Protests Erupt across Nanyu as Martial Law Continues for Yunazites

Nanyu has been rocked by severe rioting and protests across the country as Yunazites have come out in droves to protest the continuation of Martial Law protocols that deny them basic freedoms such as freedom of Speech, Assembly, and Press. The protocols, which were put into place 4 months ago during the international pestilence crisis, were never lifted for Yunazites. Ethnic-Nani citizens though, were able to resume their lives.
Many protests have ended violently as government leaders have called for quick and merciless crackdown on dissenters.
"These anarchists have damaged private and public property. They have attacked policemen as well as bystanders. Stores are being looted and homes are being burned. Of course we have to crack down on these terrorists!" Remarked Mayor Gi Nayamu, leader of Sibu.
President Duong, when asked about the continuation of the Martial Law protocols, said this:
"The rights of Yunazite citizens will be restored soon. Intelligence reports have indicated a possibility of attack by militant Yunazite-liberation groups. Until this issue is resolved, martial law with stay in effect."
When asked to elaborate about said security threats, President Duong declined to answer.



Yunazite Activist Javira al-Kasar says in an interview, "The plague ended officially months ago. So why is it that the rights of Yunazites are still stifled? The President's allegations of a terrorist threat is completely unwarranted. The government is using martial law as a way to weed out dissenters."



It is estimated that 23 people have been killed in clashes between protesters and police, with riots in 7 different cities. The President went on national television to ask for order to be restored and denied allegations of using martial law as a political weapon to silence opponents.

VvOn the local scene , the protests in Sevapool have died down with the city on a dusk to dawn curfew and about a 120 people detented.

Police Brutality Horrify Nation



Video footage of apparent police brutality against Yunazite protesters has brought backlash from citizens across the nation as well as the world. In Chateru, where 5 protesters were killed by police, one witness described the chaos and the cruelty that was dealt by the police. "We were assembling peacefully!" He said, preferring not to be named. "The police surrounded the square and blocked off the exits with firetrucks and police vans. They sprayed us with high-powered hoses. It peeled the skin off [of the protesters]! They pushed an elderly man down and beat him with canes! For what? What can he do? What threat does a 70 year old pose to these brutes with sticks and guns?"
Dozens were arrested and put into the city jail. It is estimated that nearly two-thousand were arrested and imprisoned without due process. When our reporters requested an official word from Police Chief Unayo, he declined to comment. Sergeant Ignacio Huy though had this to say: "What you are hearing about brutality is extremely biased. These rioters were breaking windows and robbing stores. When we sent our policemen in, they started throwing rocks and glass bottles. They set tires and trashcans on fire, flipping cars and burning them. We did what we had to do to ensure the safety of our city."



The worst case of police brutality though, comes from the city of Brunei, where reports of a massacre are pouring in. Sources say that at least 30 people are dead after police fired live ammunition into a dense crowd of demonstrators. The scene can only be described as absolute bedlam as one protester says, "Bodies litter the streets and blood is flowing like rainwater." Another man says, "Does the world see what they are doing to us? They are murdering us in the streets! Where is the justice? Where is the fairness? Is this equality? Is this stability and peace?"
Police officials in Brunei have remained silent about the massacre. Witnesses describe how marchers were chanting 'Down with Duong!' when police moved in and were told to 'Shoot the pigs'.
"I can't believe it!" One woman wailed as she was supported by another person. "They killed them! They killed them all! Oh God why have you allowed this? Why?"
While we were on the street a young man, bloody and clearly exhausted, told us to get off the street because the police were confiscating and destroying cameras and phones. He led us to an alleyway and pointed us in the right direction. Before leaving, he said, "Get this footage out to the world. Show them what they are doing to us."
As stories come in, reports are arriving that children as young as 6 are among the dead, but these are unconfirmed. The death toll is still unclear, as some bodies may have been counted twice, and the police have began to take the bodies away. We will continue to keep you updated on the events unfolding in Nanyu.

Regional Health Organization Report

Hearing the distressing situations across the region involving wide scale injuries, deaths, and basic human rights violations, the Regional Health Organization has mobilized special forces to certain nations to bring aid and support.

Doctors and nurses with medical supplies have been sent to monitor the situations in Alystan and Belarussia. The doctors and nurses are guarded by a small retinue of highly trained guards to defend them.

Large scale humanitarian efforts are being organized to enter into the nations of Argent and Nanyu, as the Regional Health Organization Chairman has deemed these areas of conflict the most volatile and in the most urgent need of care.

Thousands are already dead and injured in the Argentian Civil war with more suffering each day and has been deemed 'Crisis Situation'. Hundreds of doctors, nurses, and specialists are being sent to the country with medical aid supplies. Because the of the hostile situation a corp of several hundred soldiers are being ordered to protect the medical care givers from the fighting.

The Nanyu situation has been deemed as 'quickly deteriorating' with protester injuries and deaths growing as the government and military of the Nanyu Republic continue. The RHO calls on the Nanyu administration of President Duong to 'quickly move to find a peaceful means to end the conflict and return the rights of the Yunazite people.' The RHO also encourages the administration to 'find restraint with the Yunazite protesters as woman, children, and the elderly are among their numbers. Too many have already been injured and killed due to unnecessary force.'

The RHO are monitoring the situation in Nanyu while preparing and organizing relief efforts to aid Yunazites in the region being attacked as well as Nanyu people that are also harmed in the protests.

Dead or Alive? Continued.

The Narodna Party officials and law enforcement claimed today to have found the corpse of Chancellor Deraj Ylad, Chancellor of Argent before the start of the current conflict.

The above photo was taken by an unknown source without Narodna sanction.

Officials state that the Chancellor's body was found just outside the capital of Zevezda in a wooden area. Evidence shows, they report, that the Chancellor may have been mortally wounded in his flight from the Revolutionary Vanguard and died in his attempt to escape.

Officials refuse to show the body to the public due to the degree of decomposition, but claim that the body was in the regalia of the Chancellor.

Dratzni officers and officials call the discovery a shame. A lie to discourage and break the moral of the fighting forces of the Dratzni that have the advantage over the Narodna at this time.

Tides Changing?

Narodna Government is gaining international support from the powers of the region in the form of humanitarian aid and reported military aid in the form of weapons. Loans to the Narodna are being issued by foreign governments after the parties plea to the international community was heard after the discovery of the emptiness of treasury coffers. Encouragement from this has trickled to the army of the Naronda in their struggle against the Dratzni in the South and the city of Pancevo in the upper Central region of Argent.

The Dratzni admonish the international community for supporting usurpers against the legitimate government of Argent. Calling for the international groups to rescind their support of the Narodna and support the Dratzni. The Confederate Empire of Sheng China's continued support is providing a major lifeline to the Dratzni in the form of trade, weapons, and financial support from outside the country.

Some churches and mosques have been shut down today for their involvement with unsanctioned religious organizations in a government purge of the unlawful organizations and their illegal activities.

Several hundreds of underground churches and mosques have been forcibly shut down by Imperial Police task forces. The unsanctioned churches and mosques are in direct violation of Imperial policy of government sponsored religious organizations.

Foreign Missionaries whom lead the unsanctioned churches and mosques have been expelled from the country in mass due to the violation of the government policy and as well as for committing illegal acts such as active conversion and practicing a religion without identification.

Dozens of both Foreign Missionaries and native religious leaders in connection to the unsanctioned groups have been jailed for acts of subversion and lèse-majesté in criticizing imperial edicts and government policies.

High Minister of Justice, Bao Zheng(above), promises "'...no leniency shall be shown to these delinquents. They shall be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Not because they are Christians and Muslims, but because they have expressly broken the law of the Empire and insulted our most divine Grand Empress."

Battle of Pancevo

An upset in the war in Argent today. Narodna forces have successfully repelled the forces of the Dratzni in their siege of the city of Pancevo. The arrival of Narodna reserves armed to the teeth with fresh new weapons from abroad along with other weapons upset and surprised the Dratzni army.

The week long battle resulted in the death of approximately 550 soldiers and nearly 750 civilians.

Dratzni forces were routed and forced to flee deep back into their own territory. The Narodna are quickly capitalizing on this by moving into West Argent, the major economic center of Argent, and committing to battle for control of the region.

Although the battle has ended much destruction has been wrought onto the city of Pancevo. International Humanitarian aid is being directed to the city to aid the injured civilian populace.

In victory the Narodna have left a trail of death in their pursuit of the Dratzni forces. Captured Dratzni soldiers have been executed by firing squad in mass and thrown into pits to be burned.

Towns in deep Tokora today are in an all out riot over the Treatment of Sheng China's people. The local Cathlic population is demanding that we invade Sheng China or otherwise they will do it themselves.


The dissenters are showing their anger by mobbing the local Buddhists. There have been an estimated 250 killed in the madness. Bhuddists have been evacuting to the cities begging for military assistance. One of them was a girl asking where her father is. The PAT (People's Army of Tokora) is trying hard as they can to quell the conflict.


We can only pray that the army can end this quickly and peacefully.

An Imperial Edict was handed down today from the Imperial Palace. The Grand Empress, while lambasting the interference of foreign nations in Imperial affairs, concedes that the Hall of Justice was heavy handed in its actions.

Her Grand Imperial Majesty praises Judge Bao Zheng for his fervor in upholding the law of the Empire does uphold that his actions were controversial.

The edict ordered the pardon of several hundreds of imprisoned for their low level crimes. Those foreigners imprisoned are pardoned but instructed to leave the borders of the Empire and return to their countries of origin. Dozens remain imprisoned especially those leaders of the illegal religious organizations for committing high crimes involving subversion, money laundering, and possible treason.

In other news involving the same issue, several persons found guilty of terrorism, subversion of the government, association to the UIA and FBH, and attempting to import weapons have today been swiftly executed by firing squad and hanging in a public display.



The Empire holds a zero tolerance policy in regards to terrorism and shall continue to enforce this policy.

Lastly, protests were held in Sheng and its territories today. People were outraged by the treatment of Buddhists and Sheng Chinese people in Tokora and the world because of their religion. They declare that those persecuted in Sheng were so because they broke the law and not their religion. Buddhists are being attacked for the mere fact that they are Buddhist.

The protests were pan religious. Buddhists, Taoists, Christians, and Muslims alike protested the treatment of religious minorities the world over. Priests, Imams, and Monks of these religions held solemn sit ins of silence to protests the situation. All protests remained peaceful.

The city of Colombo, Sri Lanka, has been devasted by a nuclear explosion. An estimated 800,000 have been wiped out in the attack. It has just recently been discovered that the Prophet was behind the attack. Tokora sends aid immediantly while asking for assistance from the rest of Asiana. There will be a memorial service later today to mourn the victims. Tokora's Priemier has stated "I sympathize with the victims families and I will personaly make sure the Prophet pays for this attack. The Prophet was and is a Tokoran citizen, and when we find he will be tried for treason and mass murder, he will pay for crimes. Shock, disgust, and fear are wide spread among the people and the Imperial Government over the barbaric attack by the FBH today on the Imperial City of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Thousands of innocents vaporized. The people of the Empire cry out for the death of the FBH. Their hearts also go out to the people effected by the attack and have begun large scale food and charity drives to send to the city immediately.

The Grand Empress and the Imperial Government have instructed the people to practice their nuclear attack drills and know safe secure areas to go in the case of an attack. The Military is on high alert and clearing the area and organizing relief.

The Crown Prince lashed out today and called for "justice to be served onto the terrorists." He calls for "international cooperation in hunting down the enemy". He promises that "the Shadow Guard will show no mercy to the FBH members. Their leaders will be hunted down like dogs and brought to justice for the world to see. Or see their maker in the process." He suggest the same be performed by all nations of the world."

Imperial Naval Forces and a Carrier Fleet are in-route to combat the threat of the global terrorist group FBH and one of its leading commanders, General Moreno, in the campaign in Konstantinye. The barbaric terrorist, Moreno, lead a brazen attack on East Coast America, Konstantinye. The Imperial Government sends Imperial Forces to aid its close ally of Konstantinye and promises to crush the efforts of Moreno.

In other news, reports show that the Grand Empress has flatly denied the President of Alystan Salima Rajiya's request for a meeting.



Sources in the Imperial Palace and members of the Imperial Government show a widespread distrust for Alystan and its instability. Three governments of the Alystan nation have betrayed and threatened the Empire. The Imperial Government has issued a decree that it will have no bilateral talks with Alystan. Third party negotiations will instead by the method of communication for the time being.

Heart of the West

The fall of Belgrade City in West Argent (Yugoslavia) to the forces of the Narodna has broken Dratzni dominance of the West. Fighting was pitched between the forces of the Narodna, riding their victory from Pancevo. Dratzni forces, dismayed from the strong of sudden defeats, stayed strong in Belgrade for several weeks but could not stand the siege. The Dratzni commander surrendered in exchange for free passage for his soldiers to Zagreb.

The people of Belgrade riot though against the occupation of the Narodna. Fighting in the streets is straining the Narodna's hold on the city and are keeping their forces from advancing forward. Thousands protest, armed by the Dratzni upon their retreat when they had opened the armory for the people to armed themselves.

Deaths have not yet been reported, but it is only a matter of time.

Dratzni's are dealing with this major set back harshly as three colonels and a general have been reportedly been executed for having failed in fighting off the Narodna. Dratzni forces though have just taken in a substantial trade fleet from the Sheng Chinese into one of the Western ports. Reports are as of now unclear, but the shipments are likely that of assorted weapons, ammunition, and cash.

Rogue Fleet Gives a Hand

The Republic Expeditionary Fleet that had been occupying Peridion coastal territory are on the move to Konstantinye's Florida.

News has spread to these masterless Argentian forces of the atrocities being committed by General Merona. The Argentian force fears that the raids by General Merona will destabilize Peridion which sits in a precarious position under the occupation of the Allied powers.

The forces of 15 Destroyers, 8 Cruisers, 2 Carriers and 3 Capital Battleships will move swiftly through the gulf of Mexico to the Florida coast and likely await for a response from the Konstantinyan forces.

Today, as the assault on New Hope begins, the largest force assembled in Konstantinye's history begins to assemble in Bridgeport. After the attack in American Konstantinye many have signed on to this force. Even scientists have signed on to advance military research in support of this plan.


There have also been accounts by civilians saying that they saw ships flying across the sky. Could these be the rumored Konstantinyan Airships?

The Imperial Government and people of the Empire are in shock and dismay over the unfortunate events that have taken place in their southern neighbor of Tokora.

The Imperial Family lead a nation wide mourning for the victims of the Fundamentalist Brotherhood of Hatreds attack on the government officials in Tokora.

Chancellor Lu Kang speaking on the behalf of the Imperial Government gave the following response, "The tragedy that has occurred in Tokora is heart wrenching. The barbarity and loathsome acts of cowardice by these terrorists shall not stand. The Empire shall see every member of this organization hunted down and eradicated. Heaven's divine justice shall be brought down upon the heretical FBH who is an afront to all religions of the world, East and West. This 'Prophet', a mad man in true form, will be hunted down. He shall be brought to Justice. Mercy shall not be shown onto him and those that follow him. They claim to represent the word of their god when they are little more than terrorist that wish only to see the world in their own twisted view. This shall not stand. The world shall prevail over this insanity."

In other news, the Empire has successfully incorporated the islands of Haiti, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico into the fold of the Empire. The island group was successfully absorbed after negotiations with the local governments. The Imperial Government saw fit to bring these nations into the Confederacy in order to broaden Imperial reach into the America's in order to secure trade routes and aid Allies in the Americas.

The Imperial Government is also continuing to negotiate and consolidate the move to incorporate the Panama and Costa Rica into the Confederacy to as well broaden Sheng influence and power, as well as to secure control over the Panama Canal into the Caribbean.

Also occurring in the Empire, Sheng Imperial Shock troops have landed in West Argent to aid in the Dratzni parties campaign against Narodna.



Early reports show that the 10,000 - 15,000 Imperial Troops have overwhelmed the Narodna's poorly trained and equipped forces and routed them out of Weest Argent. The nest move of the Imperial Army is unknown as a divide in the Imperial Court seems to have occurred on the issue. The Crown Prince wishes to halt the advance and contain the Narodna. Grand General Guan Tian wishes to invade the Narodna and oust them from Argent to replace the Dratzni to power. We will continue to report on this situation as its develops.

Lastly for today, Crown Prince Sheng Zheng Wei as the Chairman of the Regional Health Organization has ordered for aid workers and supplies to be deployed to Texaslandia after the devastating tsunami that struck their capital city recently.

RHO is moving tons of supplies in the form of water, food, and makeshift shelters for the affected. Doctors and nurses the world over are moving to help the sick and injured. Engineers are also being flown to Texaslandia to aid in rebuilding the area.

The Crown Prince calls on the international community to aid the people of Texaslandia in their plight. Only an effective regional response will truly aid the people of affected by this unforgiving act of nature.
