ATLAS EVENTS THREAD

OOC: THIS THREAD IS RESTRICTED TO ATLAS REGION MEMBERS (viewtopic.php?f=23&t=265127).

This thread has been re-made to facilitate events occurring in the Atlas Region that don't warrant a separate thread. This can be bilateral meetings, military exercise events, and so forth. Please be sure to specify the location of the given event.

Foreign Minister Jay Fallon from Corenea entered the Atlas Region Meeting Hall. he is accompanied by four SIA agents and six Federal Marines

Joseph McGowen sat in his chair at the capitol building. Still deep on thought when a advisor came in. "Comrade leader, there is a meeting in Bratiskav."

"Why should I give a damn? Capitalist nations only care about themselves.". Said Joseph sternly.

"But they are wanting a meeting with all of the world leaders.". Said the Advisor.

His rough hands tightened into fists as he took a deep breath. "I will go."

Joseph and eight guards got into a helicopter and flew to Bratislav. In a few moments he was in the meeting rooms, wearing a leather hat with a red band around the hat with a gold hammer and sickle pin in the center, he stood at 6' 4" with a bushy mustache, he wore a military uniform with a leather over coat. He sat down in the chair with a annoyed look on his face.

President Dimitreshi shook Jay Fallon's hand as he entered. Upon shaking he said, "Good to have the Foreign Minister of Corenea here. We attach a great importance to our ties with your country, our similar political philosophy and vision for the world is a basis for future cooperation. Enjoy your stay here - you are always welcome to Bratislav. "

Later, the President approached Joseph McGowen of Vonver and upon shaking his hand said, "Hello Mr. McGowen, I would like to welcome you to my country. While we may not have very close political beliefs, I would like to ensure you that we mean no hostility to communist or left-wing countries such as yours. We respect the diversity of our region and believe such meetings are a helpful opportunity for these diverse nations to be in dialogue and to increase chances of cooperation. "

President Cosmos who has not left the country in the past few months has decided to attend the Meeting personally to hopefully meet with allies and to achieve good relations with those he is not familiar with.

His plane arrived at an airport in Bratislav where he is escorted by armed guards to his vehicle of transportation at the entrance. From there he is driven a short distance away and enters the Meeting Hall. To him it was fairly quit since very few delegates had arrived so far. Must be early he thought.

"Likewise." Replied Joseph as he shook the Presidents hand. He waited a second, then said, "I look forward to your new government." Said Joseph.

President Dimitreshi greeted President Cosmos with great delight, "It's great to have another trusted friend of Bratislav here. Our friends from Coronea are also present here. I hope you enjoy your stay. "

"Thank you my friend, I hope we'll be able to accomplish many things during this Meeting."

President Cosmos would sleep and stay on the presidential plane for the duration of his time in Bratislav. This is of course if the meeting lasted longer then a day.

Foreign Minister Jay Fallon greeted him with a Bratislavic dialect. A son to a Bratislavic mother and a Corenean father, Jay knew first thing about Bratislavic dialiect and President Peter Romao personally picked him for the job as ambassador to Bratislav for his diplomatic skills and his fluent in Bratislavic.

"The title is different throughout the Empire. Some citizens refer to me as King, others as Emperor. Most however call me Imperial President or simply President. In order to avoid confusion with other countries I simply go by the leader of the UEE."

The respective elections for Atlas will be held in this thread. Please make your vote for each of the positions.

Please vote for each position in bold.
Atlas Founder: Bratislav (permanent): mostly administrative duties, ceremonial head figure, kind of like the President in a Parliamentary System.
Atlas President (WA Delegate): To be elected: most powerful position within Atlas, makes executive decisions for the region
Atlas Foreign Minister: To be elected: job is to create relations with other regions and increase embassies between our region and other regions
Atlas Defense Minister: To be elected: job is to ensure security for Atlas, prevent and detect entrance of sock-puppets and any nation that might want to bring upheaval to the region.
