of it's ignorance has already demonstrated aggression towards the rise of the people's revolution, an act of unrelenting aggression towards the rise of the people."

Viewing the Kaiserreich's threat of "Eliminating any SCC of Republic Naval Forces that open fire on the Kaiserreich's vessels", the reaction from the Richtofen Administration became that much more aggressive "Any attempts from the Kaiserreich to forcibly redirect merchant ships under the banner of the Communist Reich, the United Soviet Jason Republic, or any nation under the banner of the Sunalayan Communist Council will not only result in a collective military response from these nations, but will also be met by the issuance of sanctions from both the Communist Reich itself and a United Sunalayan Assembly Resolution. Let the Kaiserreich be assured by this fact, if their "Imperial Navy" so as much scratches the surface of a warship or trade ship operating under the banner of the Communist Reich, you shall face a conflict far greater than that of the Deutsches Reich."

Seemingly following the Commissar's aggressive rhetoric towards the historically Anti-Communist nation, activity from the Kiez Armed Forces as well as its Trade Industry increased drastically, with multiple defense contracts between Armed Forces and the Trade Ministry being signed minutes after the Commissar's comments, the Englean threat of forcible redirection of all trade ships also let to a joint reaction from the Kiez Armed Forces and the Kiez Trade Ministry "Like the nations that tried to prevent overseas trade with our fellow brethren during the Sunalayan Cold War, neither the Kiez Armed Forces or the Kiez Trading Ministry will stand for any aggressive actions to be taken against our naval vessels. Sunrisian Naval Forces Move Towards The Corentian People’s Republic/URS

The Department of Security has announced that Sunrisian fleets have been moved closer towards URS or the Corentian People’s Republic, as it is called now. The navy positioned the fleets as close as possible to the theatre of events, but has made sure that they keep their distance, in order not to violate the sovereignty of any country in the region. The warships formally remain in neutral international waters. The Department added that the Sunrisian Air Force may also be tasked to conduct aerial policing in that area, however, that measure will not be used for now and would be applied as secondary, in case the situation does not progress for the better.

A spokesperson for the government has said that the administration wishes to see the internal situation in the Corentian People’s Republic stabilize and also does not want to see the country become a “chessboard” for an ideological game between foreign players. The government commended Zilveren Berg for offering to mediate the situation and expressed hope that the offer would be acknowledged and considered. In the meantime, Minister of International Relations Ectrăr Álienan called out the USJR for its maneuvers in the region, as part of its seeming support for the spread of communism overseas. Engleberg’s actions also did not go unnoticed:

“The previous administration of President Sánît Béâtídá, which I also had a pleasure of serving under, has searched for a middle ground with the USJR. A prime example of that was the situation in the former state of Uszwa, where a civil conflict between the government and Marxist rebels was taking place. It was where Sunrisia and the USJR had negotiated a cease-fire at the time. Naturally, it seemed like it meant that the sides would agree to withhold from supporting either of the belligerents and would instead remain neutral mediators, working together towards peace. However, from Jamestown’s side, it seemed like they were still cautiously favoring the Marxists. Our country’s peacekeeping resolutions at the USA were vetoed without a clear explanation and Uszwa was undergoing a blockade by the USJR fleets. The state media of the USJR even referred to Uszwan Marxists as “comrades” at one time and talked about the USJR aiding them, even after the cease-fire negotiations had already taken place. Now, the situation is shady as well, except this time the communists have seized power, which has given Mortimer and his government in Jamestown more range to openly act, even if the “People’s Republic” government may not be internationally recognized.

As for what Engleberg is doing, we understand the national security concern over the spread of communism and the USJR’s maneuvers, but what they are threatening to do right now is radical action. Imposing a blockade of all international goods into URS or the Corentian People’s Republic, will only harm civilians and not the leadership currently in place there. It only pushes Sunrisia away from reconsidering our own embargo that we currently have imposed on Engleberg. It cannot be compared to what Engleberg is threatening to do, because we are only one nation and we are not trying to block Engleberg’s trade with the rest of the world. Also, we have excluded exports of food, water and humanitarian goods into Engleberg from the embargo, as those continue to flow. However, it seems that Engleberg is threatening to block everything from coming into URS, which puts that country’s civilians at risk of simply dying from starvation, just to name one.

There is no way around it. The USA needs to work on this problem, because it is the only organization that has global legitimacy to do so. If it fails to act, others will soon unilaterally start working on their own methods to “resolve” the situation and it will only further strengthen global skepticism towards the USA as a useless and non-functioning organization.”

The formation of the People's Republic of Corentian has created immediate tension within global politics. Engleberg has threatened to destroy the new nation, whereas Rhodevus, the USJR, and the Communist Reich seek to protect it. The nations involved have put the empire into a rather awkward place, Rhodevus is the main ally of the empire but Engleberg is considered a nation that is friendly to Rezua. Relations with the Communist Reich have improved greatly as well, and slowly, relations with the USJR have begun to climb. Then there is the fact that the Rezuan Empire is sworn to protect nations who fight a justified defensive war. With so many relations that hang in the balance, Parliament has officially declared neutrality on this matter, but whether or not the empire stays neutral will depend on the results of the new summit being called for by the Acting-Empress.

This summit invites the PRC, the USJR, Rhodevus, Engleberg, and the Communist Reich, to all come to Eomeria to discuss their concerns. In addition, this summit will help discover if the people of the PRC support their new government and to ensure that their liberties are protected by the nations gathered. Parliament urges the nations involved to act now and accept the invitation. Prime Minister Franz Hoelmon reminds the conflicting countries that a peaceful solution is the only solution that can create a lasting peace. He also said that the people of the PRC have endured enough war and should not be thrown into another one.

Malesti Forces Engage Bohinian soldiers along the Border

The Molenstoni Second Infantry Brigade Patrolling the Southern Footlands

At 5:30 this morning, the Molenstoni Second Infantry Brigade came under fire from Bohinian forces in the Southern Footlands. One of two highly contested regions of Ziamban, the Southern Footlands was given to The Bohin in a land distribution which ended the 3rd Malesti-Bohi War a few years ago. In exchange for the Southern Footlands and its access to the Sivier River, one of the only freshwater rivers on the continent, Molenston received the Northern Coasts; the second of the highly contested areas, which had been in The Bohin's hands.

The firefight lasted 35 minutes as infantry from both sides engaged one another before the Bohinian soldiers backed down. One Molenstoni was killed and two more were injured. It is yet unknown of the casualties and injuries taken by the Bohinian forces.

The Malesti government has continued to affirm its stance on handling the issue themselves, without foreign involvement and still believes that this issue can be settled through negotiation to bring back peace. This idealism is slowly being lost by the Malesti people, especially those living near and along the Sivier River; which accounts for 35% of the Malesti population. With a new election coming up soon, this may not be the proper move for the government.

No word yet from the Bohinian government on these actions, although satellite imaging has confirmed Bohi troop movements throughout the country. While not yet reporting on this recent attack, the Bohi government has confirmed that a peace meeting will happen in Sugmei City, the capital of the Bohin and that Molenston officials as well as all others requested by their ally; Divergia will be open to attend and will be secure and safe from harm throughout the entire endevour.

Congress Votes to Activate the Wartime Military Ops

Wartime Military Operations

For the first time since the end of the civil war, Congress has voted to activate the Wartime Military Operations. Although it was not accompanied by a declaration of war, the Constitution of the Confederate States allows Congress to raise a military for 2 years without declaring war; and allows for a military to be maintained by congress for 2 years after the conclusion of a war. Under the Wartime Military Operations Act, the States' National Guards are transferred to the central government's authority, allowing them to function as the national military rather than the individual state militias. The WMO also implements the draft, allowing for the Central Military to be created during times of war, or high threat.

The Wartime Military Ops has not been activated since the civil war. However, Congress has activated it today following the increased tensions around Corentia, and growing fear of foreign intervention into Corentia. With the increased tensions, and the risk of national military allies going into war, Congress has stated that enacting the WMO is necessary so the nation can be prepared in the event Columbia moves to war.

The aggression of the "Englean Reich" has put a great weight on the administration of Jack Reed and the People's Commission. Several deputy party members and military officers were reportedly thrown into rants of colorful language upon hearing the news, while Comrade Reed, ever the diligent man he was elected to be, had called for an emergency meeting to be set at the former Senate Hall in Columbia.

Reed had this to say:

I grew up as a young man seeing people tear each other apart under a system that made them animals and treated them such way. On a less serious note, I don't think the Kaiser's ever seen a crucible, much less any kind of tool in his goddamn life. [audience laughter]
It is clear to me and the People's Commission that these individuals are important to the Englean government. This has given us grounds, as permitted by the courts, to investigate deeper the corruption rooted within the URS' economic and political system, as to protect our own from poisoning. Unfortunately for our Englean colleagues who want these men back, such cases of treason will end up usually in execution. That's how it is, and we're not making any special exceptions.

Referenda Results Announced

Esotan, Esotana The Esotanan Election Ministry announced the closely watched results for the Esotanan Military Budget Referenda of 2017. The results saw the pro camp winning a major victory, with the results being, 68% Pro 32% Anti. The major victory led to rallies in many Esotanan cities with many celebrating the “increases in our national security”. The Esotanan Military will soon announce the acquisition of new equipment once the various councils of the Esotanan Cantons approve the amount, believed to be a raise of 60bn over a period of two years, doubling the current budget. Analysts expect these new moves to play a significant effect in the region and the world, as a more assertive Esotana could change the structure of the region, however as one notes “it will take quite a few years for Esotana to truly reap the rewards of this new budget as new equipment will have to be built and acquired”. The Esotan Times has already learned from our financial staff that stock in prominent military contractors is rallying with a new growth opportunity seen, already the Esotanan Military Stock Index has risen by 5% and is projected to further increase as the contacts get announced.
Many also are questioning how the numbers got to this high rate after yesterday's​ polling didn't reveal these very high numbers, we spoke to one political analyst to learn why. “Just yesterday the alliance was already increasing the numbers of pro voters, but with news of the Englebergian blockade and how it would do military action against any opposing any nation was the final straw for many Esotanans, and allowed them to reach that magical 51%. After that polling numbers rose to the ones we are seeing now. She was there to sign SURDMA, also known as Seven United and Rhodeve Defensive Military Alliance. The defensive military alliance means that any nation that attacks The Seven United will see a response from Rhodevus. SURDMA, Seven United and Rhodeve Defensive Military Alliance will usher in a new age of military cooperation with Rhodevus, one of the most powerful countries in Sunalaya. Not only this, but we have applied to sign up to MDAA that was formed in Creperia, an alliance that came back together not to long ago, this alliance will secure our future and our children's even further. We have never been as safe as we are now, and you can thank the Union for that. Though, this isn't why I have called this. The Corentian Peoples Republic will not be recognized by our government until there are internationally watched elections, so the people can decide who will be in charge. Englebergs reaction has worried me slightly, the nation has decided to go straight into the military option without realizing that there are peaceful channels open to use. The new government has begun deeper investigations into the former country and will continue just before I had begun to speak. I am hopeful of a peaceful resolution, and our Union is ready in times of difficulty. For a more peaceful Corentia, we must work together. I do support Rezuas idea for summit on this. Thank you all.

A Defence Spokesman has also said that they are monitoring the situation closely and will be ready to enact executive article 14 which grants the Commiss army power to change immediate budget - draft new forces and delay a scheduled election by a maximum of two years. These powers would last for a year after the war or conflict has came to a conclusion.

The 2nd Bailorian Fleet which has been out for quite a long time now has docked in Nuranto, Belantica today. They have confirmed they will not be deploying to "The Corentian Peoples Republic" and have not received any instructions to do so. The fleet consists as of last seen, 3 destroyers, 2 frigates and 5 corvettes and is the largest fleet of The Seven United.

In other news, the weather has let go in some areas with heavy thunder and lightning being reported along the west, with some areas receiving sharp torrential showers only to see sunshine dry it up after, it has also been quite cool as winds from the south come in. The dry season should be in full force by the middle of this month, but today and tomorrow will give some last minute rain to the west and some parts of the east including Celstead, though it is patchy and some areas might not see rain at all. Terrorist in Sinygrad museum kills 9, injures 11

Sinygrad Police report a shooting took place at a Museum in Sinygrad this morning, a terrorist armed with a pistol walked into the lobby, where he attacked a tour group, then shot at people running away, he was killed by a security guard quickly after. The terrorist's name was identified as Jafar Alqedi, a Sinygrad born Dirkhiz. Police have found Islamic Terror websites on his computer of a small islamic terror group located in Dirkhizistan, Dirkhizistan has said that they will "eradicate" the islamic terrorists in their country with "top punishment". Following the recent economic growth in Vukmire the country has entered into a new golden age of prosperity, Ramsvelt has for the first time in ten years held the Golden Sunday festival, a citywide event celebrating the prosperity and peace that Vukmire experiences in southern Ventismar. In other news Derminsky city, formerly known as the largest city in Vukmire and as the main economic hub that was struck down by a meteor, has recently been greenlit in the reconstruction of the city. Although the entire commercial downtown is submerged underwater, it has been voted to remain there as Sunalaya's largest man made reef. "New Derminsky" As its been named will comprise of the three surrounding towns that survived the tragedy and will carry out the legacy of the city.

As countries in Corentia are couped and placed under peril, Vukmire has seen relative peace, with Yokohaul talks nearing conclusion and several insurgent groups destroyed in a heavy hitting campaign. Vukmire will no longer be on the defensive and is aiding it's first humanitarian aid package for several Corentian nations should war break out.

Western Corentian Free Trade Area (WECTA) Reinstated

In the aftermath to the meeting in Miraya, President Nóv Fáustîtár, Creperian President Alcc Laēta and Ederi Prime Minister Féli Trãncilér headed to the capital of Edereon, where they held an economic summit. Over there, the leaders had decided to seal another deal that had been in negotiations among the countries for some time. That deal, was the revival of the Western Corentian Free Trade Area, also known as WECTA.

The shorter name WECTA was originally used for the predecessor treaty – the Western Corentian Free Trade Agreement, which was superseded by its updated successor – the Western Corentian Free Trade Area, after economic and diplomatic ties between the 3 neighbors had experienced crisis and even were severed to a point. The countries chose to bring back WECTA over CRESEDER, due to the former being solely an economic structure, while CRESEDER was an integral project, a political organization and practically a bloc all around. WECTA was also described as something that could account for a bloc, however, it carries no diplomatic or political character and is solely a trade structure. President Fáustîtár said that CRESEDER is an organization that does not match the current non-globalist agenda in either of the countries, as his colleagues have reaffirmed to him.

The Sunrisian President expressed interest in what a renewed and updated WECTA could achieve as an economic structure. Among some aspects, the head of state mentioned re-establishing treaties that CRESEDER had or replacing those treaties with newer, superior ones, as well as expanding economic ties far beyond, across Sunalaya. Having stood the test of time, a renewed WECTA is expected to benefit all involved with interconnected growth to the members’ and partners’ economies. How would WECTA function internally and possibly externally would be done in coordination among the countries involved, as they would run the economic union together.

Rhodevus Pledges to NOT Expand Military Spending

With the tensions rising internationally, especially in Southern Corentia; many nations around the world are choosing this time to expand their military budgets. This strategy is often explained by governments as their hope to keep their country strong and secure amidst troubling times. This opinion can be easily debated by this newspaper as a means to increase overall international tensions, rather than decrease it. If all militaries expand, so will the friction caused by them.

This newspaper's opinions seem to be shared by the Rhodeve government, who has already pledged that the military budget of Rhodevus will remain the same. Of course, the planned military overhaul will continue until completion, but no new funding will be added to the military budget of either the Rhodeve Armed Forces and the Rhodeve Commonwealth Army. "We, the government of Rhodevus are actually in near perfect unison among all parties and across all platforms. Now is not the time to increase our military spending nor that of our police force. It is time to remain constant or even cut back to show the world that peace is still an option. And one that Rhodevus will continue to use above all others. We would like to support the peace meeting offers from both Rezua and Zilveren Berg, and urge the Corentian Peoples Republic and all others involved in that area of the world to accept one of these offers."

SSV celebrates their 7th title, the first in 38 years
38 seasons is the longest period ever between two championships won by the same team

A 38 year long curse kept SSV away from the most important title of Felsinean football, 38 seasons spent in the background while the other big teams of Felsinia filled up their trophy rooms, but, despite the two relegations faced in 1990 and in 1998, SSV never forgott their noble past as one of the six most prestigious clubs of Felsinia along with Fêlsina, Lavvd, Bianore, Stêlten United and s'Hértogenstad. Six were titles won by SSV till this season (1951, 1952, 1957, 1961, 1966, 1979), six are the teams competing the second phase of the championship, after matchday 22 the league splits, the top six clubs play the final 10 games between them for the title and the qualification spots for the continental cups, while the remaining six fight to avoid relegation. The fiercest rival among those six proved to be Stêlten United, another historic team, the sprint for the league lasted all season ending with a 4 points difference in favour of the "Svengherdàis", 68 vs 64, a small gap, mostly built in the 4 face-offs played during the season, in which SSV gained 7 points, 3 more than the rivals (2W,1D,1L). SSV won the league thanks to the best defence, with only 27 goals scored against them, while the best attack belongs to Stêlten United, with 59 goals scored, this is the first title for a team from the district of Eridàggna since 1995, when Bianore won their 4th championship.
Behind the leading couple, Fêlsina ranked on the third step of the podium, ahead of Foryòmla and the titleholders of Lavvd, unable to repeat the success of last season. A lot of regrets for EB/Starzèra who couldn't achieve a better place than 7th being in the "bottom six" when the championship split, despite the final score of 46 points.
Looking at the bottom of the table, Foshòstel and SCL were relegated to Diviṡiån Dû, big shock in particular for the latter, victim of an incredible collapse in the last part of the championship after 2/3 of season spent competing for a safe mid table position.

Corentian Crisis Continued
Instead of returning back to normal, Corentia has seemed to gain more tense feeling overnight. What seemingly looks like the PRC and the Englean Kaiserreich breathing down each other's necks, and Sunrisia now taking a stance, this has left Belantica in a situation, as citizens are becoming worried that conflict could soon spark, and possibly spread to our nation, an idea that no Belantican ever wants to have as a reality. As of now, Belantica has changed gears, and stated that the parties involved should attend one of the peace summits offered by Rezua and Zilveren Berg, that negotiations "may end up saving more lives and property in the long run than a war". However, foreign affairs experts say that both parties may ignore at any attempts to get them to talk with one another, which of course, is sparking a national security concern. "This is way too close," said a fisherman in Suffolk," It's too close for our own comfort. I don't want to live in fear that my land, house, guns, even my freedom and family, could be whisked away by any of those wanting to play a war game on the mainland, and I think that not just Belanticans feel that way, but any Corentian with some sense. Nobody wants to lose anything, so why do these governments over there seem to want to start a war for who knows what?" Another woman in Center City said that if there's any Belanticans in the PCR right row, that they are "okay, staying safe, and are able to come home."

The Ministry of Defense spokeswoman, Brigadier-General Anne Freeman said that "We are making sure this does not affect the good law-abiding citizens of the Royal States, and are assuring that we will fulfill our sacred duty to protect the motherland and her citizens from anyone wanting to take her down, and show that Belantica and the people of Belantica will never fall to anyone or anything." People's United Republic Weighs in on PRC

In the days following a sudden coup of another Corentian nation, resulting in the beginning of a new socialist government. However, in the past several days other nations have responded, some of them such as the Kaiserreich of Engleberg, deploying military assets nearby. This has triggered the People's United Republic's own response.

The People's United Republic, Wishing to see Corentia be a successful, prosperous and peaceful place, while also respecting the political evolution of other country's will do its utmost to prevent other nations from Intervening physically in the state. We will defend our neighbors, and will ensure that foreign nations will no longer shape our destinies, rather we will forge our own! The People's United Republic, thus requests that the Kaiserreich pulls its fleets back to its harbors, and that other nations de-escalate the situation, primarily by pulling back any forces they have deployed to the area, and by ceasing operations to topple the foundling government. The People's United Republic would like to add that it is dedicated to defending its comrades in Corentia and guarantee's to its neighbors that this is not an attempt to 'spread communism' or to exercise power over them.

Alongside this statement came the announcement that the Navy's 1st Special Group, led by the Aircraft Carrier LNS Charter would be deployed to the area, to ensure that no aggressive actions would be taken, with orders to withdraw once other nations navies had begun to leave. The Army and Airforce have both been put on Alert. Its hoped that the situation can be defused. Hopefully with peace talks to be sponsored by Zilveren Berg. Telleman Industries Reveals New Air Launch to Orbit System

Telleman Industries, Columbia's largest aircraft, rotorcraft, rockets, and satellites designer, manufacturer and seller has revealed its newest project which is now nearing completion. This project, known as the LaunchStrato, is a air launch to orbit system designed to improve launches of space-bound ships and satellites. Telleman Spokesperson Robert McCartney stated the company will begin testing the design by the end of 2017 and believes it could be put into commercial use by the end of 2020.

The Project was initially commissioned by the Confederate Space And Science Organization (CSSO), but has received funding from the Westseaxen Commonwealth Space Agency (WCSA). Both CSSO and WCSA are expected to use the design once ready for commercial use, and both organizations believe it will streamline space exploration and advance the exploration. The company, Telleman, stated that once ready for commercial use the project will be available for international use.

Telleman Industries has confirmed that LaunchStrato has become a subsidy company of the parent branch Telleman. They held a ribbon-cutting ceremony yesterday unveiling a testing field for the project near the city of Taernsby in the state of Benton. Taernsby is also the headquarters for the CSSO and is the location of the space launching facilities for both the CSSO and the WCSA.

Molenstoni and Bohinian soldiers clashed along the border for the second time in two days just this morning. After what was reported as "insults being thrown around" between both sides, a 15 minute firefight ensued leading to one injury of a Malesti soldier. Luckily, there were no deaths. The Molenstoni government has issued a message that they would be continuing to strive for peace, even with the Bohin's blatant disregard for international border laws.

The Bohin's government replied by stating that the country requires a larger portion of the Sivier River, due to less water flow coming in. The Bohin accuses Molenston of diverting water from the river which is directly against the peace agreement signed by both nations. The Molenstoni government has assured its counterpart in the Bohin, that this is not the case, but the lack of water is due to uncommonly late droughts.

The Bohin has yet to confirm any troop movements, but it is clear that soldiers are moving through the country. The short-range missile systems have indeed been brought closer to the Molenstoni border and the 6th tank division has been seen active in North-Eastern Bohin.

First Official Polls Are In
Artwingen -- The first polls conducted by the state sponsored polling agency, Linfo, has published the results of the first polls for the upcoming election that will be held at the end of June. On the 29th Lindians will elect a new parliament. The 2017 elections so far have been proven to be tense, as the social liberal-green coalition government tries to remain in power they are facing a fierce opposition.

The market liberal, socially conservative Liberal Party has gained a lot of support during the last week. Minor scandals and hypocrisy within the Green Progressive Party have caused this party to lose a lot of their voter base, most of whom opted for the ideologically similar Union of Democrats. However, a lot of the UD voters have been alienated by their own party after the prime minister stated they would vote against a bill that was put forward by the Liberal Party the new law would make it compulsory that receivers of unemployment benefits would have to preform community service tasks. Many UD voters who were in favour of the bill answered that they would vote for the Liberal Party in the upcoming election when asked by pollers.
