The 1st Ever NationStates Prize
The Nobel Prizes of Nationstates

For the first time ever on Nationstates, we present the NS Prizes!

Every few months we the people of the world; no matter which world it may be, will come together in peace to hold a celebration of worldly achievements in Science, Business and the Arts. As well as the famous Peace Prize. The winner(s) of each prize will be given an award to bring home, as well as $1.2 Million NSD to continue their research.

All awards will be listed below. As this continues to grow, we will be able to hold more events:

KIAREPTIS then used the Hydroni Public Particle Accelerator to synthesize element 164, which they have named "Asimovium" elemental symbol "A." KIAREPTIS has also made many advances in the reaserch of the first and second Islands of Stability, and even laying the theoretical groundwork of a third island of stability around Z=817.

OOC: this award is just looking at the nation's stats and finding the one with the happiest citizens. I am basing a lot of these awards off of the real nobel prizes and simplifying it and adding more categories for NS

What they did to benefit Medicine/Physiology: Timothy and George were the first human to understand how to utilize self mind control (Making it so that the user may make themselves feel something or do something they are scared of). Timothy Burnswick died in test where a malfunction with the device made him kill himself when he wanted to get a glass of water. George Cathwell is now head of the research and was (before) Timothy's first assistant.
