I say Aye to Luziyca. The Luziyca that’s applying here is not the dystopian parody of the United States that it was until about two years ago. All this mad authoritarian stuff about Luziyca from the past (and remember when we RPed Luziyca attacking Lanos back in 2012?) has been gradually retconned, and even its hyper-capitalism has been toned down. By the looks of things, the arrival of Sera Svensson will ultimately complete the transition. The country’s now quite clearly democratic and capitalist. Why shouldn’t we let them in?

I don’t think we should exclude nations from entering just because they use the death penalty, even though the RL European Union does. The only issue that Geadland would ICly have is that some of our cabinet ministers won’t want freedom of movement between Geadland and Luziyca. Does the Esquarian Community require freedom of movement? If so we might seek an opt-out.
