The historical first democratic elections in the State of West Zilveren Berg have commenced. The people of West Zilveren Berg have finally elected a government they can call their own. Nevertheless, some of the key elections have resulted in a tie among multiple parties, so all hopes are now that the parties which had ended up on top, will be able to form a coalition. That is the moment when the West Zilveren people will truly have a formed government that they can call their own.
The key elections that had ended up in a tie, were the general election and the Senate election. Both of them were aimed at electing the upper house and lower house chambers of the West Zilveren legislature – the House of Representatives and the Senate. In both elections, the same 4 parties have apparently ended up on top and will now have the responsibility of forming legislative part of the government for starters. Those 4 parties that tied the race are – Alliance of New West Zilveren Berg (ANWZB), the Union of National Liberals and National Democrats (UNLND), the National Movement for West Zilveren Progress (NMWZP) and the Alternative Democratic Liberal Party of West Zilveren Berg (ADLPWZB). These 4 parties will now have the responsibility of forming a coalition so that West Zilveren Berg does not have to go through a re-vote, which is not guaranteed to bring different results and which the citizens are not enthusiastic about because of longing for an elected government as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the results of the provincial and municipal elections in West Zilveren Berg are being counted. The result of the provincial elections will have influence on the composition of the Senate, because regional parliaments will appoint a large portion of the Senate officials, whereas the others were elected in the Senate election.

The President responded by saying that Sunrisia was not planning on prematurely ending the counter-radiation and clean-up efforts, rather planning to transfer the work to other military elements. President Válîd Sâlúbĕr and Chairman Shou Vedder of West Zilveren Berg also talked about the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) regarding Sunrisian forces in West Zilveren Berg and how that agreement would further be handled by the Sunrisian government and the newly-elected West Zilveren government when it is formed. For now, the Parliamentary Legislative Assembly, as a provisional authority, still uses its’ interim powers to invite Sunrisian forces in West Zilveren Berg, until the power transfer.
