Sunrisian Forces – Western Corentia (SFWC) Reclassified Into Sunrisian Forces – Creperia (SFC)

With Sunrisia removing forces from Edereon under the leadership of the National Council of Supremacy and Domination and establishing a separate military garrison in Free Edereon as the Sunrisian Free Edereon Protection Command (SFEPC), the joint command named Sunrisian Forces – Western Corentia (SFWC) has been reclassified into Sunrisian Forces – Creperia (SFC). This is due to the original forces in SFWC only remaining in Creperia, as 6,000 troops stationed in Free Edereon were rebranded into SFEPC and the other 6,000 having ended their mission and being withdrawn from where they were stationed. Therefore, because SFWC ended up only including soldiers stationed in Creperia, the garrison was logically branched off into SFC. Representatives of the Sunrisian Defense Force believing that such branching off into separate commands will be more comfortable, as SFEPC and SFC will successfully carry on the mission and separately focus on their specific tasks of protecting the country they are based in. It is believed to be a better replacement for SFWC which had the brought task of protecting Western Corentia as a region and the command having to stay interconnected and operating as one force, while being stationed in different countries.

Grand Council Approves New Trade Deals

Tako'skó:wa, Haudenosaunee - The Haudenosaunee Grand Council has approved a new bill entitled the 2017 Trade Act which proposes introducing new trade into the stagnant economy. The Act removes previous restrictions in place prohibiting trade deals from being made. With it's passing today by the Grand Council the Haudenosaunee government is hopeful further trade can be established, strengthening the economy of the Confederation. Recently inaugurated President Shona'karakehte stated his administration intends on looking to create new deals with nearby nations such as Smoya, Aznazia, Minarchismusland and Rhodevus initially, but hopes that soon the nation will begin trading on a global scale.

The Shona'karakehte administration has also stated they are hopeful a deal with Smoya, a nation sharing a land border with the Confederacy, that will allow easier travel between the two nations, hopefully aiding tourism between the two nations. 25% of the Confederacy's GDP is based on its tourism, with tourists coming from around the globe to experience the First Nations existence in the modern world. The Shona'karakehte Administration has already stated it plans on spending more money on funding the tourist industry, hoping to build new resorts and lodges to attract more visitors to the nation.

"Deseret Gate, over NS$ 4bn being spent on a project which may not reap huge benefits, is now put into more limelight when a government whistleblower shown that the financial committee has been sending huge packets of money to the company willing to build the canal in Deseret. The whistleblower who remains unnamed shown documents saying that over NS $ 800 million will be packaged to the companies treasury. The opposition Soldurs Des has called it irresponsible, what does our political analyst have to say about this?" The reporter glances over to the analyst fiddling with his tie.

MDAA had ended training after a cease-fire in Edereon and focus has been shifted from military to economics. A long negotiated international treaty was finally turned into a reality by receiving the decisive signatures it needed. The leaders and delegates of Creperia, Sunrisia and Free Edereon have finally met in the capital city Miraya to sign the Western Corentian Free Trade Agreement, allowing the nations of the region to prosper together as suggested a while back.

The free trade agreement was proposed a long time ago by Creperia and had been in negotiation for a while ever since. Also unofficially called WECTA, the Western Corentian Free Trade Agreement establishes a common free trade economic zone within the territories of signatory countries. So far, the agreement only includes Creperia, Sunrisia and Free Edereon, excluding the rest of Edereon, as these were the 3 countries that had initially negotiated it all this time. Finally signed by the leaders, the agreement still has to be ratified by the parliaments of the 3 countries in order to enter into force. Creperian, Sunrisian and Free Ederi officials have discussed at the signing meeting that the deal should be ratified by the end of the upcoming week.

Apart from the unofficially named WECTA, Creperia had also signed a free trade agreement with the VU a long time ago, but that treaty was not yet ratified neither by Creperia’s National Assembly nor that of the VU countries. Many within the Creperian government believe that the agreement with the VU should not be repealed or withdrawn from, but it should be renegotiated and improved which is why it had not yet been ratified in its current form.

WC Application Accepted!

Tako'skó:wa, Haudenosaunee - Early last week the Haudenosaunee Grand Council had applied for membership in the WC as a move to build economic ties internationally. The Shona'karakehte administration stated it felt joining the WC would be a step forward in the right direction for the Confederacy, saying it opens many doors for the nation. Although primarily cultural and historical, the WC has shown to work closely together with it's member states in forming economic alliances, and with it's recent proposed free movement policy to be vote on later this year, could help bolster the Haudenosaunee tourism industry.

The Confederacy is to be inaugurated as a member of the WC in June, at the Annual Convention. It has been determined that the Confederacy will be allowed to vote on the free movement policy during the Annual Convention of the WC, as well as any other votes placed forward during the meeting. President Kaientaronkwen Shona'karakehte himself will attend the Annual Convention this year, representing the Kanien'kehá:ka tribe, and has stated a rotation between the tribal chiefs will be made between the Six Nations of the Confederacy, allowing each tribe to send their chief to represent the Haudenosaunee once every 6 years. It has been determined at the next Annual Convention the Ononta'kehá:ka (English: Onondaga, Onondaga: Onöñda’gega) will represent the Confederacy, followed by the Onenio'te'á:ka (English: Oneida, Oneida: Onyota'a:ka) in 2019, the Kaion'kehá:ka (English: Cayuga, Cayuga: Guyohkohnyo) in 2020, the Shotinontowane'á:ka (English: Seneca, Senca: Onöndowága) in 2021, and the Tehatihskaró:ros (English: Tuscarora, Tuscarora: Skarū'ren') in 2022 before returning to the Kanien'kehá:ka in 2023.

Steady Recovery For Businesses-Economy
ALBANY CITY, NA- Over the past few weeks since the end of the fighting, business has slowly but surely begun to return to it once was. Despite the sharp plummet in stock value in Belantic companies, investors are slowly making their way back and stock prices are starting to climb back up. With the creation of the work program, those who were put out of a job are able to work once more and help contribute back to the reconstruction of the economy. Nations such as Aznazia, Rhodevus, Rezua, and others are now making efforts to help with the rebuilding and opening up new doors to prosperity.

Despite all of this, there is still much to be done before the economy will return to 2016 levels, due to the amount of damage that was caused by the former Krump administration. The Ministry of Commerce predicts that if the nation counties with it's current plans, full recovery will occur between 6 months to a year from now, however, they hinted that it could be sped up if certain measures are taken. Also, it is known that the new government will continue to uphold LEAA that was signed a few months ago, believe that this trade agreement will help attract more business and speed up the recovery process. Many are still skeptic about how the Regent is approaching this issue, however progress is being made by her economic plans and public works projects. It is also known that many companies are doing their part in helping to boost the economy. There is still much to be done, and the government is working it's hardest to rebuild the economy, foreign relations, the military, and our role on the international stage.

Esotan, Esotana- The Rhodeve and Esotanan Governments have come up with a new agreement to create REPC(Rhodeve-Esotanan Port Company) dedicated to improving port infrastructure in Sunalalya. The Head is the People's Council of Trade and Commerce had this to say over the new company, “REPC is certainly an exciting opportunity to help develop the port infrastructure if numerous Sunalalyan nation and construct valuable trade routes, and ports for our various industries”. REPC will be jointly owned by the two governments, and will lease out ports from various Sunalalyan nations to help improve them, by adding new terminals, modernizing equipment, and building new procedures and digitizing the ports. The Company will have 50 billion dollars in starting funds, however this money won't come immediately and will come in installments of 5 billion for a decade, coming from both the Rhode and Esotanan Government, however in the case of the Esotanan Government the money came from the state owned institutions of Bank of Esotana, National Esotanan Investment Bank, EsoPec, and EsoShip. REPC hopes to build a network of modern, agile, ports that will increase trade throughout Sunalalya, and create new commerce hubs across Sunalalya. REPC’s first leasing deal has been made with Dormill and Situra to lease the port on the Seshan Islands. The lease will be 10 bn NSD(in total for all 15 years), and with the projects done by REPC to modernize, increase capacity, and digitize the port will cost 25 bn in total. The lease will be over a period of 15 years, and will give full control, and revenues over to REPC, however it will have to follow all Dormill and Stutrian Regulations, and be treated as another company. More deals could hopefully be made in the future.

AVIARY REPORTS: OUTBREAK IN BOHIN

FLOODTOWN - A recent Aviary health check-up across Sunafrica has confirmed that recent suggestions of a major disease outbreak in Bohin are not just rumors. In fact, over 780 people within the Bohin have so far been diagnosed with the virus. Aviary was unable to identify the pathogen other than its viral identity. Aviary virologists have never come into contact with this strand of virus, and are calling it new.

With over 780 infected individuals, Umbrellya has recommended for Bohin to declare a state of emergency. Concerning the nature of the virus, Aviary has suggested to the government to quarantine the northern provinces. This recommendation was made following an Aviary conclusion of the virus' nature inside the host. After studying the pathogen for 2 weeks, up until yesterday, Aviary has concluded the virus is of Level 8 nature, the most serious and dangerous class of the company's Classification Library. A Level 8 virus typically involves the Filovirodae viral family, and can kill its host within usually 15 days after initial infection. Studied symptoms include: skin discoloration, skin irritation, headaches, insomnia, tiredness, fever, internal bleeding (contusions), weak joints, dried lips, sweating, dehydration, diarrhea, loss of thought, blood clotting, loss of minor limbs, raised rashes, extreme nausea and vomiting, red eyes, chest pains and cough, severe weight loss, malnutrition, hemorrhaging from eyes, nose, mouth, anus, fingernails, and organ failure. One other symptom, tissue construction paralysis (TRP), is also predicted, but not yet confirmed. The virus reportedly has a 3 day incubation period before any symptoms arise.

While the virus has not yet entered any major urban areas, cities like nearby Kiojaa, Floodtown, and Canneslao are at extreme risk of infection. Rural counties around these urban centers are heavily contaminated and are a major breeding ground for the pathogen; particularly ones with expansive slums, or shanty towns.

Umbrelliet virologists are in the process of naming the pathogen but suggest "Floodtown Fever" is fitting. Aviary is reassuring the globe that the virus is not their corporate manufactured: Sherbery. Aviary asks the Bohin government at this time for permission to intervene in the situation, by not only studying the virus more extensively but also by treating and quarantining the infected counties and areas.

Kenserwick, Deutsches Reich -- After about a week, the annexation of the JRR by the Wehrmacht has been completed and was a resounding success. The JRR, a nation that has been relatively unknown to the outside world, had been a nation that was shrouded in secrecy and not even the meaning of its acronym name had been known. Being an extremely isolationist nation had caused it to rely on obsolete technology, in both the civilian and military sense. Many divisions of the Heer and Luftwaffe reported little to no resistance, with much of the enemy surrendering, running out of ammunition, or suffering weapon malfunctions. In the capital of Kenservick, many of the younger population assisted the Reich's forces - reporting positions of the enemy, and also fighting within the capital. These groups of young individuals were accepted into the Englean Heer, in a special division called the "Kenserwickjugend," and have been tasked with keeping order within the younger population and small policing duties. Within the city today, the Wehrmacht presented many parades for the Führer and population in celebration of the victory. The annexation has been named the "Befreiung von Kenserwick" (Liberation of Kenservick) by many locals and those in the mainland alike. JRR is officially considered part of the Deutsches Reich, and therefore the acronym "JRR" will be removed from the former nation and all documents. City names and other names will remain, for convenience of the populace.

Führer von Heindrich had traveled to Kenserwick today to inspect the new capital city that had been annexed, but had been attacked by an unknown individual. The individual attacked with a knife like weapon, but was only able to cause a small laceration on the Führer's face before von Heindrich shot the individual twice, killing them. He had been described as "calm" after the event, proceeding to continue to his awaiting vehicle while the guards dealt with the attacker's remains. A few hours later, he had been seen inspecting the parades of the Wehrmacht in the city square; even awarding lower class medals to the Kenserwickjugend for assisting the Reich in the annexation. von Heindrich gave out a statement to nations in the world; "Nations of Sunalaya, our annexation of the JRR has been completed. We united the Germanic people of Southern Ventismar, and as stated previously by myself - the Deutsches Reich will stop at this nation. You have no reason to fear us moving anywhere else, unless prompted by an outside force. The Deutsches Reich appreciates your understanding and not reacting with hostility to the situation."

7 DEAD, 6 WOUNDED AT BORDER OF CILL AIRNE-WESTSEAXNALND ~ FEARS OF RISING TENSIONS AGAIN

KINGSBRIDGE - The Cill Airiochin Government has now confirmed that 7 Westseaxen soldiers have been killed and an additional 6 have been left injured following attacks along and near the Cill Airiochin-Westseaxen border in the early hours of the morning. These attacks, likely carried out by the paramilitary group FCAA (Free Cill Airiochin Army), targeted a number of towns and villages along the border, all on the Westseaxen side. The Ministry of Defence has confirmed that a WBC (Westseaxen Broadcasting Corporation) station was targeted in a bombing in the city of Doire Cholmcille near the city. A courthouse was burnt down in the nearby town of Inis Ceithleann - notable for being the only way in and out of Cill Airne and Eastern Cill Airne, which remains a part of Westseaxnaland.

Although it remains unconfirmed, it is believed the new barracks being built by the Westseaxen Army to house the soldiers who do the border check from the Westseaxen side was also targeted. Photos have emerged on social media claiming the new barracks, half-way-to completion, on fire. However, neither government has commented on these at this time. Many commentators noted the attacks were reminiscent of the start of Operation Unification - a 6 year long campaign by the FCAA starting in 1952 and ending in 1958. The aftermath of Operation Unification led to decades of tense relations between the governments of Cill Airne and Westseaxnaland, as then Prime Magister Andrew O'Keeley, a veteran of the War for Independence, refused to denounce the actions of the FCAA as terrorism. Many Cill Airiochins lived in constant fear of the possible outbreak of war between the two nations, leading to the closure of embassies between both nations, which only reopened in 2015.

If found to be a resurgence of FCAA activity in Eastern Cill Airne today's attacks could signify a return to the highest tensions between the neighbouring nations since the 1960's and 1970's. The Westseaxen Government, which has already denounced these actions as the acts of criminals and terrorists, has already sworn those responsible will be brought to justice. Many are concerned if the Cill Airiochin government does not denounce the actions and recognise the FCAA as a terrorist organisation a return to tense-relations could be seen. The FCAA was classified as a terrorist organisation by the Westseaxen Government in 1987 by the Terrorist Act 1987, but the organisation remains legal within Cill Airne despite it's international renowned for being a paramilitary organisation. Until just last year the organisation received some government protections, in fact, with membership being withheld allowing known members to cross the border. However, following the reopening of Embassies the Cill Airiochin government was forced to hand over all known members of the organisation to Westseaxen authorities.

BREAKING NEWS: Reichstag Introduces the National Security Act of 2017

Following the Recent String of Events that transpired within Kiez following the Skirmish on 447 Bridgeway Lane (Lower Left), rumors began to circulate throughout the Reich that the Richtofen Administration was drafting a bill that would enhance the Internal & National Security of the Communist Reich.

While not a surprise to many due to the recent string of events within the Reich that followed the 447 Bridgeway Lane Incident around Late 2016, and with each Terrorist Attack following what has now been dubbed as the Flashpoint Event. The Reichstag, at the behest of the Richtofen Administration has unanimously and overwhelmingly passed the historic National Security Act of 2017. According to information gathered from the publically released voting poll only the Kiez Socialist Party, the organization responsible for the 2016 Attempted Coup D'etat voted against the passage of the Bill, in which they cited that the Bill was a "Gross Overstep of the Constitutional Rights afforded to both the Legislative and Executive Branches." While many dismiss the KSP's reasoning as irrelevant, and beside the point, there are those who sought to understand the effects of this bill. In order to help put the minds of the people at ease, Richtofen made a statement immediately following the passage of the bill:

"No matter how much we try to stop it, our world is continually changing around us, loved ones will eventually pass away from causes that are either Natural or by the hands of others. The events in Late 2016 have made apparent that we as a people must no longer ignore them anymore, thus I have decided to introduce the National Security Act of 2017 which will, by definition: help improve the Internal Stability and National Security of the Communist Reich of Kiez. This Bill will by necessity divert additional funding to the Ministry of Internal Affairs who will then evenly divert this funding towards the Civil Services and the Defense Forces of Kiez. This Bill will also improve coordination between the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs within as well as around our National Borders in order to assure a more secure and safer soceity." The Premier shifted through a sheaf of papers before continuing "More importantly, remembering the attempted Coup D'etat upon my Administration, this Bill has also demanded the Immediate Dissolution as well as outlawing of the Kiez Socialist Party and the arrest of all of it's remaining members who will then be tried within the Kiez Superior Court and sentenced to time of jail for their part in the Coup."

Immediately following the passage of the National Security Act, the last remaining Reichstag Representative from the Kiez Socialist Party was promptly arrested as well as the Headquarters of the Kiez Socialist Party being stormed by Einsatzgruppe Sturmwandler (Task Force Stormwalker) and all of it's remaining members being detained for questioning as well as trial for their crimes against the government. Following the raid: General Nikolai Krukov, Commander-In-Chief of the Kiez Armed Forces had this to say "Not a day goes by when I wonder what could have been done to prevent tragic events such as the 2016 Coup and the attack on Berlin International Airport. I don't do this for my own personal satisfaction against the interlopers of the 2016 Coup, but rather I do this to help make the people of Kiez feel as if they can be safe in their homes again. The internet has been glowing red the past 24 hours. All over the world people have been spotting small meteoroids crashing in to fields and underpopulated areas. Someone from the Lindian village of Audebroek shared this on Tweeter:

"I found this huge rock, I think a meteoroid, in my family's spinach field. I called the police to come and confirm this, and I was detained for 12 hours without any reason. When I was released, my spinach field had been burnt by the military in hazmat suits" He also shared a picture of the green rock.

The same phenomena has been reported on all the continents of the world. Some even went as far as to claim that they have been coughing up blood after they came in to contact with the rock.

In response to Englean annexation of JRR, the Sunrisian parliament has voted in favor of transforming our country’s sanctions against Engleberg into a full embargo. By its scope, the embargo would be of the same capacity as the embargos against POD and Hasnak that are currently in effect. All interactions and cooperation between Sunrisia and Engleberg are blocked and prohibited, and exceptions will only be made to Sunrisian exports of most basic need products to Engleberg, like food and water. Before the Enlgean coup, back when the Kaisserrech was still ruled by a different regime, Sunrisia on occasion had plans to impose sanctions on Engleberg due to our country’s view that Engleberg was undermining democracy. The plans were realized and the process of imposing sanctions was accelerated after Resolution 29 passed at the USA Security Council, a resolution which called for sanctions on Engleberg. Resolution 29 included the possibility of embargo, however, the Béâtídá administration naively believed at the time that sanctions would be enough and less extreme. A Sunrisian embargo on Engleberg would remain imposed until further notice.

Meanwhile, in Ziamban (Aethiopia, Sunafrica), an outbreak of a dangerous virus was reported in The Bohin, creating a risk of the disease spreading throughout the continent. From players outside the continent, Aviary and Umbrellya were reported as already having begun responding. The Béâtídá administration has confirmed that Sunrisia has already sent military personnel and medical personnel to The Bohin to engage in containment of the virus to prohibit its spreading outside The Bohin’s borders and help eradicate the disease inside The Bohin, while it is localized. Sunrisia would help set up containment units across The Bohin, treat and provide emergency aid to the affected individuals, engage in sterilization and assist in border control, if allowed, in order to keep the disease contained within The Bohin, like a cage. The Béâtídá administration also said that Sunrisia would be donating money to the authorities of The Bohin, as well as international organizations and possibly partner nations also engaged in the activities against the virus, in order to help fight the disease more effectively and much quicker. Additionally, GHSAO would receive more funding from the government of Sunrisia to accelerate the development of the cure in large quantities. Finally, large sums of humanitarian aid would be wired to The Bohin.

President Sánît Béâtídá said that in case the measures that were laid out are not enough to beat the virus in The Bohin, Sunrisia is prepared to do more. Additionally, the President stated that the government of The Bohin will hopefully temporarily put its differences with a lot of foreign countries aside, realize that time is limited and join forces in fighting the disease for the world’s common good and further existence.

FCAA HAS CLAIMED RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS MORNING'S DEADLY ATTACKS

KINGSBRIDGE - The Free Cill Airiochin Army has released a video this afternoon claiming responsibility for the deadly and costly attacks in Eastern Cill Airne this morning. The man, wearing the signature black ski mask of the organisation, spoke in Irish, but the video included English subtitles. The video starts off by stating over the past decade the FCAA has spent it's time and resources recruiting, training and rearming it's units. The Westseaxen government has stated this is alarming, if found to be true. "During the first FCAA campaign, the paramilitary organisation rearmed by performing arms raids - raiding police constabularies and military bases in Eastern Cill Airne. No arms raids have occurred in the past decade, so if true, it means the FCAA has found a new supply of weaponry." told Westseaxen Prime Minister Cedric Howarth to the associated press.

The video went on to announce the start of a new campaign, known as Operation Harvest, and stated the FCAA has carefully planned it. The man speaking on behalf of the FCAA stated Operation Harvest, unlike Operation Liberation, will only target Eastern Cill Airne in their aims to liberate it from Westseaxen occupation. The video concluded with the man stating, "Spearheaded by Cill Airne's freedom fighters, our people have carried the fight to the enemy… Out of this national liberation struggle a new Cill Airne will emerge, upright and free. In that new Cill Airne, we shall build a country fit for all our people to live in. That then is our aim: an independent, united, democratic Cill Airne. For this we shall fight until the invader is driven from our soil and victory is ours".

With confirmation of a second FCAA campaign, many have expressed fears of tensions between the two nations rising once again. Wentworth St. Claire, Cill Airne's current Prime Magister, has pushed for reunification of the island as part of his platform, and a United Cill Airne has long remained part of the Conservative Party's platform. With the Conservatives in a majority, many believe the current Cill Airiochin government will not condemn the actions of the FCAA, potentially leading to tensions between Westseaxnaland and Cill Airne once again. Many have speculated the Cill Airiochin government, or government officials, may be giving unofficial support to the FCAA, due to the ability for them to cross the border from Cill Airne into Eastern Cill Airne, despite it being one of the most heavily armed and guarded borders in Sunalaya. Only time will tell how this new FCAA campaign will play out.

A Party Divided

Kirkubah, Drasuvania - Arguing erupted at the 68th Annual Worker's Congress today, perhaps signaling the most divisive faction splits since the CPD's inception.

Papers flew, insults were thrown, and deputies of both faction blocs were thrown out over the question of nationalizing the largest steel manufacturing cooperative, and perhaps the largest steel manufacturer in Ophion, Şadî Manufacturing. Besides steel, they are also known for manufacturing weapons for various weapons dealers, Drasuvanian and Foreign alike. The bloc supporting the nationalization consists of the usual right-wing factions of the party: the Azshkenists, various individual deputies and of course the "Vanguardists" of which Comrade-Premier Taraki has decided to back, much to the surprise and dismay of the left-wing bloc whom he used to support. Taraki explained his decision in his address to the congress, stating that "We have seen the resurgence of nuclear arms and the development of new methods of slaughtering, all for the bourgeois tendencies of nationalism and greed. There is no doubt in my mind that Şadî must be nationalized for the world revolution." Avowed libertarian socialist General-Secretary Desmal Rêber fired back during his address, stating that "the only threat to the world revolution is a lost vision. It is hard to see your way through the clouded lenses of a bureaucrat."

Sunrisia Begins Supplying Humanitarian Aid To Biajanna, Tulikotoka And Affected Leeuwinse: President Sánît Béâtídá Expresses Stance On FCAA, Westseaxnaland And Cill Airne

The parliament has voted to begin the provision of humanitarian aid to Biajanna and Tulikotoka, along with affected Leeuwinse nationals in the area. Apart from a virus outbreak in The Bohin, Ziamban recently saw the beginning of another conflict on the continent, primarily taking place between the neighboring countries of Biajanna and Tulikotoka, but also involving soldiers from Leeuwin, who formally had to play a peacekeeper role, but ended up as a third party to the conflict.

Currently, it seems like the fight is not leading anywhere and ultimately it is not even clear what the final motives of expected results of each side are, thus only making it an empty destructive fight and nothing else. The Béâtídá administration reported that it had already been engaging in a dialogue with foreign partners, discussing the necessity to broker a cease-fire. In the meantime, Sunrisia will be taking precautions to provide relief until the fighting is not over.

The flow of humanitarian help would be assisted by the Sunrisian Defense Force. The military would protect the supplies as they would be delivered by air and water, with the Sunrisian Air Force escorting cargo planes and Sunrisian Naval Forces escorting cargo ships. An option of sending medical and relief aid worker personnel under military protection, has not been ruled out, however, in case the conflict zone remains too dangerous further, that option will currently be withheld. Sunrisian forces themselves will stay out of the conflict and only help regulate the humanitarian flow to affected areas and people.

On another topic, President Sánît Béâtídá had been asked a question on FCAA, Westseaxnaland and Cill Airne at today’s press conference. This comes in the aftermath of recent reports that a paramilitary organization the Free Cill Airiochin Army (FCAA) has claimed responsibility for more recent attacks in Eastern Cill Airne, a territory which despite its name, is formally a sovereign part of Westseaxnaland and inhabited by ethnic Cill Airiochins. Since it all might seemingly lead to the relaunch of tensions between Westseaxnaland and Cill Airne, the President was asked whether Sunrisia would have a response to help avert such development. President Béâtídá said:

“This is an ethnic conflict and it is always a complicated issue. We cannot take sides, because that would be favoritism of one people over the other, even if we might have personal opinions of which side is using more correct methods of representing their ethnicity and their interests, and which is not. Definitely, it is unfortunate that representation of ethnic Cill Airiochins in Westseaxnaland and their resistance seems to currently be led and handled by paramilitaries in a form of FCAA. An armed group using controversial methods to fight for ethnic interests is currently the “loudest” and the “brightest” voice of Cill Airiochin people in Westseaxnaland. Whether that is okay, is up to individual judgment. Personally, it seems to be an unfortunate situation to me.

Whether Eastern Cill Airne should be part of Westseaxnaland, independent or reunified with the country of Cill Airne, is the decision of the people there and their actual voice will further be more difficult to hear in the crossfires of this confrontation, political and armed. In best case scenario, Westseaxnaland and Cill Airne may overcome differences, join hands and resolve the problem together, because the current state will not lead anywhere. That is hypothetical. Some might call it naïve and unrealistic, but hope should never die. Unless mediation is carried out, third party involvement will not achieve anything positive and it only brings me back to favoritisms that I talked about before. That would only contribute to escalation. Sunrisia will continue helping Westseaxnaland with IOFC only.

Instead of taking risks of rolling everything down a destructive path, the best and most productive that Sunrisia could do is agitate for truce, make mediation attempts and work with international organizations to help bring the situation to a positive resolution.”

School shooting in Mittelbereich: Student of Schramfingen School kills 12 people - 9 students, 2 school employees and himself


Homage for the dead victims of the morning massacre

Grégoire Carbonneau, a 17-year-old student of Schramfingen School (a renowned school in the town of Schramfingen, located in the canton of Adlerhorst in the northeast region of Mittelbereich) killed 11 people and injured 9 in the second week of class, this Thursday morning. 9 of them were students - some even classmates of his - and the other 2 employees. He also committed suicide after police arrived, totalizing 12 deaths.

Grégoire’s victims were: Rebecca Kehrer (12 years old), Timo Schönfeld (12 years old), Lennard Kogler (13 years old), Cecilia Krüger (15 years old), Nicola Höller (15 years old), Vincent Nagelberg (16 years old), Daniel Lauer (17 years old), Denis Krüger (17 years old), Angelina Schwartz (17 years old), Judith Gollwitzer (37 years old, German teacher) and Victor Schmidt (44 years old, janitor).

One thing that can be noticed from the list of fatalities is that none of the shooter’s victims were of d’Fleuvian descent like him, although they were relatively common in the school. Survivors of the attack said Grégoire suffered bullying for coming from Lacsalé, a French-speaking province due to colonization by d’Fleuves in the past. Prejudice between German and French speakers in Minarchis is very common, and the province of Lacsalé is seem as the most unique and distinct of the 6 provinces of Minarchismusland.

Carbonneau was reported to use an assault rifle, a pistol and a revolver. Investigations also are leading to the suspect he planned something bigger - more exactly usage of homemade explosives - but after a failure in his plans the killer simply performed the shooting part of the attack. After the arrival of police, Grégoire used the janitor’s room to hide, himself after injuring a cop’s leg.

Friends say his dad left his mother, leading her to acquire depression and move to the neighboring province of Mittelbereich, where a sister of hers - aunt of Grégoire - lived. The teenager was reported to use medications for psychiatric treatment. His friends also affirm he occasionally showed nazist leanings, played violent games constantly and was a big fan of the industrial metal band Steinbrecher, famous for the song Ich Hab.

The incident caused a big repercussion and debates. Some people say firearms should have a tighter control over them to prevent further school shootings (something relatively common in the country) from happening, while others say guns aren’t that the problem, and that the real issue is bullying in schools. Conservative parents demand restriction on videogames and music deemed to be too violent and aggressive, although many say this infringes the right of free speech so deeply praised in Minarchis.

Protesters and Government Forces Clash
Jorvik, Friesland. The Revolutionary Socialists and National Union protesters have clashed today during a march planned by the two on the capitol building. Government troops and riot officers were standing by and attempted to break up the brawl before it became a riot.

The following scene was one of confusion and tragedy, it is unknown who fired first but as the riot troopers approached the two groups someone from within the crowd fired off a shot, several more rang out soon after. In the initial gunfire two of the riot troopers were killed by stray shots, the commanding officer ordered his men to switch from their non-lethal arms to their sidearms. in he insuring chaos 35 people were killed among them three more of the riot troopers. The Marshal has condemned the use of force by the commanding officer, but at the same time has announce that until further notice the RSP and FNUA will be under indictment, and ordered their leaders to mobilize all militias and turn themselves in. Tidhelm Fowler (Leader of the FNUA) and Heahred Turner (Leader of the RSP) have both refused blaming the the deaths in Jorvik on the other leader and the government. Both men have since moved to the north and east respectively to rally their supporters, the two of them have made statements declaring the Marshals government illegal and without the will of the people.

The Marshal has stated that he will use whatever force necessary to maintain democracy, and will never let in his own words "This glorious nation will never fall into the hands of megalomaniacal tyrants". The disease which the international world is coming to know as Floodtown Fever has infected 1,500 people in the last four weeks. It has spread through The Bohin, with symptoms showing up all across the country. Many believe that the disease was brought in from Ventismar; whether this is by accident or an outright attack on the Bohi people has yet to be determined.

Sunrisia has been allowed to enter The Bohin's national waters and help the patients. When asked why foreigners were allowed in, Oligarch Buttum explained, "Sunrisia is from Corentia, a disease ridden wild of a land. We will allow in Sunrisia, for of course they must be experts in handling disease if there are people even living in that horrid area."

It was also confirmed that Aviary, the Umbryellan company has been denied access into The Bohin, under 'penalty of death'. "It is you of Ventismar who have plagued us. Holy fire will rain down on your people, may their souls be cleansed."

Following the attacks along the Westseaxen-Cill Airiochin border many people began to call for an independence referendum to be held in Eastern Cill Airne - one of the 4 countries that make up the United Kingdom of Westseaxnaland and Eastern Cill Airne.

The last referendum was held in 1998, and showed support for remaining in the union at an all time high. Only 23% of voters voted for unification with Cill Airne.

However, following the recently renewed campaign of the FCAA - Free Cill Airiochin Army - many politicians in Eastern Cill Airne have called for a new referendum - hoping it may lead to a diplomatic solution to the terrorist organisation's threats.

However, the government out of Winchester refused the bid to hold a new referendum yesterday, stating "we do not negotiate with terrorists." Instead, the government voted to deploy more troops into Eastern Cill Airne.

The deployment is likely to illicit a response from the FCAA - most of whom are citizens of Cill Airne and launch attacks within Westseaxnaland before crossing back into the independent state. Known members of the FCAA are not allowed entry into Westseaxnaland.

A recent unofficial poll conducted on the Island - both in Cill Airne and Eastern Cill Airne - showed only 11% of Eastern Cill Airiochins support the FCAA, while 38% of Cill Airiochins do. The poll, however, also showed a jump in pro-independence in Eastern Cill Airne.

The poll stats showed that while 96% of Cill Airiochins are in support of a unified Cill Airne, only 49.3% of those asked in Eastern Cill Airne are. That, however, is the highest amount ever in any poll in Eastern Cill Airne since the island was partitioned. Cill Airne was partitioned after the Cill Airiochin war of Independence ended in 1924, with most of the island gaining independence, but the Eastern portion remaining within Westseaxnaland.

Congress Decides on New Foreign Policy Outlook

Kirkubah, Drasuvania - After the eventful first day of the annual worker's congress, things have seem to cooled down between temporarily between the Rêber Bloc and the various pro-nationalization factions to move onto more pertinent foreign policy matters.

The Party has decided to refocus their outlook of foreign policy from a "national socialism" to an "international socialism" which will support proletarian struggle wherever it may exist. Montego International Auto Show Revving Up For Mid February
MONTEGO, WA - It's getting to that time of year again, when Montego becomes home to one of the world's largest and most attended auto shows for 2 weeks. The Porter Convention Centre, a massive building with over 2 million square feet of floorspace, will become a place where many of the world's automakers will come to show their latest and greatest vehicles for the upcoming year. It is expected that at least 300 vehicles, ranging from compacts to full-size luxury sedans to trucks and vans, will be on display for visitors to look at, sit in, get a close inspection, and compare with others. On top of that, several companies will have vehicles that licensed drivers can take out for a test drive to get a feel for their products. Not only is it a place for the serious motorhead or car buyer, but there is plenty of things for families with children to do. Event planners believe that this year's show will have more attendees than last year, and are planning with local transport companies to help get visitors to and from the show.
